The prevalence of sports drink use among subjects at ordinary time, after training, and after competition were 9.0%, 17.1%, and 57.3% respectively. Primary source of sports drink information were advertisement (57.3%), friends or colleagues (14.9%), and coaches (7.0%) The purchase of sports drink was done by athletes themselves (76.0%) and coaches (22.6%). The most influential factor in choice of sports drink was taste (61.5%), brand name (15.1%), composition (12.4%), and advertisement (6.7%) However, only 9.5% of the subjects answered they know well about the sports drink they are drinking. To the 15 questions to survey the nutritional knowledge about fluid and intake of sports drink, subjects responded correctly to 58.47%. Their sex or experiences of nutrition education didn#t affect to their knowledge. As the result, the prevalence of collegiate athletes# sports drink use was high but their knowledge about it was not sufficient. These results suggest that an effective and practical nutrition education for adequate hydration and choice of sports drink for atheletes should be considered.

The preference for the processed meat products had a relatively high perception value(4.0). However, the effect of consuming processed meat products on nutrition and health had a relatively low perception value(2.9). Reasons for distrusting the processed meat products were attributed to 'bad influence by media'(25.9%) and the 'unsanitary manufacture'(23.6%). In regards to the question about sodium nitrite, most of the students(56.2%) replied that they had 'never heard of it' or 'didn't know it well'. • Model house play an important role in the sale of apartments. However, model house can create social and environmental problems. Virtual reality's (VR) use for the creation of model house has been studied as a possible counter measure to these problems. Existing models don't satisfy consumers' queries. A virtual model house can give the experience of seeing a real home through simulation. Also, a virtual model house can allow a home buyer to change the furniture on display or the color of the walls to reflect the consumer's taste in the construction. The internal present condition system using absorption style virtual reality and open style virtual reality are the indispensable tools that are going to take the place of the current model home. A virtual model house is more profitable than a physical model house because of reduced costs and time savings. In addition, a virtual model house can offer new kinds of information that a physical model home can not. This study's purpose is to discuss the desired direction of the virtual model house in this crucial and dynamic period of development.

  • Korean native ducks (KNDs) continue to have a high preference from consumers due to their excellent meat quality and taste characteristics. However, due to low productivity and fixed plumage color phenotype, it could not secure a large share in the domestic market compared to imported species. In order to improve the market share of KNDs, the genetic characteristics of the breed should be identified and used for improvement and selection. Therefore, this study was conducted to identify the genetic information of colored and white KNDs using next-generation resequencing data and screening for differences between the two groups. As a result of the analysis, the genetic variants that showed significant differences between the colored and white KND groups were mainly identified as mutations related to tyrosine activity. The variants were located in the genes that affect melanin synthesis and regulation, such as EGFR, PDGFRA, and DDR2, and these were reported as the candidate genes related to plumage pigmentation in poultry. Therefore, the results of this study are expected to be useful as a basis for understanding and utilizing the genetic characteristics of KNDs for genetic improvement and selection of white broiler KNDs.
