The purpose of this study is to investigate the trends of model and modeling-related research in science education from 1989 to 2016 in Korea. Eighty-five (85) models and modeling-related journal articles were extracted from the KCI-listed journals and analyzed according to the criteria such as participants, research fields, research design, methods, data collection and elements of metamodeling knowledge. According to research participants, three out of four (3/4) were studied for students and the rest were for teachers. More than half of the studies for students were conducted with middle and high school students. The research fields of models and modeling-related researches in science education were comprised of earth science, chemistry, biology science, physics and science course. With regards to research design, the highest type is qualitative research and followed by hybrid research and quantitative research. According to research methods, the most numerous researches that were analyzed was the effectiveness of program, which was a developed model and modeling-related research. The analysis from the elements of the metamodeling knowledge showed most of model and modeling-related research utilized for the change of scientific concept or understanding.
Hologram can be categorized into analog and digital hologram but there's a clear limitation in expensive equipment and content realization for ordinary people to realize. In addition, it's required to conduct study on hologram contents with interaction added, escaping out of exiting stable format like endlessly repetitive contents or passive view through specific video. Therefore, this article aims to suggest fusion image system, especially focusing on floating hologram among similar holograms. Eight elements of hologram interaction are as follows: height of camera in a three-dimensional space, interval between 3D model, overlapped model, scale, animation, position, color and 3D model change. For the floating hologram, the audience can control by themselves in real time, the popular, active hologram contents-making methodology is suggested by making the best use of fusion image system and making floating hologram easily without using expensive hologram equipment. The image system developed in actual exhibition and feedback should be complemented to develop better hologram image system.
Software development methodology has been developed for satisfying goals of improvement in productivity and reduction in time-to-market through the reuse of software assets. The current methods that implement software product-line, one of software development methodologies, interfere massively with the core assets, which require high cost in assembly level reducing the effectiveness. In this paper, we introduce Aspect-Oriented Programming (AOP) as a method for improving assembly process in software product-line. The method that assembles core assets and variabilities is described by grammar elements such as Join point, pointcut and advice without code-change. We analyze requirements of a mini-system as an example adapting AOP and design using UML. Our study implements the variabilities, which are from design stage, using an Aspect-Oriented Programming Language, AspectJ and prove usability and practicality by implementing the proposed idea using an Aspect-Oriented Programming Language, AspectJ.

This study examines the functionality and landscape design specifics of the outdoor space of representative commercial multi-complexes in Korea in order to overview the design trends of outdoor landscaping trends. Through surveying the composition of outdoor spaces along with their relation to the surrounding landscape, open spaces, and the neighboring communities, this paper identified the change in trends regarding the characteristics of outdoor landscape planning and acknowledged the enhanced public value of outdoor space. This study asserts that the characteristics of outdoor spaces can best be understood by examining the ways in which the outdoor space relates to adjoining commercial multi-complexes and the surrounding landscape. Focusing on the relationships that outdoor space establishes, commercial multi-complexes can be categorized as follows: in/outdoor separated type, in/outdoor semi-open type, surrounding landscape-projected type, and surrounding landscape-combined type. By studying the landscape design specifics of the outdoor space of representative cases of each type, the following has been concluded: First, the amount of outdoor space has expanded in terms of importance and function while serving to assist in various activities and participatory experiences, and no longer merely serves as a backdrop of commercial facilities. Second, with the strengthened connectivity between in/outdoor spaces, the elements of outdoor surroundings are more actively introduced indoors to improve amenities. Through directly connecting certain indoor program spaces with outdoor spaces, commercial multi-complexes tend to provide richer combined experiences. Third, with the expansion of outdoor space functionality, commercial multi-complexes are increasingly recognized as a quasi-public space, making good example of liminal space. In light of the recent case of development plans linked with public open spaces in suburban settings, commercial landscape design shows the possibility of creating an open space that can function as a center for local culture and green networks in the community.
Entry and exits of the rest area are sections where designed speed can be rapidly change and also a weak traffic safety section. In addition, two tasks can be performed simultaneously at entry of the rest area, particularly searching for deceleration and parking spaces/parking sides etc. Thus, design criteria is required in order to procure the stability of accessed vehicle. In case of Korea, geometric structure design criteria of entry facilities, such as toll-gate, interchange, junction etc was established. However there are no presence in a detailed standards for geometric structure of the rest area which affiliated road facilities. In this study, Derive problems in regards to the entry of geometric structure of resting areas by utilizing a sight survey and an investigation research of traffic accidents. The survey was targeting 135 general service areas. After Classifying the design section of resting areas' entry as well as derive design elements on each section, a speed measurement by targeting entry of rest areas and car behavior surveys were performed, then each element's minimum standard was derived through the analyses. According to the speeds at the starting/end point of entrance connector road, the minimum length of the entrance connector road is decided as 40m using Slowing-down length formula and based on the driving pattern, the range of the junction setting angle of the entrance connector road is defined as $12^{\circ}{\sim}17^{\circ}$. Suggest improvement plans for existing rest areas that can be applied realistically. This should be corresponded to the standards of entry and exit of developed rest areas.

The study analyzed how F. L. Wright's architectural design concept changed based on Taliesin West (1940). According to the analysis, F. L. Wright was also influenced by the ancient Mayan civilization in addition to the Froebel block and Japanese culture. Wright realized the design style of Mayan civilization directly at the Biltmore Hotel, which is located near Taliesin West. Later, Wright's architectural design elements changed considerably. In particular, the local characteristics of Arizona, where Taliesin West is located, desert climate, and Cherokee Red, the color of ocatilla cactus growing in the desert, have been applied in his symbolic colors of his architecture. The following is a summary of the changed design concepts compared to before 1940: 1) A square module was used for floor plans before 1940 that later changed to a design concept called a circle and spiral. 2) The form of a column that simply emphasized its verticality changed to various shapes. 3) The gable roofs used in the early days of Wright's architecture changed to various forms that rose into the sky after 1940. This change was seen as the culmination of potential experiences that had not been realized before 1940.

In a situation where the medical care field is developing from various angles, medical promotion video analysis has an important meaning. It is important as a matter of improving competitiveness, and in the era of acceleration of AI systems, medical care is also the leading field. Accordingly, the importance of videos on publicity, advertisements, and explanations is very important, and it is also an important direction to change the image of a company. In this study, the design characteristics and differences in the video were compared, focusing on the comparative analysis of professional videos of AI medical brands, with two foreign major companies (Stryker and Hill-rom) and one domestic leading company (Nine Bell), and detailed part analysis and section analysis were performed accordingly. As a technical partial analysis of image editing, the transition method and infographic graphics were considered. In an in-depth comparison, we found that AI medical imaging Points such as differences in image tone and image color harmony were analyzed and compared. For a detailed analysis in the video image determination part, we compared and studied the differentiated elements appearing in the promotional design and specific scenes of the video intro part and the product description video part of each video.

The purpose of this article is to analyze the conceptual change of nine 11th graders after implementing the model-based instruction of blood circulation by multidimensional framework, and to find some implications about teaching strategies for improving conceptual understanding. The model-based instruction consisted of 4 periods: (1) introduction for inducing students' interests using an episode in the science history of blood circulation, (2) vivisectional experiment on rats, (3) visual-linguistic model instruction using the videotape of heartbeat, and (4) modeling activity on the path of blood flow. Based on the data from pre-test, post-test and interviews, we classified students' models on the path of blood flow, and investigated their ontological features and the conceptual status of blood circulation. Most students could describe the path of blood flow and the changes of substances in blood precisely after the instructions. However, the modeling activity were not sufficient to improve students' understanding of the mechanisms of the blood distribution throughout various organs and the material exchanges between blood and tissues. From the interview of 9 students, we acquired informative results about conceptual status elements that were helpful to, preventing from, or not used for students' understanding. It was also found that conceptual status of students depended on the ontological categories into which students' conceptions of blood circulation fell. The results of this study can help design the effective teaching strategy for the understanding of concept of the equilibrium category.
The current study investigated the position of future strategy analyzed from the perspective of design management in relation to 10 strategic industries implemented through 3 steps based on promising growth and advancement of Busan industries and evidence provided from a study on the development program of design industry in Busan. It elucidated the role of design industry as a key role from the perspective of design management in an age of creative revolution of futures values. It analyzed the associations between composition of future strategy and design industry in 10 strategic industries of Busan, and explained the relationships with the strategic industries. The perspective of design management involves that design as a ground of values is an industry of the future values, which performs a key strategic function and role, and a theoretical investigation examined the relationships between main functions of design management and business management. Chapter 3 organized items proposed in the design development program in Busan and examined goals and systems which become basic formation of establishment of design strategy in Busan and conditions for design industry in the associations with strategic industry. Chapter 4 described priorities of practicability by step through analyzing and grouping top 30 projects in Busan industry including meanings as key strategy, position relations, and policy priorities by analyzing elements of design management of strategic industry and describing and analyzing the concept of promoting Busan design. The theme of the present study is to change perception of design management as a key value and a condition to decide creativity industry into future industry and to evaluate vision of Busan design industry and meanings proposed as proceeding strategy. The early 21st century is an age when agrarian society has changed into industrial society is dominated by knowledge economy of the information revolution and one should prepare for the growth phase of creative innovation based on creative revolution of the 4th wave of creative society by design management which has become a center in 2000s on the whole. With the advent of creative paradigm and based on the function and role of the current creative economy age new innovation DNA of design management will be created. Design process has changed through information and knowledge-oriented trends of digital through convergence between industries from industrial design to convergence of industries, and it is expected that integrated design of value creation using information and technology will play a key role in Busan design industry development and top 10 strategic industries.
The purposes of this research are firstly to define the characteristics of movement on the costume, secondly to demonstrate that fine art, expecially in relation to kinetic art, has become a good motif in modern costume de-sign, and thirdly to examin the characteristics of movement as shown in modern costume de-sign. For this study, we selected and analyzed some costume designs among those introduced in fashion magazines, which are Collections, Fashion-Preview, Fashion Show, Collezioni, and L'Officiel that have been issued since 1988. As this research is carried out only through the analysis of pictures, it is not ac-companied by a study on material itself. The result of this study is that the ex-pression of movement on modern fashion can be shown in two ways, one is the inclusive and subordinate movement expressed on the cloth-ing according to the motion of body when they are worn, and the other is the movement caused by the very designs of clothing. And the latter can be also divided in two ways, the illusionistic movement and the actual move-ment. The expression of actual movement is made through the emphasis of direction, rhythm, and dimension of the costume. And the illusionistic movement is expressed by the de-sign to which the textile pattern or reflection of light is applied so that the movement is larger than the actual movement. A sense of direction expressed on the cos-tume by the actual movement creates a light rhythm and adds interest to the costume. This reflects a part of psychology of modern men who are not accustomed to the statics. In the rapidly changing society of information our modern men seek after movement even in the statics. It is also true in the clothing and they seem to get a psychological rest through the immediated visual change as shown in fashion design. The simple and cheerful rhythm expressed by the illusionistic movement on the costume is attempted in order to overcome the static tediousness caused by simple design. These elements of movement cause the en-largement of visible range and create another enlarged shape other than the real one, so that they come to remove the dullness and monot-ony in costume design and provoke interest in costume, as if kinetic art reveals the various aspects that transcend the closed area of fine art upon the motif of 'movement'. finally, as this paper deals with the ex-pression of movement as shown in the costume design which prevailed after 1988, it is desir-able hereafter to study more about the fashion since 1950 when kinetic art began in earnest, along with the comparative study on the ex-pression of movement in our Korean designer's and foreign designer's works.
