공동주택 욕실 배수배관 자재 구성에 따른 양변기 배수소음 저감 특성 (Characteristics of Reducing the Water-drainage Noise of Toilet-bowl According to the Composition of Water Drainage Piping Materials of the Bathrooms of Apartment Housing)

  • Water supply and drainage noise in the bathroom is recognized as one of the main noises, along with the floor-impact sounds, in apartment housings. Recently, to solve such noise issues, a new construction method of installing the piping on the slab has been adopted. rather than the traditional method of penetrating the piping through the slab between the upper and the lower bathrooms. However, this new method has limitations due to high costs and constructional difficulties. Therefore, this study was conducted to develop noise reducing piping and elbows, where the noise can be reduced simply by replacing the existing pipings. The noise level was measured in a laboratory by installing the horizontal drainage piping (three types) and the elbows (three types) developed in this study. The results showed that the horizontal pipings reduced the noise level in LAmax by 0.3 dB(A)~1.0 dB(A), as compared to the existing pipings (VG2), indicating an insignificant noise reduction effect. The elbow reduced the noise level in LAmax by 5.5 dB(A) ~ 11.5 dB(A), as compared to the existing elbow (DRF elbow), with the result of reducing the noise level at all frequencies evenly. Consequently, it was shown that using the elbows is more effective in reducing the water-drainage noise from the toilet than using the horizontal pipings.

  • Increase in population and its daily increasing in our today society results in an increase in housing demand while traditional methods are not applicable. The project preparation and realization processes, based on theoretical and empirical studies, a creation of goods, services, and technologies, are the most important human activities. Selection of effective technological systems in construction is a complex multi-criteria decision-making task. Many decision-makers refuse innovations once faced with similar difficulties. Therefore, using modern materials and methods in this industry is necessary. Modern methods increase quality and construction speed in addition to decrease energy consumption and costs. One of the problems in the way of any project is selecting construction system compatible with the project needs and characteristics. In the present research, different concrete structures such as common reinforced concrete (RC) structure, prefabricated, Insulating Concrete Formwork (ICF), 3D Panel and Tunnel Concrete Formwork (TCF) for buildings with limited floors in Iran are studied and compared from the viewpoint of different criteria like cost, time, applicability and technical characteristics with industrialization approach. Therefore, some questionnaires filled out by construction industry experts in order to compare criteria and sub-criteria in addition to evaluation of optimized structural systems. Then, results of the questionnaires ranked by Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) and the most effective alternative selected. The AHP results show that 3D Panel system 36.5%, ICF 21.7%, TCF 19.03%, prefabricated system 13.3% and common RC system 9.3% are the most and the least efficient systems respectively.

생태 공간 조성에 관한 기초 연구 -고령자를 대상으로 한 열환경 연구- (Basic Study on Creating Ecological Residence Space - A thermal environment study of the aged -)

  • Creating standards on thermal environment has been organized traditionally based on the youth and the manhood who are in mainly active layer of a society. However, traditional creating standards have differences from the physiology of the aged who have weak physical ability than younger person. As a result, it causes a health problem of the aged. Therefore, In this study, we had a basic study to create a comfortable thermal environment which had considered to a physical ability and a physiology of the aged, and build a ecological residence space to maintain health. We had several experiments with the aged; Experiment, Comfort Sensation Vote, Mean Skin Temperature and Analyzing HRV. The result have following by: 1)For the aged, the summer recommend temperature, $26^{\circ}C$, is appropriate within first 30 ~ 40 minutes, but it should be increasing the temperature after that time. 2) By considering PMV status and thermal feeling of the aged, they are prefer to higher temperature than normal setting of air-condition system. 3) In the condition of the summer recommend temperature, $26^{\circ}C$, they had answered in neutral or comfort with the comfort sensation vote. However, we had figure out that they had stress in a lower temperature by analyzing the result of HRV.

Dimensions of Experiential Value: Is it the same across Retail Channels?

  • Purpose: While empirical importance of dimensionality of perceived value is widely accepted, our understanding of experiential value dimensions in other retail channels and other cultures has not been explicitly tested. This study attempted to determine if the dimensions of experiential value scale (EVS) by Mathwick, Malhotra, and Rigdon (2001) identified in US catalog and Internet contexts could be applied in other international markets (South Korea) and in other retail channels (department store versus Internet shopping mall). Methodology/Approach: Two data sets, one from 220 department store shoppers and the other from 359 Internet shopping mall shoppers, were analyzed. Findings: Confirmatory factor analysis confirmed four different EVS dimensions by retail channels. Overall, entertainment and intrinsic enjoyment values were found to be more important in department store while economic and efficiency value dimensions were interpreted critical in Internet shopping mall context. Visual appeal aspect constitutes distinct value dimension in two channels. Practical Implications: One separate dimension of time efficiency in Internet shopping mall suggests that more efficient web design and functions that can save time and promote convenience are needed to better accommodate their customers. Internet has heavily relied on traditional attributes, such as factual information, price comparability, and brand name reliance. However, this study suggests that Internet shopping mall retailer should offer visual diversion and stimulation just as brick and mortar shopping malls do. Originality /Value of Paper: Although the research findings must be viewed as tentative because the results are from one country, they provide a rich basis for further understanding the dimensions of experiential value in other international markets and other retail channels. 파리시 도시지역계획의 지속가능한 개발 핵심전략으로서 '전통수복정책' 연구 (Study on the Policy for the Preservation of Tradition in Paris as a Major Element of Sustainable Development)

  • France is known to be making particular efforts to maintain its traditional urban architectural culture by diverse measures including the implementation of urban policies. However, France is facing up to the need to pursue modern urbanization in keeping with the requirements of the current times. Thus, this paper examines with what priority France is attempting to reflect in its current urban policies its determination to retain its urban architectural tradition and to recreate its capital city of Paris as a future European hub city. To that end, the paper first seeks to analyze Paris' policies for urban architecture from diachronic perspectives in a bid to determine Paris' urban architectural culture. Second, the study attempts to examine within the purview of the paradigm of contemporary urban architectural designs how Paris is pursuing the two conflicting purposes of the preservation of tradition and modern urbanization through the Paris Local Urbanization Plan (or Plan Local d'Urbanisme [PLU]). First, the findings indicate that Paris is applying the principle of a sustainable development plan in all fields of environment, economy and society. In terms of environmental sustainability, Paris is trying to improve the life quality of its citizens through the establishment of efficient mass transportation systems and the expansion of its green belt areas. In terms of social sustainability, Paris is implementing policies to ensure social diversity through housing policies. Also, in terms of economic sustainability, Paris is trying to expand employment and bolster its urban functions by conserving commercial activities and developing peripheral urban areas. Second, the findings indicate that Paris' policy of recovering its traditions takes priority over that of creating a sustainable city.

독일 루르지역의 도시재생정책: 오버하우젠시와 겔젠키르헨시를 사례로 (Urban Revitalization Policies of the Ruhr Area, Germany: Case Studies on the Cities of Oberhausen and Gelsenkirchen)

  • 독일 북서부에 위치한 루르지역은 1850년대부터 석탄이 채굴되면서 석탄광업과 제철공업을 중심으로 유럽 최대의 공업지역으로 발전하였다. 그러나 1950년대에 접어들면서 에너지원으로써 유류(Oil)에 비해 석탄의 가격과 품질 경쟁력이 떨어졌고 개발도상국의 부상에 따라 이 지역의 석탄광업과 제철공업이 쇠퇴하기 시작하였다. 1970년대 부터 석탄광구와 제철공장이 하나씩 폐쇄되기 시작하여 도심에 조성된 많은 공업용지가 유휴화 되었고 실업자도 크게 늘어 심각한 경제위기에 직면하였다. 루르지역의 전형적인 공업도시라 할 수 있는 오버하우젠(Oberhausen)시는 이러한 문제에 당면하여 대규모 제철공장부지를 정화하여 거대한 쇼핑몰과 여가산업지구를 조성하였고, 겔젠키르헨(Gelsenkirhen)시는 석탄광업지구를 정화하여 태양광 산업을 중심으로 신재생에너지 산업단지와 친환경 주택단지를 조성하였다. 본 연구는 경로의존론(Path Dependence Theory)에 입각하여 이 두 도시가 추진한 도시재생정책의 집행과정과 결과를 분석하고, 이론적, 정책적 시사점을 도출하였다.

아파트 옥외공간 차별화 요소에 대한 주민 만족도 분석에 관한 연구 (A Study on Residents' Satisfaction Degree of Differentiated Elements in Outdoor Space of Apartment Housing)

  • The purpose of this research is to help outdoor space planning reflected real needs of apartment residents in the differentiation elements of outdoor space, by using USC trade-off game in three apartment complexes in Seoul. This game method was used to evaluate their preference, reliability of preference degree, satisfaction degree, requirement elements such as improvement, sacrifice, maintenance of present condition, and payment possibility for improving and maintaining present condition, in addition to their preference and payment possibility of differentiation of outdoor space in the apartment complex in the future. From the statical analysis, we found the following results: 1. Reliability of preference degree was valid, inasmuch as the first elements they preferred were the almost same as the last things. 2. Elements of preference were pedestrian ways, pedestrian security facilities, various athletic facilities, and variety and high-class facilities in a play ground. 3. Satisfaction degree of differentiation elements of outdoor space was low not only in total complexes but also in each complex. As a result of analysis, these elements were not satisfied with residents. 4. Most of the differentiation elements of outdoor space in three apartment complexes, except planting traditional trees, were required to improve and maintain present condition. The cost to improve and maintain these elements able to pay by them was about 2.18 million won. Through this result, these elements were not options but prerequisites for planning outdoor space in apartment complexes. 5. In the future preference elements of differentiation of outdoor space in apartment complexes were pedestrian and jogging ways, places with water, various athletic places and facilities, multi-function resting places, green spaces in experiences, pedestrian security facilities, various athletic facilities, variety and high-class facilities in a play ground, and payment possibility for these elements was about 3.20 million won.

일본 공동체복합지원시설의 복합화 유형에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Complex type Japan Community Mixed-support Facility and space Characteristic)

  • The community mixed-support facility in Japan is making efforts to try various approaches according to the changes made to allow the privatization of public facilities on the basis of Act on Special Measures for Urban Regeneration since 2004. Due to this change in policy, the community mixed-support facility is now taking further steps in trying to implement variety of approaches in the perspective of urban regeneration and urban maintenance and at the same time the trend of installation of community facility has gone through vivid changes for the last 20 years. The causes of this are from the social demand that claims for of new facilities and the change in the subsidy system in relation to equality in facility installation. Examples of the first cause can be the building of perpetuating educational society, an execution or a movement towards the society of gender equality, a countermovement for an aging society as well as a welfare society, and recently social phenomenon related to consumption is becoming an issue. And for the last, the number of construction of facilities is increasing that grow out of the traditional facility system. The complex of community mixed-support facility will provide public administrative and community mixed-support services to local people as well as to form a notion of community and a feeling of solidarity. Ultimately, this will develop local areas by regional interchanging of information. In this very research, we will analyze the community mixed-support facility and its characteristics as well as its implications and consider the types of complex through many preceding instances in Japanese community mixed-support facility.

현풍군 근대 농가(農家)의 건축적 변용에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Architectural Change of Traditional Farmhouse in Hyounpong Province)

  • Residential architecture was a lot more changed due to adopting modern residential type since 1960s. But people in farm houses are still living in a space of their past life causing a discrepancy. For this reason, the paper will identify the changed use for farm houses focusing on their plane views, and reason for the changed use as well. The result of this paper is expected to play a role for practical data to reasonably change and re-model farm houses located in back of cities such as Hyunpoong area. Targeted area for this paper, in order to survey change in residential environment due to industrialization and modernization, has narrowed down to 42 farm houses which are located Yuga-Myun, Hyunpoong-Gun, Dalsung-Gun where tradition and modern characteristics are harmonized being built before 1960s Researching relied on both documentary records and survey on the site, and survey on documentary records was performed in a way that preceding research for changed use of residential area was to be compared with people's farm houses in Kyeongsang-Do area, and survey on the site was carried out by photographing and land surveying and interview and analysis for them, and finally we acquired the result by analyzing use of interior for houses and plane view and relations between culture and social environment. From the result of this paper, there was a trend that farm houses had been improved function of a specific space by enlarging space and enlarged construction for inner rooms. And among spaces, kitchen and bath room was mostly enlarged its left side, and inner room had mostly enlarged its rear side, and kitchen was frequently enlarged in its side space. These kinds of variation in space is believed to be result of change of life style and house facilities

Tier 3 방식에 의거한 지목별 온실가스 배출 실태평가 (Evaluating Carbon Dioxide Emission from Cadastral Category based on Tier 3 Approach)

  • 이산화탄소의 배출량을 산정하는 방식은 주로 제련소, 화력발전소 등 제조공정에서 소비되는 에너지 통계에 의거하여 배출량을 추정하는 방식으로 이루어지고 있다. 본 연구는 지목이 토지이용패턴에 따라 다르게 배출되는 이산화탄소를 감시하기 위한 지표로 활용될 수 있는지를 평가하고자 수행되었다. 그리하여 사례 연구지역에서 이산화탄소 배출량을 측정하여 토지이용의 관점에서 지목별 변화 추세에 대한 평가가 이루어졌다. 정부통계에만 의존하는 간접추계 방식과 달리 지목 기반의 평가는 광역적인 이산화탄소 농도의 분포실태를 단시간에 제시하였다. 특히 대지 등 비자연적인 지목에서 높은 수치를 보여주었다. 반면, 임야 등 흡수원으로 특성을 지닌 지목은 전체적으로 배출원에 비해 낮은 수치를 보여주었다. 본 연구의 가장 큰 성과는 지목별 이산화탄소 배출량 변화 실태를 정량적으로 제시하고 있기 때문에 각종 개발사업의 계획단계부터 배출원과 흡수원을 지정하고 관리함에 있어 지목에 의거 도로 건설 등 저탄소 도시에 부정적인 영향을 미치는 개발사업을 규제하는 과정에서 온실가스 배출을 최소화하기 위한 지표로서 설득력을 지닌 근거자료로 지목의 가능성을 보여주었다. 본 연구의 가장 큰 성과는 "지목 기반의 이산화탄소 배출 감시"라는 새로운 개념을 제시하였다는 데 있을 것이다.
