  • This study aims to analyze the mutual influences between adolescents' multicultural acceptability and school adjustment. Research problems for research are as follows. First, is multicultural acceptability and school adjustment stable over time? Second, what is the longitudinal impact of school adjustment on multicultural acceptability over time? Third, what is the longitudinal impact of multicultural acceptability on school adjustment over time? The results of analyzing the research problems by applying the autoregressive cross-lagged model are as follows. First, the autoregressive model of school adjustment has a significant effect on the future time point and is stable over time. Second, the autoregressive model of multicultural acceptability have a significant effect on the future time point and is stable over time. Third, cross-lagged effect from school adjustment to multicultural acceptability has a statistically significant effect on the multicultural acceptability at a later time, and is stable over time. Fourth, cross-lagged effect from multicultural acceptability to school adjustment was not statistically significant at the time of multicultural acceptability, and there was no change with time. This study is meaningful to provide the theoretical and practical implications by verifying the influence of the three - year term data over time.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the differences in children's daily experience and school adjustment of elementary school according to children's gender and self-care and to explore the relationship between children's daily experience and school adjustment. Data were collected from the NYPI panel survey of 2010. The data were analyzed by means of Cronbach's ${\alpha}$ tests, means, standard deviations, Two-way ANOVAs, and Pearson's Correlation. The results of this study were as follows : 1. There were some significant differences by gender and self-care in daily experience. Girls spent more time in watching TV but less time in games than boys. And self-care children spent less time in learning and reading, but more time in game and TV watching. Also there was a interaction effect of learning experience by gender and self-care. 2. There were some significant differences by gender and self-care in school adjustment. Girls showed more positive school adjustment than boys. And children who are cared for by their parents showed more positive learning and school rule adjustment. 3. There were some significant relationship between children's daily experience and school adjustment.

  • Objectives: This longitudinal study was done to identify the relationship of school adjustment and sponsor support or future time perspective and the differences of these 3 variables between 1st and 2nd survey of children having Didimseed account in institutional care. Methods: Participants were 25 elementary fourth to sixth grade children who are living on one facility that located in G. metropolitan area at 1st survey and 2nd survey was done at five-year intervals. Data were collected from September 2012 to September 2017 and were analyzed using t-test, paired t-test, ANOVA, post-hoc test and Pearson's correlation coefficients. Results: The level of school adjustment knowledge was not different significantly according to grade, gender and admission period at 1st survey. At 2nd survey, the level of school adjustment was different significantly according to grade only. The level of school adjustment was associated with positive future time perspective(r=.74) and negative future time perspective(r=-.54) at 1st survey, and that was associated with negative future time perspective(r=-.49) and meeting frequency of sponsor(r=-.43) at 2nd survey. There were not significantly different school adjustment and future time perspective variables between both surveys. But meeting frequency of sponsor at 2nd survey was lower significantly than that at 1st survey. Conclusions: Based on the results of this study, it would be necessary to prepare the policies that could have their positive future time perspective to increase school adjustment of institutionalized children. Also the effective strategies to increase not only Didimseed account support but emotional support through qualified meeting with sponsors should be developed.

  • The seasonal adjustment is an essential process in analyzing the time series of economy and business. One of the powerful adjustment methods is X11-ARIMA Model which is popularly used in Korea. This method was delivered from Canada. However, this model has been developed to be appropriate for Canadian and American environment. Therefore, we need to review whether the X11-ARIMA Model could be used properly in Korea. In this study, we have applied the method to the annual sales of refrigerator sales in A electronic company. We appreciated the adjustment by result analyzing the time series components such as seasonal component, trend-cycle component, and irregular component, with the proposed method. Additionally, in order to improve the result of seasonal adjusted time series, we suggest the demand forecasting method base on autocorrelation and seasonality with the X11-ARIMA PROC.

  • In this paper, a dynamic backoff adjustment method of IEEE 802.15.4 is proposed for time-critical sporadic data in a noisy factory environment. For this, a superframe of IEEE 802.15.4 is applied to a real-time mixed data (periodic data, sporadic data, and non real-time message) transmission in factory communication systems. To guarantee a channel access of real-time sporadic(non-periodic) data, a transmission method using the dynamic backoff is applied to wireless control networks. For the real-time property, different initial BE, CW parameters are used for the dynamic backoff adjustment method. The simulat-ion results show an enhancement of the real-time performance of sporadic emergency data. The proposed method provides the channel access of real-time sporadic data efficiently, and guarantee real-time transmission simultaneously within a limite-d timeframe.

  • Drawing on third to fifth wave data from the Longitudinal Study of North Korean Migrant Youths' Education, we examined the longitudinal relationship between social capital of North Korean Migrant Youths and school adjustment using latent growth modeling(LGM). Specifically, we sought to answer the following research questions: Do social capital and school adjustment among North Korean Migrant Youths change over time? Is there a relationship between the changes in social capital and school adjustment among these students? Our LGM results showed that trends in social capital and school adjustment among these students were not fixed but changed over time. While the social capital developed by these students was found to influence school adjustment at the time of its development, it did not continue to influence changes in school adjustment over time. Changes in school adjustment of North Korean migrant youths were affected by changes in social capital. These results suggest that there is room for gradual improvement of school adjustment level by strengthening social capital of North Korean migrant youths.

  • The monthly series is an aggregation of daily values. In the absence of observable daily data, calendar effects such as trading day and holidays are estimated using a RegARIMA model. However, if the daily series were observable, these calendar effects could be estimated directly from the daily series, potentially improving the seasonal adjustment of the monthly time series. In this paper, we propose a method to improve the seasonal adjustment of monthly time series by using calendar variation estimation based on daily time series. We apply this seasonal adjustment method to three monthly time series and compare our results with those obtained using X-13ARIMA-SEATS.

  • The main purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between infants' early adjustment and later adjustment in childcare centers and to analyze the mothers' adjustment support strategies. The subjects consisted of 244 infants from newborns to 36 months old and their mothers and childcare teachers of public childcare centers. The results of the study were as follows. First, there was a significant difference according to infants' age in mothers' adjustment support strategies. The more mothers use appropriate strategies for adjustment earlier in childcare centers, the better infants showed adjustment according to infants' age respectively. Second, there was a significant difference between the early adjustment(Time1) and the later adjustment(Time2) of infants. Third, mothers' adjustment support strategies affected on infants' later adjustment in childcare centers. These results show that appropriate mothers' adjustment support strategies were related to infants' adjustment by age longitudinally. The implications of these results indicate that developing adjustment programs including effective strategies for infants' mothers in childcare centers considering their demographic characteristics and specified needs is needed.

  • Fathering practices were assessed by the modified version of the fathering Practices Scale while children's social adjustment was assessed by the Social Adjustment Scale in this study of 405 first to sixth grade children and their fathers. Fathering practices differed by father's age, education, occupation, amount of time with children, extent of participation in children's school activities, mother's job status, and children's birth order. Children's social adjustment varied by father's education, amount of time with children, and participation in children's school activities. There were correlations among all four factors of children's social adjustment and all eight factors of fathering practices. Father's responsibility for children was the strongest predictor of children's social adjustment.
