The Nonparametric Test for Detecting Main Effects for Three-Way ANOVA Models

  • When interactions are not present in a three-way layout, the lim-iting null distribution of the F statistic for testing main effects when applied to the rank-score transformed data is the same as the limiting null distribution of the usual F statistic when applied to the normal data. The simulation results exhibit that the rank transform test is robust with respect to significance level and powerful for testing main effects in a three-way factorial experiment.

  • 독립된 세 개 이상의 처리 간에 차이 유무를 검정하는 비모수적 방법에는 Kruskal과 Wallis (1952)가 제안한 검정법이 있다. 세 개 이상의 다른 모집단으로부터 결합된 표본관측 값들의 순위를 이용한 검정기법이다. 본 논문에서는 Chung과 Kim (2007)이 제안한 결합위치 방법을 확장하여 일원배치모형에서 새로운 방법을 제안하였다. 또한 모의실험(Monte Calro simulation study)를 통하여 기존의 검정법과 제안한 방법의 검정력을 비교하였다.

  • 일원배치모형에서 세 개 이상의 처리 간에 차이 유무를 검정하여 귀무가설이 기각됐다면, 어떤 것이 통계적으로 유의한 결과인지 확인하기 위해서는 다중비교 방법이 필요하다. 대표적인 모수적 검정법으로는 Tukey (1953), 비모수적 검정법으로는 Kruskal-Wallis (1952)의 검정에 기초한 방법이 있다. 이 방법은 전체 자료에 대한 혼합표본에 순위를 부여한 후 세 개 이상의 각 처리별 평균 순위를 이용한 검정방법이다. 본 논문에서는 Chung과 Kim (2007)이 제안한 결합위치 검정법을 확장하여 일원배치모형에서 새로운 비모수적 다중비교 방법을 제안하였다. 또한 모의실험(Monte Carlo simulation)을 통해 기존의 검정방법들과 제안한 방법의 family wise error rate (FWE)와 검정력을 비교하였다.

Autonomous Deployment in Mobile Sensor Systems

  • In order to reduce the distribution cost of sensor nodes, a mobile sensor deployment has been proposed. The mobile sensor deployment can be solved by finding the optimal layout and planning the movement of sensor nodes with minimum energy consumption. However, previous studies have not sufficiently addressed these issues with an efficient way. Therefore, we propose a new deployment approach satisfying these features, namely a tree-based approach. In the tree-based approach, we propose three matching schemes. These matching schemes match each sensor node to a vertex in a rake tree, which can be trivially transformed to the target layout. In our experiments, the tree-based approach successfully deploys the sensor nodes in the optimal layout and consumes less energy than previous works.

  • Eight new three-way cross heterozygotic hybrid genotypes of the mulberry silkworm Bombyx mori, resulted from hybridization of multivoltine as female and bivoltine Fl hybrid as male component, have been evaluated for the cumulative effect of nine traits of commercial economic importance with the objective of selecting out the most prospective ones for their exploitation as an intermediate technology during unfavorable season. Five of them namely, G(P5${\times}$NBl8) (E.I. =57.23); S(NB18${\times}$P5) (E.I. : 55.48); S(P5${\times}$NBl8) (E.I. = 52.44); S(KBN${\times}$B7) (E.I. = 50.42) and S(NB7${\times}$KB) (E.I. : 50.16) have scored higher values of the Evaluation Index (E.I.) and could be selected in the same order for exploitation during unfavorable seasons in tropical climates.

조선후기(朝鮮後期) 충청도(忠淸道) 전의현(全義縣) 관아건축(官衙建築)의 배치구성(配置構成)에 관한 연구(硏究) (Site Layout of ChungChong-Do Chonui-hyon Government Office in the Late Chosen Dynasty)

  • This study is to analyze site layout traditional government office building focused on Chonui-hyon(全義縣) in Chungchong province with Chungchong-do regional maps(忠淸道地方地圖) and Eupjis(邑誌, topography) being compiled in the late Chosun dynasty. The conclusion of analysis can be summarized as follows; 1. Chonui-hyon(全義縣) in Chosun dynasty is gone with a planning principle of the capital city(Han-Seong, 漢城) with disposing Sa-Ji-Dan(社稷壇) and Gaek-Sa(客舍), which are placed to the left and right of Eupchi(邑治), and it is followed in the wake of the spatial structure of Chosun dynasty palace with disposing Dong-Heon(東軒) in front, Nae-A(內衙) at the back of it, or from side to side, also by the Dong-Heon of the center, with organizing each facility around it. 2. Dong-Heon and Gaek-Sa of Chonui-hyon is passed through three step gate, Mun-Ru(門樓), Woi-Sammun(外三門), Nae-Sammun(內三門), from Hong-Salmon(紅門), and are shown hierarchy by haying been placed at the end of approach axis. 3. Dong-Heon can be disposed by Feng-Shui(風水) which have influence on the southeast direction with Jin-San(鎭山) and An-Dae(案對), on the other hand, Gaek-Sa can be disposed by symbolic of the authority of a king. 4. Site layout by function of provincial government office is provided into four ferrite, Dong-Heon, Gaek-Sa, Nae-A, practical business territory, and eve territory is organized by official institution on a social position to radiation, by the compositive axis to be made Woi-Sammun Nae-Sammun Dong-Heon Nae-A 5. Approach process of Chnui-hyon government office is three door system similar to Kam-Young(監營) in a different way two door system in most provincial government office, also approach axis is formed by bending.

영국 치매요양소 3곳의 배회환경평가를 통한 개선안 (A Study on the Recommendations of the Wandering Pathway Through the Evaluation of the Environments in Three Dementia Units in the United Kingdom)

  • An evaluation of the environments in the wandering pathway of the dementia units was carried out. It is revealed that the quality of the environment for the wandering pathway of the sample units was very low. In particular, lacks of social environments in Unit-B and Unit-C, and lacks of orientation aids in all the sample units were shown. Therefore, re-design for the wandering pathway of the sample units is needed. Recommendations for improving the wandering pathway and having appropriate wandering pathway without any abrupt change in existing layout of the sample units were suggested, and the limits of this research is diagnosed. It is also shown that since evaluation categories used in this paper had very closed relationship each other, those evaluation categories can be used in other settings.

자동창고 시스템의 최적안 도출을 위한 모의실험적 연구 (A Simulation Study for Optimizing the Functionality of an Automated Storage and Retrieval System)

  • The functional role of warehouses in modern industry is changing from an established concept of storage to a concept of circulation. The target of this study is to improve the stacker crane's efficiency for the internal operations of the Automated Storage and Retrieval System (AS/RS). Eight operating schemes are proposed under the combination of three conditions, namely, the storing method, the layout type, and the sequence of command execution. The moving distance of the stacker crane is calculated using the same gateway data through a simulation based on a C# program. The optimal operating scheme is proposed based on the analyzed simulation results. In conclusion, the combination of conditions of random storage, two-way type warehouse, and dual command execution elicits optimum results in travel efficiency for the stacker crane.

성격유형별 미디어 작품선호도 조사를 통한 도시의 빛 미디어 축제 가이드라인에 관한 연구 (A Study of Urban Festival Guideline of Light Media Considering Personality Type of Preference on Media Arts)

  • The public festival has a positive function to produce more pleasure and better life to urban residents on viewpoint of culture marketing. A research of relation between urban festival's media light environmental and personality type of audiences would give a design guide line on selection of festival media contents. The scope of study festival bounds three urban fesitvals from two thousand eight to two thousand ten. The personaliy indicator is used by self-mootioring scale called NEO-PI-R that Synyder, psychologist established in 1987. This indicator divides into five classes - N: Neutroticism, E: Extaversoon, O: Openness, A: Agreeableness, C: Conscientiousness. As a result, Anaysis of urban festival's media light environments considering five personality type of audiences are described, N type prefers the change a lot and low stability. E type prefers three dimensional video and dynamic production with passionate pressure. O type prefers radiates objects to promote the imaginative creatures with speculation. A type prefers contemplation arts with one way direction. C type prefers orderly art layout with accomplishing intention. The statistics datas anaynize ten factors to describe the urban complicated fesitival guide line clearly.

AirSoft Gun 사용자를 위한 SMT(Smart Monitor Target)게임 인터페이스 개발 연구 (Development and Research of SMT(Smart Monitor Target) Game Interface for Airsoft Gun Users)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop a personalized SMT (smart monitor target) game interface for game users who enjoy airsoft sports as individual purchases of SMT have increased since the advent of the untouched era. For this study, the UX (user experience) of the game interface was designed based on previous research. In particular, the personalized game service was reinforced by adding the CP (command post) of the SMT system that performs the home function of the console game, which was intended to help the user maintain immersed in the game in the personalized space of the SMT. Major design elements for the SMT game interface included layout, color, graphics, buttons, and text, and the interface design was proceeded based on them. After composing a grid with a layout in which the tab function was applied to the interface with a vertical three-segment structure and the outer margin value secured, the military camouflage pattern and texture were applied to the colored tone to perform graphics work. Targets and thumbnails were produced as illustrations using experts to ensure the consistency of the interface, and then function buttons and texts on each page were used concisely for intuitive information delivery. The design sources organized in this way were developed using the Unity engine. In the future, we hope that game user-centered personalized interfaces will continue to develop and provide differentiated services unique to SMT systems in the airsoft gun market.
