The motion of each satellite in a tethered satellite system is non-Keplerian in the Earth's gravitational field. In this paper, the tether perturbation force is formulated and compared with the perturbation force due to the Earth's oblateness. Also, the center of mass motion of the tethered satellite system is analyzed. The tether perturbing force on the one of satellites in a tethered satellite system is much bigger than the Earth's oblateness perturbation. The two-body motion approximation of the center of mass is acceptable to describe the motion of the system, when the libration is small.
The purpose of this study is to analyze nonlinear dynamics of a tethered satellite. The nonlinear equations of motion are derived by using Lagrange's equations with the polar coordinate system. In order to analyze the response of tethered satellite, time responses are computed by the Newmark's time integration method. This paper claims that the dynamic behavior of the system is changed by the effect of length of tether, mass ratio of satellites.
The purpose of this study is to analyze nonlinear dynamics of a tethered satellite. The coupled non-linear equations of motion are derived by using the extended Hamilton's principle with the polar coordinate system. In order to analyze the response of tethered satellite, time responses are computed by the Newmark's time integration method. We also investigate the dynamic behavior of the system and the effects of length of tether, tip mass and conveyed fluid through the tether with time variation.
It is very important to measure atmospheric particles and evaluate the characteristics of them since aerosol can influence atmospheric environment, climate, and health. Satellite, aircraft, radio sonde are usually used to measure the vertical distribution of particle properties, temperature, humidity, and pressure. Although the method of using an aircraft is favorable to collect the horizontal distribution of the particles, but unadaptable to measure the vertical distribution of the particles. However, all-in-one balloon particle sampler system can collect particles depending on each altitude controling the balloon by winch. In this research, we performed the air sampling on the TEM grids using house made light weight impactor at the altitude of 300m and 900m. The collected particles were analyzed using TEM/EDS.

The current state of telecommunications infrastructure in the Arctic does not allow providing a wide range of required services for people, businesses and other categories, which necessitates the use of non-traditional approaches to its organization. The paper proposes an innovative approach to building a combined communication network based on tethered high-altitude platform station (HAPS) located at an altitude of 1-7 km and connected via radio channels with terrestrial and satellite communication networks. Network configuration and composition of telecommunication equipment placed on HAPS and located on the terrestrial and satellite segment of the network was justified. The availability of modern equipment and the distributed structure of such an integrated network will allow, unlike existing networks (Iridium, Gonets, etc.), to organize personal mobile communications, data transmission and broadband Internet up to 100 Mbps access for mobile and fixed subscribers, rapid transmission of information from Internet of Things (IoT) sensors and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV). A substantiation of the possibility of achieving high network capacity in various paths is presented: inter-platform radio links, subscriber radio links, HAPS feeder lines - terrestrial network gateway, HAPS radio links - satellite retransmitter (SR), etc. The economic efficiency of the proposed solution is assessed.
북극해에서 유빙의 움직임은 NOAA(National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration)에서 제공하는 ITP(Ice-Tethered Profiler)의 자료 중에서 2009년부터 2018년 자료를 이용했다. 입자 추적은 HYCOM(Hybrid Coordinate Ocean Model)과 ECMWF(European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts)에서 제공하는 일별 해류 및 바람 자료를 사용하여 2009년부터 2018년까지의 유빙의 움직임을 모의하였다.
