A Development of Trend Analysis Models and a Process Integrating with GIS for Industrial Water Consumption Using Realtime Sensing Data (실시간 공업용수 추세패턴 모형개발 및 GIS 연계방안)

  • The purpose of this study is to develop a series of trend analysis models for industrial water consumption and to propose a blueprint for the integration of the developed models with GIS. For the consumption data acquisition, a real-time sensing technique was adopted. Data were transformed from the field equipments to the management server in every 5 minutes. The data acquired were substituted to a polynomial formula selected. As a result, a series of models were developed for the consumption of each day. A series of validation processes were applied to the developed models and the models were finalized. Then the finalized models were transformed to the average models representing a day's average consumption or an average daily consumption of each month. Demand pattern analyses were fulfilled through the visualization of the finally derived models. It has founded out that the demand patterns show great consistency and, therefore, it is concluded that high probability of demand forecasting for a day or for a season is available. Also proposed is the integration with GIS as an IT tool by which the developed forecasting models are utilized.

  • As mobile terminal environment gets matured, the use of Android platform based mobile terminals has been growing high. Recently, the number of attacks by malicious application is also increasing as Android platform is vulnerable to private information leakage in nature. Most of these malicious applications are easily distributed to general users through open market or internet and an attacker inserts malicious code into malicious app which could be harmful tool to steal private data and banking data such as SMS, contacts list, and public key certificate to a remote server. To cope with these security threats more actively, it is necessary to develop countermeasure system that enables to detect security vulnerability existing in mobile device and take an appropriate action to protect the system against malicious attacks. In this sense, this paper aggregates diverse system events from multiple mobile devices and also implements a system to detect attacks by malicious application.

  • In the current wireless Internet environment, using a mobile device to quickly access a web site is closely related to measuring the performance of a website. When accessing a website, the user has a long time to access the website and has no access to the website.In this case, the performance of the web site should be improved by measuring and analyzing the performance of the connection delay due to a problem of the web site.Among the performance measurement factors of Web sites, Web page loading time is a very important factor for a successful service business in the situation where most of e-commerce business is being developed as a web-based service.An open source tool was analyzed to analyze the performance of the e-commerce web page to present problems, software optimization methods and hardware optimization methods. Applying two optimization methods to suit the environment will enable stable and e-commerce websites.

  • It is growing to use the E-Commerce, recently However, if a cracking tool that detects e keyboard input is set up, users' input values and personal information could be taken away. This paper shows the design and implementation of security system that prevent the keyboard input information leaking. The ideas of thus paper are encrypting the keyboard input values with using the keyboard interrupt hooking, the browser embedding program's decrypting the values in case of need and decrypting all values in the web server. The own input control was developed for direct attacks to the browser, and that the values of password fields which are showed as *(asterisk character) won't be decrypted in the client PC is different from other commercial keyboard input security systems. Consequently, this paper shows the chance of realizing a lot safer customer information protective system than before.

  • The purpose of this study was to quickly and effectively identify the Nosema disease of bumblebees in Gangwon Province in Korea. Bumblebees are crucial pollinators of various crops, and microsporidia are the critical pathogens of these hosts. When bumblebees are infected with Nosema bombi, their abdomens can become distended. Paralyzed and infected workers often become sluggish and die early. We have identified the morphology of the microsporidium by light and electron microscopy, and found it to have fairly small oval spores, as has been described previously in many other articles. For the specific and sensitive diagnosis of the microsporidian parasite N. bombi in bumblebees, we have developed an improved method of the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) for expeditious diagnosis. Two pairs of primers were tested on N. bombi and the related microsporidia Nosema apis and Nosema sp., both of which infect Bombus ignitus and Bombus hypocrita sapporoensis. Furthermore, we have verified and analyzed the 16SrRNA sequence data of N. bombi in bumblebees by using the Basic Local Alignment Search Tool (BLAST) server at the National Center for Biotechnology Information.

  • The purpose of this paper is to discuss the design and implementation of a WCBT(Web and Computer based Test). The WCBT combines the strengths of both a WBT(Web-based test) and a CBT(Computer-based test) on the basis of efficiency and stability. The current assessment system, considered an important management tool in the construction and operation of a total management system for the national technical qualification, has some unstable elements with regard to system load and stability. The proposed system's technological aspects have been tested through a basic simulation pilot program. The pilot program will be expanded to include the local Chamber of Commerce and Industry because the stability of the system was proved through its application to the real-time national technical examination of KCCI (Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry). The WCBT system has shown great efficiency in terms of system load, and has solved frequent communication problems which have occurred through the use of foreign qualifying examinations. The server and client systems of the WCBT have been given good evaluations with regard to the convenience of their use and the management system for operators and supervisors.

A Compatibility Assessment and Verification of Suitable to DICOM of PACS DATA CD : Current Situation Investigation of Korea (PACS DATA CD의 호환성 평가 및 DICOM 적합성에 대한 검증을 통한 기준 제시)

  • Purpose To analyze the input and output error of data CD which records the image information and the problems of the server of the compatibility. And to report a compatibility assessment and verification of suitable to DICOM of PACS data CD with investigation of current situation of Korea METHOD AND MATERIALS Date CD of each 8 vendors in 30 hospitals was analyzed. We grasped a main verification element existence of a generation compatibility of data CD. The items of element are media identification, DICOM compression, DICOM viewer send, specified object information modify, auto-run, DICOM content type, etc, and give 1 point for each item. We divided the assessment about an each item into 5 levels. Verification about. DICOM conformance by using DICOM validation tool kit is shown to be classified pass or fail according to error occurrence of tag valus. Classify the prequency of tag occurrence as the item. RESULTS The average point of date CD compatibility is 8 point (very good), lowest is 5 point (6.6%), and highest is 10 point (23%_. Most high occurrence frequency's distribution is 7 point (36.6%). As a result of verification about DICOM conformance, PASS in 8 occurrence frequency's distribution is 7 point (36.6%). As a result of verification about DICOM maximum length numbers (14 items), DICOM error of modality (10 items), discord of pixel data length (6 items). etc.

  • Remote user authentication scheme is a cryptographic tool which permits a server to identify a remote user. In 2007, Wang et al. pointed out that Ku's remote user authentication scheme is vulnerable to a dictionary attack by obtaining some secret information in a smart card using side channel attacks. They also proposed a remote user authentication scheme which is secure against dictionary attack. In this paper, we analyze the protocol proposed by Wang et al. In the paper, it is claimed that the protocol is secure even though some values, which is stored in a smart card, are revealed to an adversary, However, we show that their protocol is insecure if the values are disclosed to an adversary.

  • In this paper, we propose an accident-prevention smart monitoring system for Haenyeo(Woman diver) using Zigbee module and GPS sensor. This system can collect such information as the diving location, the body temperature, the depth of diving, and the diving time of a Woman diver working under the water and then respond immediately to an accident occurring. The research developed a smart Teawak and smart swimming goggles which can measure the state of a Woman diver and her diving activities. Smart Teawak, the buoy tool while a Woman diver is collecting seafoods under water, is able to receive GPS and transmit the data from smart swimming goggles and Zigbee Module to IHSS(IoT based Haenyeo Safety service Software) server. In addition, IHSS, a responsive web, provides the diving location and the state of a Woman diver on the smart phone. As a result, the system will be useful in the aspects of Woman diver' health care and the safety, furthermore, which will significantly contribute to global marketing of Woman diver with its being designated as a UNESCO intangible cultural asset.

  • The Spatial Database Engine(SDETM) developed by Environmental Systems Research Institute, Inc. is a spatial database that employs a client-server architecture incorporated with a set of software services to perform efficient spatial operations and to manage large, shared and geographic data sets. It currently supports a wide variety of spatial search methods and spatial relationships determined dynamically. Spatial objects in the space world can be changed by either non-spatial operations or spatial operations. Conventional geographical information systems(GISs) did not manage their historical information, however, because they handle the snapshot images of spatial objects in the world. In this paper we propose a spatio-temporal data model and an algorithm for temporal relationship macro which is able to manage and retrieve the historical information of spatial objects. The proposed spatio-temporal data model and its operations can be used as a software tool for history management of time-varying objects in database without any change.
