Metal materials have been used in the clothing design on the spirit of ingenious experiment by fashion designers, and they have been put to practical use by several designers who work out a scheme of popular fashion merchandise. This current starting from the 1960s was weakened in the 1980s, but it was appeared with various shapes of metal materials in the 1990s due to a popularity of techno/cyber fashion. Recently, textile engineering technology causes to develop new-materials which are practical and sanitary. The development of fashionable metal materials brings about the popularization of fashion with metal materials, and it induces that mainstream of modem fashion has been changed into designers of pursuing the spirit of ingenious experiment. This study examines the formative characteristics of metal materials that are based on the spirit of ingenious experiment. As a result, it is evaluated that the formative of metal materials shown in modern fashion is futurism, visual concentration, avast-garde, resistance, precious.

Experiment teaching is an important part for science and engineering colleges, teaching through different pilot projects: First, help students to consolidate the theory of operation; second, trail students the capacity and the ability to solve practical problems. 『레드 북』은 칼 융이 자기 자신에게 행했던 심리학적 실험을 기록한 책이며, 자신의 개성화 과정에 대한 체험을 묘사하고 있다. 『레드 북』은 융이 '깊은 곳의 정신'에 사로잡혀 '이 시대의 정신'을 전복하고 무의식으로 내려가 자신의 심혼을 되찾는 과정, 심혼이 심혼-심령의 쌍으로 분화되는 과정, 그리고 인간정신의 심연으로부터 대극의 형태로 다가오는 신의 이미지를 직면하는 과정을 다루고 있다. '깊은 곳의 정신'은 개성화 과정의 시작을 알리는 집단적 무의식의 발현이었으며, '아직 오지 않은 신'의 도래였다. 융은 그때까지 자신의 삶을 지배했던 집단정신의 한계를 자각하고 집단적 무의식이 인도하는 새로운 삶의 영역으로 들어섰다. 그 여정에서 먼저 잃어버린 자신의 심혼과 조우했고, 살로메-엘리야, 헬레나-시몬, 바우키스-필레몬의 쌍으로 나타난 심혼-심령의 다양한 양상들을 체험했다. 개성화 과정 초기의 심혼 체험은 의식을 어둡게 하고 사로잡는 악마적인 기세로 먼저 다가온다. 『레드 북』의 전반적인 내용은 융이 그 악마적인 기세를 받아들이는 것과 그 기세의 의미를 깨달아가는 과정으로 이루어져 있다. 심혼의 정동적으로 사로잡는 측면에 대한 체험은 신의 어두운 측면인 사탄에 대한 자각으로 이어졌고, 그 체험 과정에서 얻은 일련의 통찰력은 신의 밝은 측면인 그리스도에 대한 자각으로 이어졌다. 이런 분화 과정을 통하여 결국에는 신의 대극성을 직면하였다. 그리고 융은 인간의 정신 안에 나타나는 신의 이미지인 자기(the-Self)의 출현을 언급했다. 그런 체험을 통해 훗날 융은 인간의 무의식으로부터 의식으로 육화하는 정신적 실체로서의 신을 경험 과학적인 측면에서 밝혀냈다. 신성의 육화 과정은 인간의 심리적 갈등과 고통의 원인이기도 하지만, 의식적으로 받아들이면 그것이 바로 인간 삶의 궁극적인 목적이요 의미임을 구명하였다.

본 시험은 고랭지에서 착색단고추의 접목재배로 토경재배시 지하부 환경개선을 통해 토양전염성 병을 예방하고, 수량성을 향상시키고자 저항성 대목들을 수집하여 접목재배하여 생육, 수량 및 병저항성을 비교하였다. 접수는 적색계인 스피리트품종을 사용하였다. 역병균을 접종한 결과 자근묘인 Spirit는 접종 후 5일 만에 100% 고사하였고, 저항성이 높은 대목으로는 탄탄대목, Skurt-S, AC 2258, PST 8301 등 4품종이었다. 또한 청고병에 저항성이 높은 대목으로는 역강, 탄탄대목, TE 412, 갤럭시, MC 4, PST VK, PST NV 등 7품종이었다. 접목구는 지근묘에 비해 근중이 무거워 지하부의 환경개선효과가 뚜렷하였다. 접목과 비접목에 따른 과실의 외적 ${\cdot}$ 내적인 품질은 큰 차이가 없었다. 수량성이 높은 대목은 PST 8301, MC 4, 왕건 등이었다.

Using dispersants is known to be an effective solution to accelerate the natural dispersion and being an appropriate oil spill response strategy. By breaking up large oil chunks into small droplets, dispersants are generally intended to help reducing further oil exposures and slicks. Collecting property data of circulating crude oil in South Korea and understanding the interaction between crude oils and dispersions need to be preceded for the effective dispersant use. This paper provides an property analysis of three selected oils which have the same composition of spilt oils from the Herbei Spirit Incident and conducts an emulsification and toxicity experiment with selected domestic and foreign dispersants. Results will present a direction of future domestic dispersants' development which aimed at eco-friendly and safety.

Leslie Marmon Silko, in her novel Gardens in the Dunes, primarily focuses on revealing the white colonialists' plan to exterminate and destroy American Indians and their culture. In this regard, this novel is clearly an Indian counter narrative to interrogate and abrogate the authority of the oppressive and destructive discourse of the whites who are full of colonialist impulses to sterilize Indians and their culture. However, it should be noted that Silko is very careful not to insist on cultural exclusivism and reverse ethnocentrism, since these only mean a return to the violent colonialists' discourse based on dualism and cultural authenticity which, she believes, has led to the marginalization and eventual deterioration of Indians and their culture. White values and culture are something to recognize and tolerate as long as they are not the products of witchery, also known as the destroyer or evil for Silko, which promotes disruption and antagonism between races and classes. As she reveals in her interview, her major concern in the novel is to dismantle political and/or racial distinctions like Native Americans versus EuroAmericans and thus to enhance the idea of the reconciliation and coexistence of whites and Indians. Silko's Gardens in the Dunes can be regarded as an experiment in the possibility of the universal and homogeneous (at least in its roots) global culture which tolerates all forms of culture. Global culture does not mean a uniform totalitarian culture but a vision of a harmonious world characterized by hybridity and heterogeneity, in which different cultures associate freely without the notion of inferiority or superiority of any one culture. Silko's belief in syncretism emphasizes the spirit of tolerance and exchange between different cultures, dismantling the authority of exclusive ethnocentrism. The ultimate message implied in Gardens in the Dunes is that the syncretic spirit is not only an effective means to correct the white colonialists' hegemonic desire aimed at the extermination of Indians and their culture but also a source of energy for the life and prosperity of modern Indians and their societies.

The off-road tractive performance of tracked vehicles can be evaluated in terms of soil thrust, motion resistance and drawbar pull. The ability to predict accurately ground pressure distribution under track is of importance since the vehicle sinkage and motion resistance are closely related to it. While the formulation of the method for predicting ground pressure distribution follows closely in spirit the ideas outlined for the terrain with linear pressure- sinkage relation case by Garber and Wong, the analysis of various terrain stiffness is magnified by numerical implementation procedure. The effects of soil parameters on tractive forces can be introduced through the terrain-track interaction such as pressure-sinkage and shearing characteristics. It is illustrated by determining the drawber pull-slip relation and corresponding ground pressure distribution for the terrains typically chosen and by comparing the results with the conventional ones based on normal ground pressure. The factorial experiment method is finally adopted for checking the sensitivity of the values of soil parameters on the drawbar pull.

Written as her last collaboration with the Provincetown Players, Susan Glaspell's The Verge is an exceptional play in that its formal experiment and modernist theme are clear of her general modernist ambivalence which combines a uniquely American and feminist expression of the modernist spirit with rather conventional forms. Following critics' brief and generalizing comments on the play's protagonist embodying modernist formalism and alienation, this paper offers a full and concrete survey detailing the tenets and the slogans of Modernism inlaid in the play. Its main argument is that Glaspell strategically deployed the metaphysics of egoism, anarchic hostility to the collectiveness of bourgeois society, and formalist preoccupation in Modernism in representing a female egoist's longing for a new order of society, illustrating an intersection between Modernism and feminism. It concludes that The Verge is an extremely rare case of modernist literature where a play, allegedly the least modernist genre of all according to Christopher Innes, exemplifies the "eloquent critical acts entangled in the creative work" which Michael Levenson lists as a distinct feature of modernist texts.

We look at the problem of defuzzification in situations in which in addition to the usual fuzzy output of the controller there exists some ancillary restriction on the allowable defuzzified values. We provide two basic approaches to address this problem. In the first approach we enforce the restriction by selecting the defuzzified value through a random experiment in which the values which have nonzero probabilities are in the allowable region, this method is based on the RAGE defuzzification procedure and makes use of a nonmonotonic conjunction operator. The second approach which in the spirit of the commonly used methods, a kind of expected value, converts the problem to a constraint optimization problem.

국가정보정책은, 변화를 예상하고 그러한 변화를 자신에게 유리하게 전환시킬 수 있어야하고, 종래의 방법이 더 이상 적합치 않을 때는 폐기시킬 수 있어야 하며, 또한 새로운 방법이 나타나면 그것을 실험할 수 있도록 하기 위하여, 융통성을 가져야 한다. 이러한 융통성은 정책 결정 차원에서의‘정신적 활기’와‘기업가정신’을 의미하는데, 이 두가지 자질은 다른 국가정책을 위해서도 마땅히 필요하지만 부족한 경우가 일반적이다.
