브레이크 게인 적응기법을 이용한 종방향 타이어 힘의 실시간 추정 (Tractive Force Estimation in Real-time Using Brake Gain Adaptation)

  • This paper includes real-time tractive force estimation method using standard vehicle sensors such as wheel speed, brake pressure, throttle position, engine speed, and transmission carrier speed sensor. Engine map, torque converter lookup table, shaft torque observer, and brake gain adaptation method are used to estimate the tractive force. To verify this estimator, measurement which uses strain-based brake torque sensor and estimation results are presented. All results was performed using a real vehicle in a real-time.

  • Currently, there are various robot programming methods for articulated robots. Although each method has merits and drawbacks, they have commonly weak points for practical application, and especially the weak point can be even more vulnerable when the robot programming requires the subtle feelings of human being. This is because the movement of a human being is synthetic while the robot programming is analytic. Therefore, the present method of programming has limits in performing these kinds of subtle robot movement. In this paper, we propose a direct robot programming method, which generates robot programs based on the force/torque vector applied to a force/torque sensor by the human operator. The method reduces the effort required in the robot programming.

병렬판구조를 이용한 소형 6축 힘/토크센서의 설계 및 특성평가 (Design and evaluation of small size six-axis force/torque sensor using parallel plate sturcture)

  • This paper describes the design processes and evaluation results of a small-sized six-axis force/torque sensor. The new six-axis force/torque sensor including S-type structure has been developed using a parallel plate structure as a basic sensing element. In order tominimize coupling errors, the location of strain gages has been determined based on the finite element analysis and the connections of strain gages have been made such that the bridge circuit with 4 strain gages becomes balanced. Several design modifications result in a similar strain sensitivity for six-axis forces and moments, and the reduced coupling errors of 2.6% FS between each forces and moments. Calibration test results show that the six-axis load cell developed which has light weight of 135g and the maximum capacities of 196 N in forces and 19.6 N.m in moments is estimated to be within 7.1% FS in coupling error.

토크센서를 이용한 CMG의 지상 시뮬레이터 개발 (Development of CMG Ground Simulator using Torque Sensor)

  • CMG는 3축으로 토크를 발생시키기 위해 클러스터로 구성하여 사용할 수 있다. CMG 클러스터에서 발생되는 여러 가지 설계에 고려되어야 할 문제들이 있다. 이러한 문제들을 지상에서 미리 검증하는 것이 필수적이다. 따라서 본 논문에서 토크센서로 위성자세를 계산하는 CMG 시뮬레이터를 제안하였다. 개발과정에서 발생한 김발각문제 해결을 위해 보정방법과 칼만필터가 제시되었다. 보정방법은 계산된 김발각을 기본으로 사용하고 센서 값을 보조로 사용해서 오차를 줄인다. 또한 개발된 CMG 시뮬레이터를 이용하여 특이점 회피를 위한 구동법칙과 자세제어 로직 시험결과도 예로서 제시되었다.

  • 본 논문은 사람의 근육에서 발생하는 근전위 신호를 사용하여 2 자유도를 갖는 전동의수를 구동하기 위한 제어시스템을 제안한다. 근전위 신호를 측정하기 위한 표면 근전위 센서는 근전위 신호의 출력 특성을 이용하여 근전위 센서의 입력부와 회로부를 설계한다. 제어시스템은 전동의수를 구동하기 위하여 두 개의 제어기와 전동의수의 파지력을 측정하기 위한 파지력 센서와 파지한 물체의 미끌림을 감지하기 위한 미끌림 센서로 구성되어 있다. 가상의 근전위 신호를 이용한 실험과 정상인의 실험을 통하여 제안된 제어시스템의 신뢰성을 검증하였다.

  • EPS(Electric Power Steering) systems have many advantages over traditional hydraulic power steering systems in space efficiency engine efficiency and environmental compatibility. In this paper an EPS system control logic using a torque map is proposed. The main function of the EPS system is to reduce the steering torque exerted by a driver by assist of an electric motor. Vehcile speed steering torque and steering wheel angle are measured and fed back to the EPS control system where appropriate assist torque is generated to assist the operator's steering effort. Another capability of the EPS system for easy adaptation to different steering feels via simple tuning is demonstrated by the experiments. It will be also verified that the EPS system can also improve damping and return performance of the steering wheel by control of the assist motor.

  • Lately, as going on increasing in the demand of high power density(power/weight), it is necessary for hydraulic axial piston pump/motor to operate more high pressure and speed. But in these condition, there are some trouble like as friction loss. To reduce this friction loss, hydrostatic bearing is used far axial piston pump/motor frequently. In general, it is difficult to measure accurate friction torque of spherical hydrostatic bearing in the use of the existing devices. So, we have developed the measurement device using the reaction torque sensor to obtain the pure friction torque, fitted in the casing. In this report, we intend to make an introduction about this measurement device for friction torque of the spherical wear part and clarify the effect of friction characteristics on supply pressure and rotational speed with three types of pocket size by using this measurement device.

Novel Position Controller for PMSM Based on State Feedback and Load Torque Feed-Forward

  • In this paper, a novel position controller based on state feedback and feed-forward is proposed. Traditional position and speed controllers are replaced by a single controller with the position and speed as state feedbacks, and the position command and load torque as feed-forwards. The feedback and feed-forward gains are obtained by analytic modeling and design. The load torque, rotor speed and position are estimated by an observer based on a Kalman filter (KF) with a low resolution mechanical position sensor. Feed-forward compensation by an estimated load torque is used to improve the dynamic performance during load torque changes.

  • The purpose of this study is to evaluate the possibility of identifying joint damping property through commercially available isokinetic ergometer (BIODEX). The proposed method is to estimate the damping torque of the knee joint from the difference between the external joint torque for maintaining isokinetic movement and the gravity torque of the lower leg. The damping torque was estimated at various joint angular velocities, from which the damping property would be derived. Measurement setup was composed of the BIODEX system with an external force sensor and Labview system. Matlab was used in the analysis of the damping property. The experimental result showed that the small variation in angular velocity due to acceleration and deceleration of the crank arm resulted in greater change of inertial torque than the damping torque, so that the estimation of damping property from the isokinetic movement is difficult.

  • This paper describes a model reference adaptive system(MRAS) for speed control of vector-controlled induction motor without a speed sensor. The proposed approach is based on observing the instantaneous torque. The real torque is calculated by sensing stator current and estimated torque is calculated by stator current that is calculated by using estimated rotor speed. The speed estimation error is linearly proportional to error between real torque and estimated torque. The proposed feedback loop has linear component. Furthermore proposed method is robust to parameters variation. The effectiveness is verified by equation and simulation
