Since 1989, 9 major complex have been invested with government funds, for the purpose of developing agricultural tourism to increase agricultural income and job opportunity, as well as providing urban population leisure opportunity. However, systematic and comprehensive approaches were rarely done in analyzing its economic impacts. This study, therefore, focuses on analyzing tourism effect and its economic value and implication for a representative rural tourism site,"Daeho rural tourism complex". To analyze travel pattern, expenditure pattern, and degree of satisfaction from travel to Daeho complex, Travel Cost Method(TCM) was employed based on survey method. Results from linear model with statistical significance implies that tourism benefit for each visitor is 28,373 won and total annual benefit for the Daeho site is 7 billion won. Considering annual benefit stream, the present value of total benefits are 132.9 billion won and 70 billion won at 5% and 10% of discounting rate, respectively. Using the values of benefit estimated from this study and investment cost, B/C ratio, IRR, and NPV were calculated to be 1.01, 1.67 billion won, and 5.19% at 5% of discounting rate. These results could be directly compared with the previous analyses.

Understanding success factors in electronic banking is important to helping banks succeed. In this study, we extend DeLone and McLean's IS success model to the electronic banking by adding trust as a success variable. We tested the extended model by comparing internet banking and mobile banking in Indonesia. Using a structural equation modelling approach. We found that system quality had positive impacts on perceived usefulness and end-user satisfaction for both internet banking and mobile banking. The development of e-banking (internet banking and mobile banking) in Indonesia is in its initial stage. Finally, although we tested for the common method bias to relieve concern, further research may use multiple methods when collecting the data. This study investigated the role of each dimension of IS success in the electronic banking environment. While the original IS success model emphasizes individual and organizational impacts, we have argued that trust is an important indicator of IS impact on an individual socially in the banking industry. The contribution of our study is two-fold. Conceptually, the study is the first to extend the IS success model to the e-banking context. We provide an extension of the updated IS success model by adding trust as an outcome variable in the research model.

The new AI based conversational chatbot, ChatGPT, launched in November 2022, is causing a stir. There are many opinions about this being a 'threat or a promise,' and thus it is important to understand what has been said about this tool and, based on the growing literature that has emerged on the subject, demystify its effective impact on society. To analyse this impact, a systematic literature review with the support of the preferred reporting items for systematic reviews and meta-analysis protocol was used. The data, scientific documents, were collected using the main scientific databases - SCOPUS and Web of Science - and the results were presented based on a bibliometric and thematic exploration of content. The main findings indicate that people are increasingly using this chatbot in more diverse areas. Therefore, this study contributes at the practical level, aiming to enlighten people in general - both in professional and personal life - about this tool and its impacts. Also, it contributes at the theoretical level, which involves expanding understanding and elucidation of the impacts of ChatGPT in different areas of study.

스마트관광은 지역의 관광자원 활용을 극대화하고 도시를 효과적으로 관리하며 관광객과 주민 간의 소통과 삶의 질을 개선하는 데 기여한다. 따라서 스마트관광은 지역 간의 협력을 강조하며 스마트관광도시는 거주민과 관광객을 모두 고려하는 포괄적 관점에서의 연구가 필요하다. 이 연구에서는 지역 관광 경쟁력 제고를 위한 스마트관광과 지역 간의 상호작용 및 역할에 대해 논의하고자 하였다. 특히, 스마트관광도시의 구성요소인 스마트관광 4대 요소(스마트 경험, 스마트 편의, 스마트 접근성, 스마트 플랫폼)를 지역민, 지역상권, 지역자원, 지역생태계와 접목하여 긍정적 시너지를 위해서 어떻게, 왜 라는 관점에서 서비스 구축 단계부터 활성화 단계까지 심층적으로 살펴보였다. 이를 위해 대한민국 제1호 인천 스마트관광도시 사례를 대상으로 단일 사례 연구 디자인 방법을 채택하였다. 연구결과 지역과의 협력적 스마트관광도시 모델은 서비스 만족도를 높이며 지역 관광 경쟁력을 강화하는 긍정적인 효과를 나타냈다. 특히, 스마트관광도시의 다양한 구성 요소들이 지역사회와 상호작용하여 새로운 가치를 창출하였으며 이는 방문객 증대와 도시 브랜딩 강화로 이어지는 결과를 보였다. 이러한 결과를 토대로 본 연구는 스마트관광도시 발전 방향을 제시하고 스마트 기술과 지역관광의 융합으로 인한 지역 경쟁력 강화 연구로써 기여할 것으로 기대한다.

This paper has two purposes. The first is to suggest the new and simple method to derive a regional input-output model from the national input-output table published by the Bank of Korea. The interregional input-output table has not been devised in spite of its potential use while the national table has been made every five years with the revised version during each five years. Second, this paper aims to derive Kangwon interregional input-output model from the national model using the regional supply proportion of industry and to analyze the effect of medical tourism industry on the regional economy of Kangwon Province. The paper measures, in particular, the effect of medical tourism industry on the financial self-sufficiency of Kangwon Province using the estimated output elasticity of tax revenue with the autoregressive distributed lag scheme ADL(1,1) in which the dependent variable and the single explanatory variable are each lagged once.

본 연구에서는 관광통행에서 관광 BIS 융합정보가 제공될 때 버스선택 선호도에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 버스선택 선호도는 설문조사를 통하여 수행하고 순차형 로짓 모형으로 영향을 추정하였다. 그 결과, BIS를 모바일로 이용하는 경우, 최근 1년 이내 관광지 경험이 있는 경우, 버스정보이용료 지불의사액을 높게 평가한 경우, 월평균소득이 많은 경우, 연령층이 20대미만인 경우에 관광 레저 통행시 버스를 선택할 의사가 적극적인 것으로 나타났다. 반면, 평소 승용차를 주로 이용하는 경우와 승용차를 소유한 경우에는 버스를 적극적으로 이용할 의사가 낮은 것으로 분석되었다.

During the past two decades, the Southeast Asian region has experienced a range of major crises. Service industries such as tourism and the marginal and migrant laborers who work in them have usually been at the sharp end of these testing events, from natural and environmental disasters, epidemics and pandemics, global financial slumps, terrorism, and political conflict. The latest challenge is the "Novel Coronavirus" (Covid-19/SARS-CoV-2) pandemic. It has already had serious consequences for Southeast Asia and its tourism development and these will continue for the foreseeable future. Since the SARS epidemic of 2002-2004, Southeast Asian economies have become integrated increasingly into those of East Asia (China, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong). This paper examines one of the most significant current crises, Covid-19, and its consequences for Southeast Asia, its tourism industry, and its workers, comparing experiences across the region, and the issues raised by the over-dependence of some countries on East Asia. In research on crises, the main focus has been on dramatic, unpredictable natural disasters, and human-generated global economic downturns. Not so much attention has been devoted to disease and contagion, which has both natural and socio-cultural dimensions in origins and effects, and which, in the case of Covid-19, evoke a pre-crisis period of normality, a liminal transition or "meantime" and a post-crisis "new normality." The transition is not straightforward; in many countries, it operates as a set of serial lockdowns and restrictions, and to predict an uncertain future remains difficult.

연구는 중국을 방문하는 한국인 관광객들의 중국에 대한 친숙도가 관광지로서 중국에 대한 선호도, 위험지각, 중국 방문시 선호하는 관광활동에 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. 본 연구에서 제시한 연구과제들을 검증하기 위해 중국으로 여행을 떠나기 전 인천국제공항에서 대기하고 있던 한국인 관광객들을 대상으로 설문을 진행하였다. 설문조사 결과 총305개의 유효한 설문지가 최종적으로 수집되었다. 분석 결과에 따르면, 중국에 대한 친숙도는 관광지로서 중국에 대한 선호도에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 친숙도는 중국에 대한 일부 위험지각영역과 부정적인 관계를 가지는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로, 친숙도는 중국 방문시 선호하는 관광활동 중 역사 자연지역 방문과 영향관계에 있는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 본 연구의 결과는 친숙도가 관광객들의 다른 지각변수들을 이해하기 위한 중요요인이라는 점을 입증하고 있다.

본 연구에서는 신생축제가 지역과 관광의 상생적이고 내발적인 관계가 형성되고 있는지에 대해 밝혀내고자 하였다. 이를 위해 축제에 대한 관여도 및 지역에 대한 애착도를 지역축제로 인한 영향인식과 만족도와의 인과관계를 증명하고자 하였다. 연구결과 축제관여도와 영향인식과의 관계에서는 양의 상관관계를 보이는 반면 장소애착도와 영향인식과의 관계에서는 음의 상관관계를 보여주는 것을 밝혀냄으로서 신생 축제에 대한 정책적 시사점을 던져주고 있다. 즉, 지역축제 자체가 삶을 영위함에 있어서 중요한 부분을 차지하는 지역주민들은 축제가 대외이미지 향상과 여가편익에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 인식하고 있다. 반면 서울에 대한 장소애착도가 높을수록 신생축제인 하이서울페스티벌에 대해 오히려 부정적인영향을 미친다고 인식하거나 만족하지 못하는 것으로 나타나고 있었다. 따라서 축제가 지역에 천착하기 위해서는 지속적으로 지역과 소통하는 노력과 장소성을 높이기 위한 노력이 요구됨을 제시하고 있다.

생태관광은 기존의 대량관광의 폐해와 환경문제의 갈등으로부터 탄생된 대안관광의 한 형태로서 환경, 경제, 교육, 문화 등의 요소들을 광범위하게 포함한다. 생태관광은 자연환경 지역에서 자원의 보호, 보존, 지역경제의 활성화, 수준 높은 관광서비스 제공을 통하여 지속 가능한 개발을 구현할 수 있는 환경친화적인 관광으로 정의할 수 있다. 친환경적인 관광산업으로서 생태관광은 지역환경 개선 및 소득증대 효과를 통한 농, 어촌지역의 활성화 수단으로서 또한 도시민들에게 양질의 관광, 휴양기회를 제공함으로써 국민의 여가욕구를 충족시켜줄 수 있는 공간으로서의 역할을 기대할 수 있다. 이에 본 연구는 생태관광 이론적 고찰을 통해 생태관광 개념을 정리하고 이를 바탕으로 우리 나라 농, 어촌지역의 생태관광지 개발에 적합한 계획모형을 제시하였다. 이와 함께 전라남도 완도군 정도리지역에 계획모형을 적용하는 사례연구를 수행하였다. 사례연구를 통해 본 생태관광 계획모형은 농, 어촌지역의 생태관광지 조성에 있어 실제적인 계획과정으로서 가능성을 보였다.
