사육기간에 따른 신품종 및 상용토종닭의 육질특성 비교분석 (Effects of the Raising Period on Meat Quality in Two New Strains of Korean Native Chicken)

  • 본 연구는 Golden Seed Project에서 개발 중인 토종닭 후보라인과 상용토종닭인 한협 3호의 품질특성을 비교분석하여 후보라인들의 사육기간에 따른 이용가능성을 확인하기 위해 실시되었다. (주)하림 실험농장(전북 김제시)에서 5주, 12주간 동일한 조건에서 사육된 토종닭(CON: 한협 3호, CL1: 신품종 후보계통 C, CL2: 신품종 후보계통 D) 총 600수를 하림(익산) 도계장에서 생산품과 동일한 표준 조건에서 도계한 뒤 계통별 30수씩 임의 선발하였다. 전문 가공 종업원에 의해 생산품과 동일하게 발골하였고 실험에는 다리살 부위를 사용하였다. 사육기간동안 CON과 유사한 pH를 나타내었고 12주령에서는 가장 높은 pH 값을 나타내었다. 보수력에서는 전반적으로 처리구간 유의미한 차이는 확인되지 않았으며, 5주령 계육에서 높은 보수력을 나타내었다. 지방산패도에서 CL1은 저장 7일차에 가장 높은 값을 보였고 DPPH 라디칼 소거능에서는 저장 7일에 대조구인 한협3호는 5주령에서 신계통에 비해 높은 항산화력을 나타내었지만 12주령에서는 가장 낮은 항산화력을 나타냈다. 주요 지방산 조성은 올레산(C18:1), 팔미트산(16:0), 리놀레산(18:2), 스테아르산(18:0), 아라키돈산(20:4) 순으로 나타났으며 개별지방산에서 처리구간 특이적인 차이는 발견되지 않았다. 동맥경화지수(AI)와 혈전형성지수(TI)는 5주령 계육이 12주령에 비해 낮은 수치를 보였으며, 이와 반대로 P/S함량에서는 12주령 계육이 낮은 비율을 나타내었다. 항산화 펩타이드인 anserine 함량에서는 5주령 후보라인이 대조구에 비해 높은 함량을 나타내었고, 12주령 계육이 5주령 계육보다 높은 함량을 나타냈다. 기능성 화합물인 L-carnitine과 betaine의 함량에서는 12주령때 후보계통들이 한협에 비해 높은 함량을 나타내었다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 각 계통간의 차이보다는 주로 사육기간의 차이가 높은 유의성으로 나타났으며, 사육기간이 증가함에 따라 적색도, 불포화지방산 및 ribose 함량이 낮아지고, 포화지방산, AI, TI 및 anserine 함량이 높아지는 것이 확인되었다.

  • 21 세기는 언제, 어디에서, 누구나가 정보를 자유롭게 염가에 이용할 수 있는 유비쿼터스 정보사회가 될 것으로 예상하고 있다. 이러한 유비쿼터스 사회가 실현되기 위해서는 필연적으로 대두되고 있는 과제가 에너지 공급원의 문제이다. 휴대용 전자제품이나 소형 에너지 공급원으로 지금까지 주로 전지가 사용되어 왔지만 이것들은 교환 및 충전이 불가피하다. 이러한 불편함을 개선하기위해 교환과 충전이 불필요하거나 아주 장시간동안 공급해주는 형태의 에너지 공급원의 필요성이 대두되고 있다. 이러한 에너지 공급원으로 최근에 많은 연구가 되고 있는 것이 주위의 환경으로부터 버려지는 에너지를 수확(harvesting)하여 전력으로 변환하는 에너지 하베스팅 (energy harvesting)기술이 연구 개발되고 있다. 에너지 하베스팅 응용을 위해서 사용되어지는 압전 세라믹스는 전압출력계수 ($g_{33}$)가 커야하는데 이것은 압전상수 ($d_{33}$)와 유전상수 (${\varepsilon}_{\tau}$)의 값에 영향을 받는 것으로 알려져있다. 그 중에서 우수한 전기적 특성 때문에 PZT를 기반으로 하는 압전 세라믹스가 사용되어져왔다. 그러나 Pb의 높은 유독성과 Pb를 포함하는 제품들의 처분문제들로 인해 제조에 관한 많은 문제점들을 지니고있다. 그리하여, Pb를 포함하지 않는 Pb-free계에 관한 연구가 전세계적으로 활발히 진행되고 있다. 다양한 Pb-free계 후보자들 가운데 $K_{0.5}Na_{0.5}NbO_3$ (KNN)는 높은 큐리온도와 좋은 강유전 특성 및 압전특성 때문에 PZT를 대체할 가장 장래성있는 대안들 중의 하나로 고려되고 있다. 그러나 고온에서 알칼라인 원소들의 높은 휘발성 때문에 보통의 소결공정으로는 소결이 잘되고 치밀한 세라믹스를 얻기가 어렵다. 많은 연구에서 KNN 세라믹스의 소결성을 개선하기 위하여 강유전 또는 반강유전체인 $SrTiP_3$$LiTaO_3$를 고용체 형성에 포함시키고 또한 $K_4CuNb_8O_{23}$, $MnO_2$, CuO등과 같은 소결조제를 첨가하여 압전 특성과 소결성을 개선시켰다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 비화학양론적 (1-X)[$[(K_{0.5}Na_{0.5}]_{0.97}(Nb_{0.96}Sb_{0.04})O_3]$ + 0.008CuO + 0.2wt% $Ag_2O$ + X $CeMnO_3$의 조성을 사용하여 A사이트와 B 사이트에 각각 Ce이온과 Mn 이온의 치환량을 변화하여 그에 따른 유전 및 압전특성을 조사하였다.

Pb(Ni1/3Nb2/3)O3-PZT 세라믹스 고용체에서 과잉 NiO첨가에 따른 압전특성 변화 (The Effect of NiO Addition to the PNN-PZT Piezoelectric Ceramics on Piezoelectric Properties)

  • Perovskite $Pb(Ni_{1/3}Nb_{2/3})O_3-Pb(Zr,Ti)O_3[PNN-PZT]$ ceramics were synthesized by conventional ceramic processing technique. In order to modify piezoelectric properties for sensor application in this system, NiO addition was considered to provide $Ni^{+2}$ as an acceptor, which was known to occupy with B site in the structure. The effect of NiO addition up to $8\;mol\%$ on the following piezoelectric properties as well as sintering properties was investigated. When NiO added more than $1\;mol\%$, average grain size was decreased and second phase was found to form. Moreover, the second phase caused decrease in relative dielectric constant $(\varepsilon_{33}T/\varepsilon0)$, electro-mechanical coupling factor $(k_p)$, and piezoelectric charge constant $(d_{33})$, while increasing mechanical quality factor $(Q_m)$. When $1\;mol\%$ NiO was added, density, dielectric properties and piezoelectric properties were abruptly increased.

사료중의 Cu 수준이 한우 거세우의 성장 및 도체특성에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Dietary Copper Levels on Performance and Carcass Characteristics in Hanwoo Steers)

  • 한우 거세우에 대한 Cu의 급여효과를 규명하기 위하여 농후사료중의 Cu 수준을 사료 kg당 7 mg, 12 mg 또는 17 mg의 3개 처리구에 각 5두씩 계 15두를 공시하여 435일간 비육시험을 실시한 결과는 다음과 같다. 일당증체량은 비육전기, 비육중기 및 비육후기 전기간에 걸처 Cu 7mg, 12mg 또는 17 mg 급여구간에 차이가 없었고 비육 전기간 평균에서도 각각 0.75, 0.76, 0.75kg으로서 처리구간에 유의적인 차이는 없었다. 사료섭취량은 처리구간에 비육전기에는 9.21-9.64 kg, 비육중기에는 9.53-9.75kg, 비육후기에는 10.09-10.93 kg으로 비육시기별로 큰 차이가 없었고 비육전기간에는 9.86-10.21 kg으로 처리구간에 큰 차이가 없었다. 사료효율은 비육전기에는 11.08-11.72, 비육중기에는 13.60-14.34, 비육후기에는 14.01- 15.20으로 처리구간에 큰 차이는 없었고 비육전기간에서도 13.31-13.99로 처리간에 차이가 없었다. 한우 거세우에게 Cu를 급여하였을 때 도체율은 58.4-59.2%로 처리구간에 차이는 없었다. 육량등급중에서 등지방두께는 8.2-10.4 mm로 처리구간에 큰 차이는 없었다. 배최장근단면적은 대조구와 12 mg 및 17 mg 급여구가 각각 78.4, 82.2 및 79.8 $cm^2$로 처리구간에 차이는 없었다. 육량지수는 68.10-68.91로서 처리구간에 차이는 없었다. 육량등급은 모두 B 등급으로서 처리구간에 차이가 없었다. 육질등급에서 가장 중요한 요인인 근내지방도는 Cu 7mg, 12mg 또는 17mg 급여구가 각각 3.6, 4.8 및 4.2로서 12 mg 첨가구가 약간 높게 나타났으나 처리구간에 유의적인 차이는 없었다. 육색, 지방색, 조직감 그리고 성숙도 등에서도 Cu 첨가구간에 큰 차이가 없었다. 육질등급은 처리구간에 모두 1등급을 받았고 Cu 수준간에 차이가 없었다. 경제성분석 결과 조수익은 대조구에서는 두당 2,577,483원, Cu 12mg 급여구는 2,920,432원, Cu 17mg 급여구는 2,653,227원으로써 Cu 12 mg 급여구가 7mg 급여구에 비해 13.3%, 17 mg 급여구에 비해 10.1%가 높게 나타났다. 이상과 같은 결과들을 종합해 볼 때 한우 거세우에게 농후사료 중에 Cu를 사료 kg당 7, 12 또는 17 mg을 넣어 주었을 때 성장, 육량 및 육질등급에서는 처리간에 차이가 없었으나 경제성에서는 12 mg 급여구가 조수익이 높았다.

  • The purpose of this study is to verify the factors determining core journals in a field based upon the results of the citation analysis of the journals in the field of Korean History(KH). In order to verify the determinant factors, dividing the articles of the KH journals into their novelty and author's seniority, the following hypotheses were established. Hypothesis 1: When a KH journal publishes more articles on prehistoric and ancient eras than others, the journal will have higher chance to be included in the core journals. Hypothesis 2: When a KH journal publishes more articles by senior researchers than others, the journal will have higher chance to be included in the core journals. To achieve the purpose, the cited articles found in the two sample journals, namely, Backsan Hakbo and Hanguksa Yongu were analysed during the past 20 years from 1962 to 1981. Applying the Hirst's Discipline Impact Factor method to the the study, Historical Science Impact Factor(HSIF) on the samples itself and the historical era dealt with in the articles and the seniority of the authors during every five-year period. 내부가열을 이용한 보장성어육(고등어) 연제품의 가공 및 제품개발에 관한 연구 2. 제품저장중의 품질변화 (Processing of Water Activity Controlled Fish Meat Paste by Dielectric Heating 2. Storage Stability of the Product)

  • In previous paper(Lee et al., 1984), preparation formula and processing conditions of the fish meat (mackerel) paste using dielectric heating were described, that included the proper shape and size of product and the conditions of dielectric heating, hot air dehydration, and heating with electric heater to yield the minimum expansion and case hardening during heating and to controll the final rater activity of 0.86 to 0.83 accompanying with a complete reduction of viable cells and good texture. In present study, changes in VBN, pH, total plate count, water activity, texture, the loss of available lysine, color indexes, TBA value, and the content of TI were determined to assess the quality stability and shelf-life of the product during the storage for 35 days at $5^{\circ}C\;and\;25^{\circ}C$, respectively. And the effect of vacuum sealing and hot water treatment before storage on the storage stability of product was also mentioned. As the product was vacuum packed in K-flex film bag, heat treated in boiling water for 6 minutes, and stored, water activity was maintained 0.86 to 0.84 for 35 days regardless of storage temperature, and the increase of total plate count was negligible in case of $5^{\circ}C$ storage while tended to gain slightly after 25 days at $25^{\circ}C$ storage. Changes in VBN was also minimum with an increase of 1.5 mg/100g at $5^{\circ}C$ and 7.0mg/100g at $25^{\circ}C$, but in case of unpacked sample, it was 24.5mg/100g at $5^{\circ}C$ and 42.4 mg/100g at $25^{\circ}C$ even after 7 days. In textural property hardness tended to increase after 28 days and folding test score was down to A or B from AA grade. The loss of available lysine was $7.5\%\;at\;5^{\circ}C$ and $17.0\%\;at\;25^{\circ}C$ but brown color was not deeply developed as the color index score indicated. TBA value was not increased at $5^{\circ}C$ while it tended to increase rapidly after 30 days at $25^{\circ}C$. Changes in TI content was not obvious except that it showed a tendency of increase at the end of storage as well as in the change of lysine and TBA value. It is concluded from the results that the quality of the product, pasteurized and water activity controlled by dielectric heating, and vacuum packed in K-flex film would be stable for more than 35 days at $5^{\circ}C$ and at least 25 days even at room temperature.

  • The historical development of books examination with utilizing science become inevitable to the machanization of library catalogues. With the advance of times, like this, a new- development of $Indention('||'&'||'$ : Kisun) must be sought for which is a kind of descriptive catalogues being used now. This paper is scheduled to grasp problems in the course of using and logical grounds of Indention which hal-e been used disordering. It must be considered that four kinds of Icdention settlement is suitable to the features of Korean letters. 1) TI-e must consider the features of Korean Language and Oriental Language writing(Japan, China). There must be a establishment of floating $Indention('||'&'||'E$ : Kisun), which are suitable for the writting style or hand writting man on the point of most of Koreans are depend upon hand witting, then books catalogues like western language, not left edge of the cards of the $Indention(B$ : Kisun) establishing, from edge to Call Number, from the last of the Call Number to First Indention(%-Bl63). First Indention(%-%%) to a space of Second $indention($\ulcorner^%)$ must be established and then, every catalogue and Indentions are distinguished surely. 2) \Then we consider the developing catalogue making in the future. It is important to establish a fixed $Indention('||'&'||'$ : Kisun) for machinization of typewriter(Korean, Mimeographing) and computer, etc ... not "Cm" unit but "Space" unit, and consider oriental letter, ne make more surplus space as a Indention, we can give anadaptablity of using machines. 3) Considering typography printing and type-setting printing by printing type, we must fit the $Indention(\ulcorner'||'&'||'$ : Kisun) as a "Cm" unit, and there must be a re-adjustment of $Indention(g$$ : Kisun) which considered the complexity of Call Number by a mass of collecting books like this, the establishment of Indention(E'||'&'||'j!: Kisun). We must not use a uilified one as a concrete conception by "Space" or "Cm" unit which has been used now but re-adjusted adaptably which can be fited as a method of making of catalogues. 4) The name of $Indcntion(J, S$ : Kisun) has becll called 7;arious methods until now, but English Indention which has been used without any concrete mexirig must be used as a ours fitable as a our mind. The above mentioned is presented as a Indention and examinational l~letilods by myself style, I wants these r i l l be helpful to the future developments of the machanization of Indention $(sf:$ Ki sun). Concrete studies must be continued in the future for development of $Indention(zj:$ : Kisun). : Kisun).

Application of Gamma Ray Densitometry in Powder Metallurgy

  • The most important industrial application of gamma radiation in characterizing green compacts is the determination of the density. Examples are given where this method is applied in manufacturing technical components in powder metallurgy. The requirements imposed by modern quality management systems and operation by the workforce in industrial production are described. The accuracy of measurement achieved with this method is demonstrated and a comparison is given with other test methods to measure the density. The advantages and limitations of gamma ray densitometry are outlined. The gamma ray densitometer measures the attenuation of gamma radiation penetrating the test parts (Fig. 1). As the capability of compacts to absorb this type of radiation depends on their density, the attenuation of gamma radiation can serve as a measure of the density. The volume of the part being tested is defined by the size of the aperture screeniing out the radiation. It is a channel with the cross section of the aperture whose length is the height of the test part. The intensity of the radiation identified by the detector is the quantity used to determine the material density. Gamma ray densitometry can equally be performed on green compacts as well as on sintered components. Neither special preparation of test parts nor skilled personnel is required to perform the measurement; neither liquids nor other harmful substances are involved. When parts are exhibiting local density variations, which is normally the case in powder compaction, sectional densities can be determined in different parts of the sample without cutting it into pieces. The test is non-destructive, i.e. the parts can still be used after the measurement and do not have to be scrapped. The measurement is controlled by a special PC based software. All results are available for further processing by in-house quality documentation and supervision of measurements. Tool setting for multi-level components can be much improved by using this test method. When a densitometer is installed on the press shop floor, it can be operated by the tool setter himself. Then he can return to the press and immediately implement the corrections. Transfer of sample parts to the lab for density testing can be eliminated and results for the correction of tool settings are more readily available. This helps to reduce the time required for tool setting and clearly improves the productivity of powder presses. The range of materials where this method can be successfully applied covers almost the entire periodic system of the elements. It reaches from the light elements such as graphite via light metals (AI, Mg, Li, Ti) and their alloys, ceramics ($AI_20_3$, SiC, Si_3N_4, $Zr0_2$, ...), magnetic materials (hard and soft ferrites, AlNiCo, Nd-Fe-B, ...), metals including iron and alloy steels, Cu, Ni and Co based alloys to refractory and heavy metals (W, Mo, ...) as well as hardmetals. The gamma radiation required for the measurement is generated by radioactive sources which are produced by nuclear technology. These nuclear materials are safely encapsulated in stainless steel capsules so that no radioactive material can escape from the protective shielding container. The gamma ray densitometer is subject to the strict regulations for the use of radioactive materials. The radiation shield is so effective that there is no elevation of the natural radiation level outside the instrument. Personal dosimetry by the operating personnel is not required. Even in case of malfunction, loss of power and incorrect operation, the escape of gamma radiation from the instrument is positively prevented.

  • The 3-D Fast Gradient Echo (Turbo FLASH, Turbo Fast Low Angle Shot) sequence is optimized to achieve a good T1 contrast using variable excitation flip angles. In Turbo FLASH sequence, depending on the contrast preparation scheme, various types of image contrast can be established. While proton density contrast is obtained when using a short repetition time with a short echo time and small flip angles, T1 or T2 weighting can be obtained with proper contrast preparation sequences applied before the above proton density Turbo FLASH sequence. To maximize the contrast to noise ratio while retaining a sharp impulse response (smooth frequency domain response), the excitation flip-angle pattern is optimized through simulation and experiments. The TI (the delay after the preparation sequence which is a 180 degree inversion RF pulse in the IR T1 weighted imaging case), TD (the delay time between the Turbo FLASH sequence and the next preparation), and TR are also optimized fur the best image quality. The proposed 3-D Turbo FLASH provides $1mm\times1mm\times1.5mm$ high resolution images within a reasonable 5-8 minutes of imaging time. The proposed imaging sequence has been implemented in a Medison's Magnum 1.0T system and verified through simulations as well as human volunteer imaging. The experimental results show the utility of the proposed method.

  • Size-and time-resolved aerosol samples were collected using an eight-stage Davis rotating unit for monitoring (DRUM) sampler from 23 March to 29 April 2001 at Gosan, Jeju Island, Korea, which is one of the super sites of Asia-Pacific Regional Aerosol Characterization Experiment(ACE-Asia). These samples were analyzed using synchrotron X-ray fluorescence for 3-hr average concentrations of 19 elements including Al, Si, S, Cl, K, Ca, Ti, V, Cr, Mn, Fe, Ni, Cu, Zn, As, Se, Br, Rb, and Pb. The size-resolved data sets were then analyzed using the positive matrix factorization(PMF) technique to identify possible sources and estimate their contributions to particulate matter mass. PMF analysis uses the uncertainty of the measured data to provide an optimal weighting. Twelve sources were resolved in eight size ranges($0.09{\sim}12{\mu}m$) and included continental soil, local soil, sea salt, biomass/biofuel burning, coal combustion, oil combustion, municipal incineration, nonferrous metal source, ferrous metal source, gasoline vehicle, diesel vehicle, and volcanic emission. The PMF result of size-resolved source contributions showed that natural sources represented by local soil, sea salt, continental soil, and volcanic emission contributed about 79% to the predicted primary particulate matter(PM) mass in the coarse size range ($1.15{\sim}12{\mu}m$) while anthropogenic sources such as coal combustion and biomass/biofuel burning contributed about 58% in the fine size range($0.56{\sim}2.5{\mu}m$). The diesel vehicle source contributed mostly in ultra-fine size range($0.09{\sim}0.56{\mu}m$) and was responsible for about 56% of the primary PM mass.
