소셜큐레이션과 광고 - 버티컬 SNS에서 표현된 패션브랜드 이미지의 메시지 전략 - (Social curation as an advertising tool - Message strategy of fashion brand images on vertical SNS -)

  • This paper examines advertising images of fashion brands in vertical social network site (SNS) from the viewpoints of message strategies. Vertical social network sites are types of social curation systems applied to social networking, where information is selected, organized, and maintained. Fashion brands communicate with consumers by presenting images on vertical SNSs, anticipating improvements in brand image, popularity, and loyalty. Those images portray content for particular brands and seasonal concepts, thus creating paths for product sales information. Marketing via SNSs corresponds to relationship marketing, which refers to long-term interrelationship and value augmentation between the company and consumer, and viral advertising, which relies on word of mouth distribution via social network platforms. Taylor's six-segment message strategy wheel, often used for analyzing viral ads, was applied to conduct a content analysis of the images. A total of 2,656 images of fashion brands advertised on Instagram were selected and analyzed. Results indicated that brand values were somewhat related to the number of followers. Follower rankings and comment rankings were also correlated. In general, fashion brands projected sensory messages most often. Acute need and rational messages were less common than other messages. Sports brands and luxury brands presented sensory messages, whereas fast fashion brands projected routine images most often. 외식 산업 해외 브랜드와 국내 브랜드의 브랜드 자산 구성 요소에 관한 연구 (The Composition Factors of Brand Equity in Domestic and Foreign Brands in the Foodservice Industry)

  • Brand equity has been treated conspicuously since the late 1980s. The purpose of this study was to develop a model brand equity model by examining the structural relationship among dimensions (brand loyalty, perceived quality, brand association/image, brand awareness) of brand equity, to compare differences between local brands and multinational brands. For this study, a total of 540 survey questionnaires were analyzed the results. All results were conducted using the frequency, factor analysis, regression and t-test procedure of the SPSS 12.0 package. The t-test revealed that consumers expose that recognize foreign brand constituents as better than domestic brand constituents. The determinant factors of brand equity were summarized as brand loyalty, perceived quality, brand association/ image, and brand awareness. Among these, four factors had a significant affected on the level of brand equity. Specifically, there was a difference between domestic brand and foreign brands. Among domestic brands the level of brand equity was significantly affected by brand loyalty, brand association/image, and brand awareness. However foreign brands were significantly affected by brand loyalty and perceived quality.

중국 진출 한국 패션 브랜드의 CSR 적합성이 소비자 만족 및 브랜드 태도에 미치는 영향과 자민족 중심주의의 조절효과 (The Influence of Korean Fashion Brands' CSR Fit with Chinese Consumers on Consumer Satisfaction and Brand Attitude Moderated by Ethnocentrism)

  • To help korean fashion brands establish CSR activities in the chinese market in the future, this study investigated the influence of korean fashion brands' CSR fit with Chinese Consumers on Consumer Satisfaction and brand attitude, with the moderating effect of ethnocentrism. An online survey was conducted with 20-39 year-old consumers in China from April 18 to April 30, 2021. Data analysis was conducted using SPSS 24.0 and Amos 24.0. The results of this paper are as follows. First, environmental CSR fit had the greatest impact on consumer satisfaction, followed by financial CSR fit and social contribution CSR fit. Second, environmental CSR fit and social contribution CSR fit had positive effects on brand attitude, while financial CSR fit did not have a positive effect on brand attitude. Third, as customer satisfaction has a favorable effect on brand attitude, it can be inferred that the greater the satisfaction customers feel for a Korean fashion brand in China, the more positive the attitude they develop toward Korean brands. Fourth, there was no significant difference between groups that had a high and low degree of ethnocentrism, confirming that ethnocentrism does not have a moderating effect on consumer satisfaction. On the other hand, in the relationship between environmental and social contribution CSR fit and brand attitude, there was a greater impact in the low ethnocentrism group compared with the high ethnocentrism group, which verifies the moderating effect of ethnocentrism.

남성 캐쥬얼 웨어 점포의 서비스품질에 따른 고객만족과 관계 마케팅 (Customer Satisfaction and Relationship Marketing according to Service Quality of Men's Character Casual Clothing Brand Stores)

  • This study had a focus on service quality, customer satisfaction and relationship orientation. The subjects of this study were: 1) to examine the conceptual structure of service quality perceived by males consumers of character clothing brands, 2) to examine of the service quality on customer satisfaction, and 3)to examine relationship between customer satisfaction and relationship orientation. The questionnaire was collected between October, 28 and November, 8 in 2002. Samples of 271 respondents were obtained. The sample consisted of males in their twenties and thirties who had a experience on buying character clothing brands in Seoul. To analyze the data, reliability analysis, percentage, frequency analysis, factor analysis, correlation analysis, and regression analysis were applied. The results were as followings: 1) As a result of factor analysis, the service quality were identified by four dimensions: environmental service, personal service, products service, and promotion service. 2) As a result of correlation analysis and regression analysis, the service quality had a positive influence on customer satisfaction. Especially products service was the most important factor for customer satisfaction, followed by environmental service. 3) As a result of correlation analysis, customer satisfaction had a positive influence on relationship orientation.

The Antecedents and Consequences of Effective Brand Positioning

  • This study investigates which variables most effectively influence the positioning strategy of a brand. In addition, we test the connection between the positioning strategy of the brand and loyalty. Finally, we explore how brand experience effects the relationship between brand position and brand loyalty. To this end, this study employs the street-intercept method to collect data on consumers' perception of home appliances in Japan and conducts structural equation modeling analysis to test our hypotheses. Specifically, we find that assessments of product, service, and image have a significant impact on a brand's position which, in turn, drives brand loyalty. In addition, brand experience seems to moderate the relationship between service and brand positioning effectiveness. We also find that price promotions negatively affect brand loyalty. The research provides a consumer-centered, experiential view of how firms can develop strategies to more effectively position brands and increase loyalty among their customers. These results help both academics and practitioners to better understand how consumers assess a brand's position in the marketplace.

브랜드경험과 긍정적 감정이 소비자-브랜드관계에 미치는 영향 -스마트폰 브랜드를 중심으로 (The Influence of Brand Experience and Positive Emotion on Consumer-brand Relationship -Focusing on smartphone brand)

  • 본 연구는 소비자가 실제 제품이나 브랜드 사용 이외에 광고나 판매촉진 등 기업의 마케팅활동에 의해서도 브랜드를 경험할 수 있고 이러한 경험을 통하여 자아인식과 소비자-브랜드관계가 향상될 수 있음을 밝히고자 하였다. 총 248명을 대상으로 갤럭시S 스마트폰 브랜드에 대한 조작물로 브랜드를 경험하게 한 결과 브랜드경험 이후 긍정적 감정과 자아인식이 향상되었고, 긍정적 감정 또한 자아인식을 향상시킬 수 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 실제 브랜드를 이용하여 브랜드경험이 자아인식에 미치는 효과를 검증하였다는 점에서 중요하다. 또한 브랜드경험과 이를 통한 자아인식의 향상은 소비자-브랜드관계에 유의한 영향을 미치게 되며 궁극적으로 만족도, 추천의도 및 재구매 의도 등을 포함하는 브랜드 애호도까지 영향을 미치게 된다. 따라서 강력하고 매력적인 브랜드를 경험하는 것은 소비자에게 긍정적 감정의 형성이라는 혜택을 줄 수 있으며, 기업차원에는 소비자-브랜드관계를 통하여 구매의도 및 추가지불의도에까지 영향을 미칠 수 있는 관계를 밝혀낸 점이 주목할 만하다.

  • 현대인들이 브랜드와의 관계에 선호하는 것은 전통과 공동체가 무너짐에 따라 안정적인 대상이 없기 때문이며, 대중들은 이때 발생하는 심리적인 공허함을 소비자와 브랜드의 관계를 통하여 채워나감으로써 빠르게 변화하는 세상에서 안정된 심리상태를 유지할 수 있게 되는 것이다. 본 연구는 융복합 아파트 브랜드가 브랜드 애호도에 미치는 영향관계에서 관계품질의 매개효과를 분석하는 것이다. 분석의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 브랜드의 이미지가 애호도에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 브랜드의 이미지가 관계품질에 정의(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째 관계품질 소비자-브랜드가 브랜드 이미지와 애호도에 매개될 것이다. 연구결과로 아파트 건설사들이 소비자에게 느끼는 브랜드 이미지와 애호도와의 영향관계와 소비자 관계품질의 매개효과 결과로 마케팅 전략을 효율적으로 집행할 수 있고 이에 따른 전략도 추구할 수 있다.

The Effect of Brand Familiarity on Green Claim Skepticism in Distribution Channel

  • Purpose: This study aims to explore the impact of green products' claim skepticism on green purchase intention and further investigates the moderating role of environmental concern in the relationship. This study, by drawing the persuasion knowledge model expected that ambiguity avoidance penalizes less familiar brands than familiar brands. Further, the present study building on Hofstede's cultural dimension, specifically, uncertainty avoidance, undertook a scenario to understand any difference that exist between uncertainty avoidance cultural groups. This study also investigates gender differences in green claim skepticism and proclivity to purchase green products. Research design, data, and methodology: For analyzing the relationship relevant hypotheses were designed, and R-programming software was used. To test the hypotheses two independent sample t-test and regression analysis were carried out. Results: The results suggest that consumers' skepticism toward green claims influenced the intention to purchase eco-friendly products. The study finding also confirms the effect is moderated by environmental concern. Also, the findings of two scenarios reveal that consumers in high uncertainty avoidance culture exhibited a greater level of skepticism for green print advertising and green packaging claims when the brand in the advertising and packaging was unfamiliar than when it was familiar. Conclusions: To alter the negative effect of skepticism the consumer should believe the environmental claims are valid so that they can contribute to solving sustainability issues.

백화점 내 신규 패션 브랜드 평가 기준과 브랜드 태도에 관한 연구 (New Fashion Brands in Department Stores: Evaluation Criteria and Attitudes)

  • 본 연구는 소비자가 처음으로 접하는 신규 패션 브랜드에 대해 적용시키는 평가기준을 밝히는데 그 목적이 있다. 브랜드 평가기준에 대한 연구로서 다음의 세가지 논점을 강조함으로써 선행연구와 구별되는 차별점을 가진다. 첫 번째로는 본 연구가 개별 제품이나 점포를 포함하는 패션브랜드 수준에 대한 통합적인 평가기준을 밝힌다는 점이다. 두 번째로는 이미 형성된 태도에 의해 영향을 받는 기존 브랜드에 대한 평가기준이 아닌 새로운 브랜드에 대한 최초의 평가기준을 밝히며 본 연구에서의 "신규 브랜드"는 소비자가 처음으로 점포내를 둘러보고 충분한 직접적 정보를 바탕으로 평가를 한다는 점에서 소비자의 관점에서의 새로운 브랜드로 조작적 정의가 되고 있다는 점이다. 마지막으로 전국적으로 유통되는 대부분의 패션 브랜드가 백화점 내에 입점되는 국내의 현실을 고려하여 소비자가 지각하는 백화점과의 관제의 질과 입점되어 있는 신규 패션 브랜드 평가와의 관련성을 분석하였다 오백 삼십 칠 명의 여성 소비자에 대한 온라인 조사를 통해 신규 패션브랜드를 평가하는 평가기준 요인 (상품 파워, 점포 내 커뮤니케이션, 브랜드 및 회사 이미지, 판매원, VMD, 구색의 다양성)을 도출하고 이들이 브랜드 태도에 미치는 영향을 회귀모형을 통해 검증하였다. 또한 백화점 관제질의 차이에 따른 신규브랜드 평가 기준과 브랜드 태도의 관련성도 분석하였다.

Effects on Consumers' Behavior through Psychological Brand Community of Well-Being Consumers

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the factors that enhance brand identity among the four relationship factors in the well-being industry: brand relationships, product relationships, employee relationships, and other customer relationships, and to examine the impact between consumers' brand identity and committed behaviors performed by consumers of brand equality, promotion, cooperation, and advocacy. Research design, data and methodology: The models designed in this study were proposed based on prior studies and the survey was conducted on well-being consumers for empirical testing of the models. Valid samples of a total of 350 data collected were analyzed using the SAS 9.4 statistical package programs, and the results for the structural equation model analysis are as follows. Results: First, the three relationships in the brand community have all been shown to improve brand identity, but the product relationship has had a negative significant effect. Second, consumers' brand identity has had a strong effect of promoting both committed behavior, cooperation and advocacy. Conclusions: Based on these analysis results, the theoretical implications of the well-being industry were presented, and effective practical implications were presented to the well-being operators and the community operators of well-being brands.
