Recently, with traffic SOC investment policy changing from road-centered to railway-centered according to environment-friendly and sustainable development, issues regarding overlapping and overinvestment of traffic facility have been raised. Regarding investment of various traffic facilities of which departure and destination are similar to each other, academia, civic organizations, government, etc. are recognizing problems including overlapping investment of budget, environmental destruction, etc., but not suggesting definite solutions. Objective transportation network analysis is required because various positive effects including solutions of delay/congestion may occur due to provision of alternative way and distribution of the amount of traffic when accidents occur, as well as negative effects suggested by some of civic organizations in various transportation facility investment of similar departure and destination. Hereupon, this study tries to suggest a tool that can objectively evaluate interrelations of transportation network by applying multi-criteria analysis including economic feasibility regarding analysis of interconnections between and within means of transportation.

본 논문에서는 인터넷에서의 트래픽 엔지니어링을 수행하기 위한 프로세스 모델을 제시한다. 프로세스 모델은 4 단계로 이루어지는데, 첫번째 단계는 네트워크의 운용을 지배하는 적절한 제어정책을 정의하고 두 번째 단계는 운용 네트워크로부터의 측정 데이터를 얻는 과정이다. 세 번째 단계에서는 네트워크 상태를 분석하고 트래픽 부하를 산출하며, 마지막 단계에서는 네트워크의 성능을 최적화하는데 이와 같은 프로세스 모델의 4 단계는 연속적으로 반복되는 프로세스 모델이다.

This study investigates the delay declaration of the traffic insurance accident which is focused on a business truck causing the traffic insurance accident. The type of the delay declaration is classified as 15 types and it differs in level of payment of insurance money. It is most important that the support policy of government and the self-help of related business to reduce the delay declaration and pursue progressive solution. Moreover, it is essential not only introducing the strict regulation system but also adapting the various victim protection system.

In this paper we introduce a bandwidth allocation algorithm and admission control policy for IEEE 802.16 broadband wireless access standard. The proposed mechanism is practical and compatible to the IEEE 802.16. Our scheme provides QoS support to high priority traffic and high throughput in low priority traffic. The simulation show that the proposed scheme includes QoS support for real-time traffic and we presented that BS determine a efficient contention mini-slot size. We have shown the relationship between traffic size and its QoS requirements and the network performance.

This study deals with the traffic accidents by weather condition. The objectives are to comparatively analyze the characteristics, and to develop the models of traffic accidents by weather condition. In pursuing the above, this paper gives particular attentions to testing the differences between two groups, and developing the models(Poisson and negative binomial regression) using the data of domestic circular intersections. The main results are as follows. First, three Poisson models and one negative binomial models which were all statistically significant were developed using the number of accident and EPDO by the clear weather and other as the dependant variables. Second, the differences between two models were comparatively analyzed using the chosen variables. This paper might be expected to give some implications to traffic safety policy-making to reduce and prevent the traffic accidents in circular intersections.

현재 IETF (Internet Engineering Task Force)의 SHIM6 (Site Multihoming by IPv6 Intermediation) 워킹그룹에서는 Network layer Shim (L3shim)이라는 새로운 IPv6 스택을 정의하여IPv6 환경에서 멀티호밍을 지원하는 방법에 대해 표준을 제정하고 있다. 이 Multihoming은 redundancy, load sharing과 같은 멀티호밍 장점을 지원할 수 있다. 본 논문은 이와 같이 새롭게 정의된 L3shim이 단말에 있을 경우, 단말에서 효과적인 Policy 정책을 통한 load sharing 및 balancing 통한 traffic engineering 방법을 제시한다. 현재 SHIM6 워킹그룹에서는 L3shim을 이용한 load balancing 부분은 다루고 있지 않다. 그러나 멀티호밍의 장점 줌 하나는load balancing이며 실제 load balancing이 지원 됐을 경우 응용 차원에서 많은 장점을 가질 것으로 여겨진다. 따라서 이와 관련한 메커니즘이 필요하며, 이를 위한 선행적인 연구가 필요로 되어진다.

Increasing amount of road tragic in 90's has drawn much attention in Korea due to its influence on safety problems. Various types of data analyses are done in order to analyze the relationship between the severity of road traffic accident and driving conditions based on traffic accident records. Accurate results of such accident data analysis can provide crucial information for road accident prevention policy. In this paper, we apply several data fusion, ensemble and clustering algorithms in an effort to increase the accuracy of individual classifiers for the accident severity. An empirical study results indicated that clustering works best for road traffic accident classification in Korea.

Slicing Radio Access Network (RAN) can help in effectively utilizing the network bandwidth and to better manage the increasing traffic over interent. RAN slicing system discussed in this paper is based on an open-source slicing mechanism in which we write a JSON configuration file for slicing policy and send it to the FlexRAN controller. FlexRAN controlls the core networks (CNs) through OAI-RAN on the evolved packet core (EPC) component of this system. Each CN is responsible for handling a saperate RAN slice. The type of internet traffic is identified by the FlexRAN crontroller and is sent to the respective CN through OAI-RAN. CN handles the traffic according to the allocated bandwidth and in this way the internet traffic is sliced inside the EPC component.

This study highlights the main effect of job demand, work shift, work environment and stressors on the railway traffic controller's health, and the moderating effect of work0life balance. The result of empirical analysis based on questionnaires received from 328 traffic controllers working at 10 railway operating companies indicates that job demand, work shift, work environment and stressors have significant effect on their health, among which stressors is a major factor. In the respect of moderating effect, WLB showed no significance except for job demand. This result implies that controller's health can not be enhanced through their individual family or leisure life. Therefore, effective countermeasures and policy to mitigate their health problems and heal their symptoms are urgent.

With digitalization accelerated by the 4th industrial revolution, the marine traffic environment is also expected to change rapidly. The purpose of this study was to derive a new service for Aids to Navigation (AtoN) to respond to a new marine traffic environment and suggest service requirements from the perspective of the ship's operator. For this purpose, a survey of ship operators was conducted and IPA analysis was performed. Marine traffic intelligence and information services and Image-based ocean environment information services were deduced as high-priority services from the perspective of ship operators. Thus, the derived results can serve as basic data for developing new AtoN services and determining policy directions.
