부분 가열을 이용한 저온 Hermetic 패키징 (Low Temperature Hermetic Packaging using Localized Beating)

  • Wafer bonding methods such as fusion and anodic bonding suffer from high temperature treatment, long processing time, and possible damage to the micro-scale sensor or actuators. In the localized bonding process, beating was conducted locally while the whole wafer is maintained at a relatively low temperature. But previous research of localized heating has some problems, such as non-uniform soldering due to non-uniform heating and micro crack formation on the glass capsule by thermal stress effect. To address this non-uniformity problem, a new heater configuration is being proposed. By keeping several points on the heater strip at calculated and constant potential, more uniform heating, hence more reliable wafer bonding could be achieved. The proposed scheme has been successfully demonstrated, and the result shows that it will be very useful in hermetic packaging. Less than 0.2 ㎫ contact Pressure were used for bonding with 150 ㎃ current input for 50${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ width, 2${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ height and 8mm $\times$ 8mm, 5mm$\times$5mm, 3mm $\times$ 3mm sized phosphorus-doped poly-silicon micro heater. The temperature can be raised at the bonding region to 80$0^{\circ}C$, and it was enough to achieve a strong and reliable bonding in 3minutes. The IR camera test results show improved uniformity in heat distribution compared with conventional micro heaters. For gross leak check, IPA (Isopropanol Alcohol) was used. Since IPA has better wetability than water, it can easily penetrate small openings, and is more suitable for gross leak check. The pass ratio of bonded dies was 70%, for conventional localized heating, and 85% for newly developed FP scheme. The bonding strength was more than 30㎫ for FP scheme packaging, which shows that FP scheme can be a good candidate for micro scale hermetic packaging.

Analysis of C-shaped root canal configuration in maxillary molars in a Korean population using cone-beam computed tomography

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study was to investigate the incidence of root fusion and C-shaped root canals in maxillary molars, and to classify the types of C-shaped canal by analyzing cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) in a Korean population. Materials and Methods: Digitized CBCT images from 911 subjects were obtained in Chosun University Dental Hospital between February 2010 and July 2012 for orthodontic treatment. Among them, a total of selected 3,553 data of maxillary molars were analyzed retrospectively. Tomography sections in the axial, coronal, and sagittal planes were displayed by PiViewstar and Rapidia MPR software (Infinitt Co.). The incidence and types of root fusion and C-shaped root canals were evaluated and the incidence between the first and the second molar was compared using Chi-square test. Results: Root fusion was present in 3.2% of the first molars and 19.5% of the second molars, and fusion of mesiobuccal and palatal root was dominant. C-shaped root canals were present in 0.8% of the first molars and 2.7% of the second molars. The frequency of root fusion and C-shaped canal was significantly higher in the second molar than the first molar (p < 0.001). Conclusions: In a Korean population, maxillary molars showed total 11.3% of root fusion and 1.8% of C-shaped root canals. Furthermore, root fusion and C-shaped root canals were seen more frequently in the maxillary second molars.

고받음각에서 항공기 이탈 방지를 위한 제어법칙에 관한 연구 (A Study on Prevention Control Law of Aircraft Departure at High Angle of Attack)

  • 군용항공기는 고받음각에서 적절한 조종성 및 항공기 이탈에 대한 안정성을 확보하고 있어야 한다. 고받음각에서 항공기가 이탈에 진입할 수 있는 한계값은 항공기 형상설계에 직결되는 문제이다. 하지만 현대의 고성능 전투기는 전기식 비행제어계통을 사용하여 고받음각 제어법칙을 설계함으로써 한계 값 내에서 항공기의 안정성을 보장하고 있으며 항공기가 이탈 시, 안전하게 회복할 수 있도록 고받음각 제어법칙을 설계한다. 현재 T-50에 적용되어 있는 고받음각 제어법칙은, 세로축 방향으로는 받음각 제한기 및 MPO(Manual Pitch Override) 모드, 가로-방향축으로는 고받음각 이탈제한기, 가로축 명령제한기, 방향축 조종사 명령제한기 및 스핀방지기가 설계되어 있다. 본 논문에서는 T-50 에 적용되어 있는 고받음각 제어법칙을 소개하며, 고받음각 비행시험을 통하여 항공기 안정성에 관한 연구를 수행하였다.

  • 본 논문은 사장교에서 모니터링 시스템을 통해 획득한 가속도 자료를 이용하여 케이블 관리기준 장력을 결정하기 위한 방법을 제시한다. 현재 한국의 많은 장대교량에 모니터링 시스템이 설치되어 있다. 모니터링 시스템은 교량의 이상현상이나 손상을 진단하고 관리주체에 경고하기 위해 설치된다. 사장교에 있어서는 그 기하학적인 형상 때문에 케이블 장력이 교량 이상징후의 중요한 지시가 될 수 있다. 만약 케이블 장력관리치가 너무 높거나 또는 너무 낮게 설정되면, 모니터링 시스템은 교량의 이상징후를 적절하게 경고하지 못할 것이다. 일반적으로, 관리치는 경험이나 공학적 판단에 의해 결정된다. 그러나 본 논문에서는 케이블 장력에 대한 확률분포모형과 신뢰성 해석에 기초한 새로운 케이블 장력관리치 설정에 대한 방법을 제시한다. 제안된 방법은 적용성 검토를 위하여 실제 콘크리트 사장교에 적용되었다.

전부피개관의 물성과 시멘트의 물성이 시멘트 내부의 응력에 미치는 영향 (Characterization of the Stress in the Luting Cement layer Influenced by Material Properties of Full Veneer Crown)

  • 이 논문의 목적은 시멘트 층 내의 응력분포에 대해 금관의 물성과 시멘트의 물성 및 교합력의 방향이 미치는 영향을 이차원 유한요소분석으로 조사하는 것이다. Chamfer 변연을 가지는 23개의 하악 제1대구치 모델을 상정하였다. 금관의 재질은 제 3형 금합금, Ni-Cr 합금, 세라믹, 복합레진 등 4가지이며, 시멘트의 재질은 인산 아연 시멘트와 글라스 아이오노머 시멘트 등 2가지이다. 치축과 평행하게 또는 경사지게 하여 1N 단위로 금관에 하중을 가했다. 시멘트층의 응력은 금관 변연이 다른 곳보다 더 높았다. 치축에 평행한 하중이 치축에 경사진 하중보다 더 높은 응력을 발생시켰다. 경도가 더 큰 금관은 시멘트 층 내에서 더 높은 응력을 나타냈으며, 더 높은 응력은 더 큰 Young's modulus을 나타냈다.

VPH Gratings for Near-Infrared Spectrographs

  • Volume Phase Holographic (VPH) gratings are getting more popular as dispersion elements in spectrographs. High efficiency, compact configuration, and easy handling are driving many visual spectrographs to use VPH gratings for their main dispersers or for their cross-dispersers in higher resolution spectrographs. More recently, VPH gratings are being adopted in near-infrared by some spectrographs and by a number of next generation instrument projects. IGRINS (Immersion Grating Infrared Spectrograph) uses a VPH grating as a cross-disperser in each H or K band arm. J or H band performance of VPH gratings has been proven by other instruments. But K-band VPH gratings are new to the field. In this presentation, we are going to present test results we have got so far for verification of H-band VPH gratings and development of K-band VPH gratings.

  • 1. Objectives We had been developing a 3D Automatic Face Recognition Apparatus (3D-AFRA) in order to evaluate the external appearances with more objectivity. This apparatus provides a 3D image and numerical data on facial configuration, and this study aims to evaluate the accuracy of 3D-AFRA recognition. 2. Methods Each scanned pictures were pointed with the 3D Automatic Face Recognition Apparatus(3D-AFRA). And the results were compared with data pointed pictures with manual. And we analysed the difference between Automatic and manual by paired -test. 3. Results and conclusions In frontal face, the P-value was more than 0.05. In conclusion, We assessed that accuracy of recognition of 3D Automatic Face Recognition Apparatus(3D-AFRA) is considerably good. But we should develop methods of measurement for lateral face and indistinct points of frontal face.

직접분사식 소형 디젤엔진의 실린더내 스월 유동장에 미치는 흡기포트의 형상에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Effects of Intake Port Geometry on In-Cylinder Swirl Flow Field in a Small D.I. Diesel Engine)

  • This paper studies the effects of intake port configuration on the swirl that is key parameter in the flow field of direct injection diesel engines. In-cylinder flow characteristics is known to have significant effects on fuel air mixing, combustion and emissions. To investigate the swirl flow generated by various intake ports, steady state flow tests were conducted to evaluate the swirl. Helical port geometry, SCV shape and bypass were selected as the design parameters to increase the swirl flow and parametric study was performed to choose the optimal port shape that would generate a high swirl ratio efficiently. The results revealed that a key factor in generating a high swirl ratio was to suitably control the direction of the intake air flow passing through the valve seat. For these purposes, we changed the distance of helical and tangential port as well as installed bypass near the valve seat and the effects of intake port geometry on in-cylinder flow field were visualized by a laser sheet visualization method. From the experimental results, we found that the swirl ratio and mass flow rate had a trade off relation. In addition, the result indicates that the bypass is a effective method to increase the swirl ratio without sacrificing mass flow rate.

치과용 Ti-6Al-4V 합금 골 고정판 표면에 형성된 나노튜브의 부식거동 (Corrosion Behavior of Nanotube Formed on the Bone Plate of Ti-6Al-4V Alloy for Dental Use)

  • Titanium and titanium alloys are widely used for orthopedic and dental implants for their superior mechanical properties, low modulus, excellent corrosion resistance and good biocompatibility. In this study, corrosion behaviors of nanotube formed on the bone plate of Ti-6Al-4V alloy for dental use have been investigated. $TiO_2$ nanotubes were formed on the dental bone plates by anodization in $H_3PO_4$ containing 0.6 wt % NaF solution at $25^{\circ}C$. Electrochemical experiments were performed using a conventional three-electrode configuration with a platinum counter electrode and a saturated calomel reference electrode. Anodization was carried out using a scanning potentiostat (EG&G Co, Model 263A USA), and all experiments were conducted at room temperature. The surface morphology was observed using field emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM) and energy dispersive x-ray spectroscopy(EDS). The corrosion behavior of the dental bone plates was examined using potentiodynamic test(potential range of -1500~2000 mV) in a 0.9% NaCl solution by potentiostat (EG&G Co, PARSTAT 2273. USA). The inner diameter of nanotube was about 150~180 nm with wall thickness of about 20 nm. The interspace of nanotube to nanotube was 50 nm. The passive region of the nanotube formed bone plates showed the broad range compared to non-nanotube formed bone plates. The corrosion surface of sample was covered with corrosion products.

조간대 지역에서의 고해상 탄성파 탐사를 위한 파원 특성 분석 (Analysis of source characteristics for high-resolution seismic surveys on a tidal flat)

  • 조간대 지역의 고해상 반사법 탐사에 적합한 탄성파 파원을 밝히기 위하여, 이동식 진동기, 1.2 kg 스패너, 4.7 kg 해머, 30 kg과 100 kg 중력추 등 모두 5 종류의 파원을 워커웨이 방식으로 시험하여 파원의 특성을 구명하였다. 원시자료 및 고주파 통과필터 적용 후의 자료를 이용하여 파원에 따른 탄성파 이벤트들의 수직분해능을 분석하였으며, 고해상 탄성파 탐사에 적합한 파원을 결정하기 위하여 파원별로 발생에너지 및 주파수 성분의 변화를 비교하였다. 분석결과에 의하면 20-30 m 정도의 천부 지층을 상세하게 구명하기 위해서는 주파수 대역이 가장 넓고 고주파 성분을 많이 발생시키는 이동식 진동기가 가장 적합한 것으로 나타난다. 반면 대상심도가 100 m 까지 증가하는 경우, 해머가 효과적인 파원으로 사용될 수 있을 것으로 분석된다.
