가상 디바이스 네트워크상에서 불확실한 시간지연을 갖는 실시간 분산제어를 이용한 예지보전에 관한 연구 (Real-time Distributed Control in Virtual Device Network with Uncertain Time Delay for Predictive Maintenance (PM))

  • 원격지에 위치한 분산제어 시스템과 센서 데이터 또는 제어 명령을 주고받을 때에는 불확실한 시간지연이 발생한다. TCP/IP 프로토콜을 이용한 데이터 네트워크와 마찬가지로 데이터 네트워크와 디바이스 네트워크를 결합한 가상 디자이스 네트워크도 불확실한 시간지연이 내재되어 있다. 이러한 시간지연은 분산제어시스템의 성능을 저하시키고 불안전성을 야기하는 원인이 된다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 네트워크상에 내재하는 시간지연을 평가하고 부정적인 효과를 최소화하기 위하여 Smith Predictor를 적용하였다. 제안된 제어 알고리즘은 실시간 서보제어를 통하여 효과를 입증하였으며 가상 디바이스 네트워크 개념에 근거한 분산제어 시스템을 이용하여 실시간 예지보전을 수행할 때 효과가 있음을 제시하였다.

  • In order to analyze lateral control in the backward maneuver of a tractor -trailer combination , a kinematic vehicle model and a human operator model with time delay were utilized for the operator/vehicle system. The analysis was carried out using the frequency domain approach. The open-loop stability of the vehicle motion was analyzed through the transfer functions. The sensitivity of the stability of the vehicle motion. to a change in the steering angle, was also analyzed. A mathematical model of the closed -loop operator/vehicle system was then formulated. The closed -loop stability of the operator /vehicle system was then analyzed. The effect of the delay time on the system was also analyzed through computer simulation.

Improved Delay-Locked Loop in a UWB Impulse Radio Time-Hopping Spread-Spectrum System

  • As ultra-wideband impulse radio (UWB-IR) uses short-duration impulse signals of nanoseconds, even a small number of timing errors can cause a detrimental effect on system performance. A delay-locked loop (DLL) is proposed to synchronize and reduce timing errors. The design of the DLL is vital for UWB systems. In this paper, an improved DLL is introduced to a UWB-IR time-hopping spread-spectrum system. Instead of using only two central correlator branches as in a conventional DLL, the proposed system uses two additional correlator branches with different delay parameters and different weight parameters. The performance of the proposed schemes with the optimal parameters is compared with that of traditional schemes through simulation: the proposed four-branch DLLs achieves less tracking jitter or a longer mean time to lose lock (MTLL) than the conventional two-branch DLLs if proper parameters are chosen.

시간 지연을 갖는 Lipschitz 비선형 시스템의 강인 상태 관측기 (Robust State Observer for Lipschitz Nonlinear Systems with Time Delay)

  • This paper presents a robust state observer design for a class of Lipschitz nonlinear systems with time delay and external disturbance. Sufficient conditions on the existence of the proposed observer are characterized by linear matrix inequalities. It is also shown that the proposed observer design can reduce the effect on the estimation error of external disturbance up to the prescribed level in spite of the existence of time delay. Finally, a numerical example is provided to verify the proposed design method.

  • In a packet switching network, congestion is unavoidable and affects the quality of real-time traffic with such problems as delay and packet loss. Packet fair queuing (PFQ) algorithms are well-known solutions for quality-of-service (QoS) guarantee by packet scheduling. Our approach is different from previous algorithms in that it uses hardware time achieved by sampling a counter triggered by a periodic clock signal. This clock signal can be provided to all the modules of a routing system to get synchronization. In this architecture, a variant of the PFQ algorithm, called digitized delay queuing (DDQ), can be distributed on many line interface modules. We derive the delay bounds in a single processor system and in a distributed architecture. The definition of traffic contribution improves the simplicity of the mathematical models. The effect of different time between modules in a distributed architecture is the key idea for understanding the delay behavior of a routing system. The number of bins required for the DDQ algorithm is also derived to make the system configuration clear. The analytical models developed in this paper form the basis of improvement and application to a combined input and output queuing (CIOQ) router architecture for a higher speed QoS network.

  • In this paper we have considered a nonautonomous predator-prey model with discrete time delay due to gestation, in which there are two prey habitats linked by isotropic migration. One prey habitat contains a predator and the other (a refuge) does not. Here, we have established some sufficient conditions on the permanence of the system by using in-equality analytical technique. By Lyapunov functional method, we have also obtained some sufficient conditions for global asymptotic stability of this model. We have observed that the per capita migration rate among two prey habitats and the time delay has no effect on the permanence of the system but it has an effect on the global asymptotic stability of this model. The aim of the analysis of this model is to identify the parameters of interest for further study, with a view to informing and assisting policy-maker in targeting prevention and treatment resources for maximum effectiveness.

  • This paper proposes a gain scheduled control technique using time-delay for the nonlinear system with plant uncertainties and unexpected disturbances. The time delay-based gain scheduled control depends on a direct estimation of a function representing the effect of uncertainties. The information from the estimation is used to cancel the unknown dynamics and the unexpected disturbances simultaneously. The proposed estimation scheme with a finite convergence time is formulated in order to estimate the unknown scheduling variable variation. In other words, the time delay-based gain scheduled control uses the past observation of the system's response and the control input to directly modify the control actions rather than to adjust the controller gains or to identify system parameters. It has a simple structure so as to minimize the computational burden. The benefits of this proposed scheme are demonstrated in the simulation of an electromagnetic suspension system with plant uncertainties and external disturbances, and the proposed controller is compared with the conventional state feedback controller.

항공사 정시성에 영향을 주는 요인에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Factors that Affect the On-Time Performances of Airline Companies)

  • 항공사에서 정시성(on-time performance, OTP)이란, 항공사의 신뢰성의 척도이며, 타 항공사와 비교할 때 중요한 지표로 활용된다. 본 연구는 코로나로 인해 항공 편수가 급격히 줄어든 2020년 3월을 기준으로 전후 1년간의 국내 K항공사 자료를 분석하여 지연 요인들이 항공사의 정시성에 미치는 영향 및 강도를 분석하였다. 또한, 계절에 따른 기상 영향으로 발생되는 지연을 분석하였으며, 코로나 상황으로 급감한 승객이 지연요인에 어떠한 영향을 주는지 연구하였다. 지연 요인(delay factor)은 IATA의 지연 코드(delay code)에 자체 코드를 추가한 K 항공사의 지연 코드를 적용하였다. 본 연구의 분석을 바탕으로 항공사의 정시성에 영향을 주는 지연 요인을 최소화하는 방안을 제안하고자 한다.

제주 대표유역에 대한 함양지체시간의 경험식 (Empirical Formula of Delay Time for Groundwater Recharge in the Representative Watersheds, Jeju Island)

  • 함양 지체시간은 강우로부터 지표면을 지나 지하수면으로 도달하는 침투수의 통로 역할을 하는 비포화대를 통과할 때 발생하는 시간지연을 의미한다. 함양 지체시간을 직접적으로 측정하는 것은 불가능하기 때문에 본 연구는 고도와의 단순회귀분석을 이용하여 지체시간에 대한 경험식을 유도하였다. 이를 위하여 제주도 내에 4개의 유역(한천, 강정천, 외도천, 천미천)을 선정하여 총 18개의 관측지점에 대한 지체시간을 산정하였다. 또한 제안된 회귀식을 검증하기 위하여 선형 저수지 이론으로부터 유도된 방정식을 적용하여 구한 지체시간과 본 연구에서 유도된 경험식으로부터 산정된 지체시간을 이용하여 각각 산정한 지하수 함양량을 비교한 결과 상관성이 높은 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 따라서 본 연구에서 유도한 경험식을 이용하여 SWAT모형의 지체시간 매개변수에 적용할 경우 지하수 함양의 공간적 지연효과를 잘 반영할 것으로 판단된다.

항공서비스와 공항서비스의 대기환경이 지각된 대기시간과 서비스만족도에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (The Effect of Waiting Environment of Airline Service and Airport Service on Perceived Waiting Time and Service Satisfaction)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to prove that the effect of waiting environment on perceived waiting time and service satisfaction of airline service and airport service procedure. Methods: Survey was conducted by questionnaires that were distributed to international airlines passengers. Survey data were collected 276 copies from 300 copies then analyzed using factor analysis and multi-regression analysis. The measurements of airline service procedure were divided by airlines service and airport service. Airline service segregated as before boarding and after boarding then airport service can be separated before boarding and after deplane by service procedure. Results: According to result, hypotheses were partially accepted. Human environment and Physical environment of airport service before boarding and after deplane were accepted. However perceived waiting time had effect on service satisfaction both airline and airport services. Thus some of variables are correlated among waiting environment. Acceptability as moderating variable has differences on high acceptable group and low acceptable group. Though waiting and delay were caused by controllable or uncontrollable reasons, there are certain negative feeling on waiting and delay on physical environment of airline service. Especially controllable delay and waiting are more negative than uncontrollable reasons. Conclusion: Some suggestions that given from researcher should be implemented to the airline industry to reduce perceived waiting time specially airport service procedure academically and practically.
