墨子所講的天幾乎都是屬於宗敎和人文性格兼具的層面. 而墨子所講的天帝一定是遍知的, 至爲高貴的. 天具有超自然的賞罰能力, 這是無上權威的象徵, 所以卽使是天子也要受其約束. 還有凡是人類可以活動的地方都是天之邑, 所有的人類無非是天之臣. 那麽, 人就必得要遵循天的意思, 而且只要順天意就能得到天的獎賞, 違反天意的一定受到處罰. 而墨子所以論證天帝的存在以及他所擁有的至高地位, 其目的是要借此以確定賞罰的絶對權威. 還有墨子所說的天意有兩個方面的意思, 一是要求人人互相兼愛, 二是人類的一切活動都要合於義的要求. 因此, 可以說墨子是根據他人的人生思想充實了天志的具體內容, 而從聖王法天的歷史經驗中肯定天志的價値, 然後借助於天帝所擁有的賞罰權威來確認實施天志的必要性.

I found evidence that Kim Y$\breve{o}$ng (金泳, 1749-1817) is the author of the Korean Poch'$\breve{o}$n'ga with New Charts published in 1792 by the Astronomical Bureau of the Chos$\breve{o}$n dynasty. I reconstructed a history of Kim Y$\breve{o}$ng from various literature remained in other persons' anthologies and governmental records. My findings on the author and publication year can help to solve the problem on the origin of star charts in the Poch'$\breve{o}$n'ga with New Charts. I also considered the changes of Chinese Bu-Tian-Ge and their star charts after Chongzhenglishu (崇禎曆書). I found that the new charts in the book of Huantiantushuo published by Li Mingche (李明徹, 1751-1832) in 1819 are approximately the same to those in the Poch'$\breve{o}$n'ga with New Charts by Kim Y$\breve{o}$ng in 1792.

By using the arrival time approach of Chae et at. [6], we derive various performance measures including the queue length distributions (in PGFs) and the waiting time distributions (in LST and PGF) for both M$^{x}$ /G/1 and Geo$^{x}$ /G/1 queueing systems, both under the assumption that the server, when it becomes idle, takes multiple vacations up to a random maximum number. This is an extension of both Choudhury[7] and Zhang and Tian [11]. A few mistakes in Zhang and Tian are corrected and meaningful interpretations are supplemented.

This paper is concerned with the following Schrödinger-Poisson system $$\{\begin{array}{lll}-{\Delta}u+V(x)u+K(x){\phi}u=a(x){\mid}u{\mid}^{p-2}u&&\text{ in }{\mathbb{R}}^3,\\-{\Delta}{\phi}=K(x)u^2&&\text{ in }{\mathbb{R}}^3,\end{array}$$ where 4 < p < 6. For the case that K is nonnegative, V and a are indefinite, we prove the above problem possesses one ground state sign-changing solution with exactly two nodal domains by constraint variational method and quantitative deformation lemma. Moreover, we show that the energy of sign-changing solutions is larger than that of the ground state solutions. The novelty of this paper is that the potential a is indefinite and allowed to vanish at infinity. In this sense, we complement the existing results obtained by Batista and Furtado [5].
