  • Here, the Fredholm integral equation with Hilbert kernel is solved numerically, using two different methods. Also the error, in each case, is estimated.

  • Truncated Hankel operators are compressions of classical Hankel operators to model spaces. In this paper we describe matrix representations of truncated Hankel operators on finite-dimensional model spaces. We then show that the obtained descriptions hold also for some infinite-dimensional cases.

  • We propose the methods to design the finite impulse response (FIR) and the infinite impulse response (IIR) lattice filters using Schur algorithm through the spectral factorization of the covariance matrix by circulant matrix factorization (CMF). Circulant matrix factorization is also very powerful tool used fur spectral factorization of the covariance polynomial in matrix domain to obtain the minimum phase polynomial without the polynomial root finding problem. Schur algorithm is the method for a fast Cholesky factorization of Toeplitz matrix, which easily determines the lattice filter parameters. Examples for the case of the FIR Inter and for the case of the IIR filter are included, and performance of our method check by comparing of our method and another methods (polynomial root finding and cepstral deconvolution).

  • The concepts of the numerical range of an operator on a Hillbert space and on a Banach space were introduced by Toeplitz in 1918 and Bauer in 1962 respectively. Bauer's paper was concerned only with finite dimensional Banach spaces, but the concept of numerical range that he introduced is available without restriction of the dimension [1, 2]. In this paper, we define a C-algebra spatial numerical range of an operator on C-algebra valued inner product modules introduced by Paschke [4], and give analogous results on these modules as those on Banach spaces.

  • In this study, we define r-circulant, circulant, Hankel and Toeplitz matrices involving the integer sequence with recurrence relation Un = pUn-1 + Un-2, with U0 = a, U1 = b. Moreover, we obtain special norms of above mentioned matrices. The results presented in this paper are generalizations of some of the results of [1, 10, 11].

  • Let S denote the class of analytic and univalent functions in the open unit disk $D=\{z:{\mid}z{\mid}<1\}$ with the normalization conditions f(0) = 0 and f'(0) = 1. In the present article, an upper bound for third order Hankel determinant $H_3(1)$ is obtained for a certain subclass of univalent functions generated by Ruscheweyh derivative operator.

  • The aim of this paper is to present the classical sets of sequences and related matrix transformations with respect to the b-metric. Also, we introduce the relationships between these sets and their classical forms with corresponding properties including convergence and completeness. Further we determine the duals of the new spaces and characterize matrix transformations on them into the sets of b-bounded, b-convergent and b-null sequences.
