밸런스 샤프트 적용에 따른 4기통 디젤 엔진 블록의 방사소음 특성 개선 해석 (The Analysis of NVH Characteristics of 4-Cylinerder Diesel Engine Block by Adapting Balancing Shaft)

  • The powertrain is an important factor for the interior and exterior noise behavior of the vehicle Thus, the noise vibration and harshness(NVH) behavior of an engine is becoming a major target of the powertrain development. This paper describes the analyses with the aim to reduce the vibration and noise of an advanced inline 4-cylinder diesel engine block by use of CAE methods. The characteristics of an engine block as a main excitation source of car interior noise is studied. Particularly, The effect of balance shaft to reduce the 2nd order engine excitation force is calculated by forced vibration and radiated noise analysis. The engine exitation forces are obtained under real operating conditions. It is shown that the reduction of vibration and noise level by adapting blancing shaft is well predicted and rediated noise is directly related to the surface velocity of engine block.

초소형자동차의 자동차안전기준에 대한 효과분석 (Assessment of Vehicle Safety Standard Requirements for New Micro-mobility Vehicle)

  • In general, an assessment of the benefits and costs with regard to vehicle safety standards are validated before regulations are implemented. This paper performs this validation for the mandatory automobile safety devices requirement for new micro-mobility. The reviewed car safety standards involved the installation of seat belts, airbags, ABS, crash speed standards, and pedestrian warning system. The benefit was estimated as the cost of accident reduction due to the installation of vehicle safety standards. As a result, the safety belt showed a B / C of 4.0 or higher, and it was found that the seat belt should be installed from 2017. After the seatbelt regulation in 2017, the results of the scenarios with the airbag, ABS, crash speed of 40 km/h, and the pedestrian warning system showed B / C of 1.0 or more according to the year of regulation. This study can be useful as a tool in the decision-making process with regard to the timing and type of vehicle safety standards requirement of micro-mobility in the future.

  • In a wireless sensor network(WSN) each sensor node deals with numerous sensing data elements. For the sake of energy efficiency and network lifetime, sensing data must be handled effectively. A technique used for this is data aggregation. Sending/receiving data involves numerous steps such as MAC layer control packet handshakes and route path setup, and these steps consume energy. Because these steps are involved in all data communication, the total cost increases are related to the counts of data sent/received. Therefore, many studies have proposed sending combined data, which is known as data aggregation. Very effective methods to aggregate sensing data have been suggested, but there is no means of deciding how long the sensor node should wait for aggregation. This is a very important issue, because the wait time affects the total communication cost and data reliability. There are two types of data aggregation; the data counting method and the time waiting method. However, each has weaknesses in terms of the delay. A hybrid method can be adopted to alleviate these problems. But, it cannot provide an optimal point of aggregation. In this paper, we suggest a stochastic-based data aggregation scheme, which provides the cost(in terms of communication and delay) optimal aggregation point. We present numerical analysis and results.

  • 단일 멀티미디어 컨텐츠 소스가 다양한 분산된 무선 디바이스에서 재생될 때, 오디오와 비디오 컨텐츠는 멀티 채널 스테레오 사운드와 립싱크 (lip-sync)를 위한 동시적인 플레이가 요구된다. 특히 차량 내의 멀티미디어 시스템은 기존의 유선 환경에서 최근 무선 환경으로의 이전에 대한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있는 상황이다. 이에 본 논문은 IEEE 802.11 WLANs [1] 환경에서 실시간으로 멀티미디어 트래픽을 전송하기위해 필요한 동기화된 서비스 제공을 목적으로 하는 동기화 알고리즘을 제안한다. 이를 위해 기존의 IEEE 1588 [2]을 개선한 새로운 알고리즘을 구현하고 무선 랜 (WLANs) 환경의 시뮬레이션 환경을 구축하여 그 성능을 평가, 분석한 후 실제 무선 디바이스 (링크시스 wrt-350n AP 네트워크 디바이스)에 이를 포팅 하여 디바이스 간의 동기화 정확도를 실험, 분석하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 155Mbps 급 ATM 고속위성 전송에 적합한 동기 요소기술을 제시하고 추적성능 개선을 위한 최적 알고리즘을 제안하였다. 이때 신호변조는 QPSK방식을 사용하였고 수신기는 버스트 모드로 동작함을 가정하였다. 이러한 점을 바탕으로 주파수동기(AFC), 위상동기(CR), 비트동기(STR)의 여러 요소기술 및 방식을 검토하고 문제점을 개선한 방안을 제시하였다. 또한 AWGN 채널 환경하에서 요구 심벌수, 정상상태 안정도, 그리고 하드웨어(H/W) 구현 난이도에 중점을 두어 제안한 각 동기 요소기술의 제반 성능평가를 수행하였다.

  • 2.4㎓ 대역 무선통신망을 통해 서비스되는 WLAN과 Bluetooth시스템은 서로 동일한 환경 하에서 상호 보완적인 서비스를 제공하고 있다. 이러한 두 시스템의 상호 패킷이 시간과 가우시안 거리의 불확실성에 존재할 경우 시스템간에 충돌이 발생하게 된다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 두 시스템간의 상호 공존의 방법을 도모하기 위해 상호 간섭의 영향을 분석하고자한다. 반송파 주파수 오프셋에 따른 신호대 잡음간섭신호에 의한 심볼 오차확률의 분석을 통해 두 시스템간의 간섭영향을 분석하였다.

SMP 환경에서의 위성용 XtratuM 오버헤드 분석 (Overhead Analysis of XtratuM for Space in SMP Envrionment)

  • Virtualization with hypervisors is one of emerging topics in multicore processors for space. Hypervisors are software layers to make several independent virtualized environments on one processor. Since all hardware resources are virtualized and distributed only by hypervisors, overall performance of processors can be improved by fully utilizing the resources. However at the same time, there are overheads for virtualizing and distributing hardware resources. Satellites are one of hard real time systems, and performance degradation with overheads should be analyzed thoroughly. Previous research on the overheads focused on single core systems. Even the overheads were analyzed in multicore systems, SMP environment was not fully included. This paper builds SMP environment with XtratuM, one of hypervisors for space missions, and analyzes performance degradation with overheads. Two boards of GR712RC with 2 LEON3FT CPUs and GR740 with 4 LEON4 CPUs are used in experiments. On each board, SMP benchmark functions are executed on SMP environment with XtratuM and on that without XtratuM respectively. Results are analyzed to find timing characteristics including overheads. Finally, applicability of the XtratuM to flight software in SMP is also reviewed.

건축물의 최유효 개발계획 수립을 위한 기획업무 절차에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Property Planning Process for the Highest and Best Use Development)

  • The purpose of the study is to establish a concept of property development planning process and factors by analyzing the several case studies, which prior proposed the highest and best use development of property. The value of property is dependent on the circumstances and the timing. Real property development is essential to develop in the highest and the best. The prior concepts of the highest and best use focused on the real estate appraisal, but these studies aroused an interest that related the highest and best use concept as a determinant of property development. As a results, this study suggests the process and the check points of property development planning phase. The first step is having a thorough grasp of the status of property. The Second step is the circumstantial analysis including legal restriction, locational environment, real estate market and economic conditions. The next step is, in accordance with these analysis, setting up the development concept and alternatives. Through the feasibility studies, we can make a choice the highest and best use development plan. In these days, the importance of development strategies such as design exceptionality and plan management are increased. Therefore, the integrated plan for the property development is very important.

중질 잔사유의 연소성 분석과 보조 분사에 의한 연소성 향상에 관한 검토 (Examination on Combustion Quality Analysis of Residue Heavy Fuel Oil and Improvement of Combustion Quality Using Pre-injection)

  • Due to the development of the petroleum refining technology and continuously increased demand from markets, a quantity of gasoline and diesel oil produced from a restricted quantity of crude oil has been increasing, and residual fuel to be used at marine diesel engines has been gradually becoming low quality. As a result, it was recently reported that trouble oils which cause abnormal combustion such as knocking with extreme noise and misfire from internal combustion engines were increasing throughout the world. In this study, an author investigated ignitability and combustion quality by using combustion analyzer with constant volume(FCA, Fuel Combustion Analyzer) and middle speed diesel engine about MDO(Marine Diesel Oil), HFO(Heavy Fuel Oil), LCO(Light Cycle Oil) and Blend-HFO which was blended LCO of 1000 liters with HFO of 600 liters. Moreover, for betterment of ignitability and combustion quality of injected fuels, multi-injection experiment was carried out in the diesel engine using Blend-HFO. According to the results of FCA analysis, ignitability and combustion quality was bad in the order of MDO

  • Recently, as the shape and function of high-rise buildings have become more complex, engineering for reflecting the constructability in the design phase has the increasing importance. However, engineering tasks are not performed at the appropriate level and timing in most projects, which leads to inefficient work such as design changes and reworks. Hence, this study investigated the constructability knowledge, design elements, and supporting tools required to conduct engineering tasks related to temporary work at the design phase, and also analyzed the relationship between these factors using the correlation analysis. As a result, when the engineering tasks are applied in the design phase, constructability knowledge related to 'construction method and process' is the most important and the design factor related to 'layout/arrangement' should be considered as the most important factor. Based on the results of this study, the project participants can efficiently use necessary constructability knowledge during the design phase and facilitate effective decision-making and design alternatives for enhancing constructability.
