의류소재의 주관적인 태평가 실험방법 연구 -시촉각, 시각, 촉각 방법비교- (Influence of the Sense of Sight & Touch, Sight, and Touch on the Evaluation of Subjective Fabric Hand)

  • The purpose of this research was to analyze how the evaluation method affects the subjective hand evaluation of fabrics and to suggest the efficient evaluation method. Three methods such as the sense of sight & touch, the sense of touch, and the sense of sight were respectively used when judges estimated the hand of fabrics using questionnaire. The result obtained by the method of touch was same as that by the method of sight & touch. The time required for the evaluation by these two methods was statistically same. Consequently, the method of touch has no attraction compared to that of touch & sight. In case of using the method of sight, 8 properties among 10 showed the same results as in the method of sight & touch. The properties of [moogupda/kabyupda] and [shinchuksung-e-itda/ shinchuksung-e-upda] evaluated with the sense of sight were different from the results obtained by the other methods. These properties seem to be difficult to evaluate only by seeing the fabric on the table. For the precise evaluation, it is necessary to show dynamic movement of the fabric. The time required for the evaluation by the sense of sight was shorter than that by the other two methods.

메뚜기를 이용한 초등학교 학생들의 관찰 능력 조사 (The Investigation on the Observation Ability of Elementary School Student about the Grasshopper(Oxya chinesis))

  • The enhancement of inquiry skills has been emphasized as a important objective of science education for a long time. Of these, the observation is not only a simple and basic skill, but also a very important skill, in aspect of gathering informations about the nature of all things around us, through interaction between the sense organs of body and objectives. The purpose of this study is to investigate the results of observations about the grasshopper(Oxya chinesis), made by the elementary student from the 3rd to the 6th grade, and to make use of them as the basic materials for the observative teaming and the evaluation of the observation ability. Through this study, the collected items of observation are as follows For grasshopper, a total of observation items is 95, 70 using the sight sense, 13 using the tactile sense,7 using the olfactory sense. 3 using the palate sense and 2 using the auditory sense. In this study, the findings of elementary student's observation are as follows. 1. On the whole, most of students have observed mainly by the sight and the tactile sense, when observing the grasshopper. 2. It is showed a tendency that the observation ability of student is increased with the higher grade in elementary school. 3. As the grade ascends. the observations with operating are increased, also the quantitative expression and interpretation about them are increased. 4. In the case of same grade, there is no significant difference between students' gender, though girls' ability of the observation showed somewhat higher than boys' 5. Occasionally, the interpretations on the observative facts made by student, are inaccurate. Basis on the above results, we suggested some directions for the improvement of the observative learning program in science classroom of elementary school. First, the teacher have to serve as a guide and encouragement in the observative learning class, to be accomplished the various observation, which all the sensory organ can be used by student than the sight sense. Second, to get elevated the ability of observation, it is necessary that some experimental tools(magnifying lens, stereoscope, auxiliary implements etc.) are utilized. Third, the teacher have to make often endeavors showing an example of operation, to be activated the atmosphere of operative observation.

수학교육에서 직관과 그 오류에 관한 고찰 (A Study on Intuition and Its Fallacy in Mathematics Education)

  • The purpose of this thesis is to search the situation of an outbreak of the fallacy and methods of its treatment. We regard intuition as origins of genuine knowledge, but it sometimes raises the fallacy by intrinsic characters of itself. It makes an examination of the fallacy of the sense of sight like an optical illusion to instance that of sense. The sense of sight is an important factor in an intuitive cognition. However, its activity without thinking raises the fallacy of intuition in the process to observe and judge the things. I point out the fallacy of intuition which originates from terms and concepts in mathematical problems. The concept of mean velocity is representative. In this case, students make a mistake which means velocity can be solved by dividing the sum of v$_1$ and v$_2$ into two. The methods which overcome the fallacy of intuition are balance of intuition and logic, overcome of functional fixedness, the development of intuitive models and the development of metacognitive ability.

아동 미각교육을 위한 쌀 Kit 개발 및 이를 활용한 미각 특성조사 (The Development of a Taste Kit for Education and Research into Sensory Characteristics)

  • This study was designed to measure taste sensitivity and the five basic senses by an educational classification instrument. The instrument was a rice kit that could use samples in a dry powder form or oil extract after long-term storage To test for taste, sucrose, salt, citric acid, and quinine sulfate were made at different concentrations and taste sensitivity was measured on a scale from level 1 to level 5. To obtain baseline data, an inspection tool for the five senses was used and randomly applied on 101 schoolchildren in the third and fourth grade in the city of Cheonan in Korea. The inspection tool was composed of 17 questions; 5 questions regarding visual characteristics and three questions each for characteristics regarding taste, hearing, smell, and touch. The average age of the schoolchildren was 9.5 years old and there were 49 third grade students (9 years of age), and 52 fourth grade students (ten years of age). There were slightly more male students than female students, 56 (55.4%) compared to 45 (44.6%), respectively. The average height of female students was higher than that of males, but the average BMI (body mass index) of the male students was slightly higher than that of female students (18.28 compared to 18.09, respectively). Female students were slightly more sensitive to salty tastes than male students (2.8 compared to 2.5, respectively). In the score distribution for each sense, touch sense was the highest at 7.59, sight sense was 7.49, hearing sense was 5.43, smell sense was 5.24, and taste sense was lowest at 3.69. Therefore, schoolchildren first tend to recognize and deem important the touch and sight of food before its taste.

시청각 상호작용과 멀티미디어 시대의 디자인교육 (Audio-visual Interaction and Design-education in the Age of Multimedia)

  • 멀티미디어 시대의 커뮤니케이션 디자이너는 색채, 형태, 시간, 움직임과 같은 시각적인 요소뿐만 아니라 사운드까지도 메시지를 전달하는 표현요소로서 인식하여야 한다. 잘 알려졌다시피 시각이나 청각 어느 하나만으로 메시지를 전달할 때보다 시청각을 조화시켜 메시지를 전달할 경우 인지도가 높기 때문이다. 시각과 청각의 만남은 공감각에 근거하는데 이것은 색채와 음, 형태와 사운드의 연상작용으로 나타난다. 기초적인 예를 들면 낮은 음은 어두운 색을 연상시키며 높은 음은 밝은 색을 연상시킨다. 또 타악기는 원을, 멜로디는 선을 연상시킨다. 멀티미디어에서 시각적 요소와 청각적 요소는 이전의 시청각매체에서와 달리 단순히 보이는 장면과 관련된 소리를 들려주는 동시성의 수준에서 벗어나 각각 독립적인 표현요소로 작용하여야 한다 이렇게 독립적인 표현요소로서의 시각과 청각이 만나서 상호작용을 일으킴으로써 그 중 어느 하나만으로는 도달할 수 없는 새로운 감동을 불러일으킬 수 있는 것이다. 멀티미디어 시대의 디자인 교육은 이렇게 시각과 청각의 상호작용의 원리를 이해하고 메시지를 시청각적으로 표현할 수 있는 능력을 개발하는 교육 프로그램을 필요로 한다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 교육 프로그램을 시청각 조형, 시청각 구성, 시청각 디자인으로 구분하여 구체적인 과제들을 예로서 제시하였다.

  • 시각은 일상생활이나 예술작품을 이해하고 표현하는데 가장 중요한 역할을 하는 신체적 기능 중의 하나이다. 우리의 오감 중 시각을 통하여 들어오는 사물 및 공간에 대한 총체적 인지의 정보는 80% 이상이다. 이는 인간의 시각적 기능이 감각과 지각에 얼마나 많은 영향을 미치는가를 입증하는 것이며, 그 영향은 사람들에게 다양한 정서적 감응을 불러일으키게 된다. 정서는 애니메이션 작품을 구성하는데 빼놓을 수 없는 중요한 요소로서 관객의 감동을 불러일으키기 위한 여러 가지의 장치를 필요로 한다. 어떠한 사건과 상황, 시간, 공간 등의 요소들은 관객의 정서적 경험을 위한 장치들이다.

  • In this paper, a new rehabilitation training system was developed to improve equilibrium sense by combining virtual reality technology with a fixed exercise bicycle. The subjects consisted of two groups. A group of young people, was compared against a group of elderly. We measured three different running modes of virtual bicycle system with two successive sets. The parameters measured were running time, velocity, the weight movement, the degree of the deviation from the road, and the variables about the center of pressure. The repeated training, our results showed that the running capability of the elderly improve compared, In addition, it was found out that the ability of postural control and the equilibrium sense was improved with the presentation of the visual feedback information of the distribution of weight. From the results of this experiment, we showed that our newly developed system might be useful in the diagnosis of equilibrium sense or in the improvement of the sense of sight and, somatic, and vestibular sense of the elderly in the field of rehabilitation training.

직물의 Drape성에 관한 연구 -Drap 계수를 중심으로 - (A study on the Drapability of woven fabrics - With the Drape Coefficient -)

  • There are two standards for evaluation of fabric aesthetics, the feeling of fabric and the fabric sense of sight. Its drapalility with lustre is one of factors to decide the fabric sense of sight. This study was carried out to investigate the drape property property of fabrics. The fabric characteristics and the physisical properties of fabrics were tested. And the effect of the laundering on the drape properties was examined. RESULTS : 1. The drape coefficients of sampled fabrics were increasd as the thickness of fabrics were increased, excluding the fabric consisting of 60% polyester$\times$40% wool. 2. The drape coefficient of sampled fabrics were decreased as the cover faders of fabrics were increased, excluding the summer clothes and the fabrics of 100% wool. 3. The drape coefficients of fabrics other than sumer clothes were increased as the weight of fabrics were in creased. 4. Positive correlation was observed between the stiffness and the drape coefficient. 5. Negative correlation was observed between the fabric shrinkage and the drape coefficient. 6. The drape coefficient was decreased to a certain limit by laundering.But as the laundering was repeated up to certain number, the drape coefficient and the node number, a significant correlation was observed between the drape coefficient and the node shape.

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between weight of fabrics and texture and sensibility and preference of consumers for F/W women's jacket fabrics. Structural Equation Model(SEM) using AMOS program was conducted to analyze the relationships. Then, this study aimed to provide useful information in planning designing fabrics through predicting the subjective characteristics analyzed. The main survey was developed the 7-point semantic differential scale of subjective texture, sensibility and preference. Fifty trained female panelists of 20-30 years old were participated and questionnaire method was used with 20 kind of fabric. The evaluation methods such as by the sense of sight & touch were used when fabrics were estimated subjectively. When evaluated by the sense of sight & touch, fabric's weight did not have effect directly on preference, but had effect indirectly on preference through the texture and the sensibility..

  • Human uses sight, tactile sense to evaluate Total Hand Value(FUUAI) of textile fabrics. Tactile sense is important factor which decided the Total Hand Value of a textile fabric. When human feels the FUUAI, physical and physiological phenomena are occurred in finger. We first found out physical variable that is happened in fingertip when human is feeling the FUUAI. Such physical variable means characteristic of action tactual motion of finger such as moving range, tactile time, moved distance, speed of finger and applied force by finger. We study the relationship between action tactual motion and the ability in which the human distinguishes the textile fabric. As a result, we could know the characteristics of the tactual motion of fingertip to get high distinguishable ability. The characteristics were different in men and women respectively. In the case of man, touched time and moving range influenced to distinguish, and moving range, and the moving speed of finger influenced, in woman's case.
