  • The automation system oriented as one of the second year automation projects for the small and medium sized enterprises(SME) was developed for the improvement of the production rate and cut the required manpower in the field of the relay which is one of the small electric components used in various industrial fields. The objectives of this study are not only improving the international competition of the relay itself but also partially solving the technical and financial porblems featured by common bottlenecks of the SME for effecient assembly automation. For the purpose of these objectives, several topics are studied as followings. -. Analyzing the adjustment process and determining the specification of the automation system. -. Determining the layout for the automation system to meet the determined specification. -. Detail design ofthe automation system for relay adjusment and inspection. -. Control system design. -. Automation system development and performance test.

  • A relay is the one of small electrical components for automobiles and used for industry widely. We have developed the automation system for relay assembly and test to make it improve the productivity and decrease the man power. In order to determine the objective process of automation, we investigated 6 small and medium sized-enterprises and 1 greate sized-enterprise producing relays. And, we selected 2 model enterprises of them. One of the two is the system to develop. The scope of our study is the analyse of the conventional workcell, the determination of the system specification, the design of the system layout, the determination of the system cycle time, the design of the system mechanism, and the development of the controller for the system. We think that the developed system may be solve the technical and the economical problems interrupted efficiential automation of domastic small and medium sized-enterprises, and improve the international competitive power.

멀티에이젼트 기술의 배전자동화시스템 적용방안 (Multi-Agent System and its Applications to the Distribution Automation System)

  • This paper presents benefits of multi-agent system approach and its application to the distribution automation system. Special attention is devoted to the description of hardware and communication platform used to upgrade the conventional distribution automation system structure. Service restoration of primary distribution system is selected as an example of the multi-agent system application. Application of the algorithm for multi-agent based service restoration technique is disclosed in detail. Real field test in Gochang test center of KEPCO has been performed to establish the feasibility of proposed technique.

  • 빠르게 진화하는 웹 생태계에서 테스트는 안정성과 생산성향상을 위한 필수과정이다. 복잡하게 얽혀 있는 웹 콘텐트(content)와 유저 인터페이스(user interface)에 대한 테스트는 매우 중요하며, 작성된 테스트케이스는 자동화 되어 누구나 쉽게 반복적으로 수행될 때 가장 효과적이다. 하지만 현재까지 나와 있는 대부분의 도구들은 웹 요소에 대한 기술적 접근 가능성에 중점을 두고 있으며, 이해 관계자들 간의 협업(collaboration), 작성된 테스트케이스의 재사용(reusability)에 대한 부분을 간과하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 웹 테스트 자동화에 있어 효율적인 테스트케이스 설계와 이를 공유하고 패턴화시켜 재 사용할 수 있는 테스트 프레임워크(framework)를 제안한다. 오픈 소스를 기반으로 제작된 본 프레임워크는 웹 테스트 자동화와 자동화된 테스트케이스를 지속적으로 수행할 수 있는 통합(integration) 환경을 제공한다.

  • A test simulator is needed to develop a fuel quantity measurement system that takes into account the roll and pitch motion of the aircraft. In this paper, we develop a test simulator that consists of attitude simulation equipment, fueling equipment, and data storage equipment. The attitude simulation equipment simulates the aircraft attitude. It is manufactured to operate pitch angle and roll angle movement. The fueling equipment supplies fuel to the supplementary fuel tank. The data storage equipment collects and stores the measured data. We also develop an automation software that operates the test simulator and collects data automatically. The test simulator has been automated to prevent testers from being exposed to toxic fuel. Through automation software, the collection period is reduced by one quarter compared to manual collection. The developed fuel quantity measurement system is verified through the test simulator.

능동 데이터베이스 이용한 배전선로 운전자동화 (An feeder Automation System Using Active Database)

  • 본 연구에서는 능동 데이터베이스를 이용하여 배전선로의 운전을 자동화하는 방안을 제시하였다. 기존의 선로운 전자동화 시스템에서는 수동형 데이터베이스를 사용으로 인위에 의한 실수로 광역정전 또는 과부하 구간의 파급등이 발생될 우려가 있었다. 그러나 제시된 능동 데이터베이스는 선로운전 자동화 시스템 데이터베이스의 상태를 항상 감시하고 스위치의 상태나 계통의 전류 또는 부하량이 변경되었을 경우 그에 상응하는 일련의 작업을 사용자의 개입없이 능동 규칙이용하여 데이터베이스 스스로 수행하도록 함으로써 인위에의한 실수를 최소화 할 수 있다. 제시된 방식을 실 계통인 서울의 K지점의 모의 배전계통에 적용하여 그 유용성을 입증하였다.

  • IEC 61850 based substation automation system mainly consists of human machine interface as a client and a various of IEDs as a server. Both of them should require the field testing for performance verification including IEC 61850 communication services. This means that the test can assure the interoperability of IEC 61850 based substation automation system consisted of multi vendor's products. This paper shows a research result on the field test of the IEC 61850 based HMI and IEDs. And it proposes some engineering solutions for the system implementation.

  • This study is conducted to identify improvements in the setting time estimation system through the Mock-up test of the finishing automation system and the setting estimation system. As a result of the study, it is necessary to adjust the spring strength of the setting time estimator and the diameter and length of the estimation needle so that the value of the hardness can be measured from 15HD to around 40HD.

  • Robot software components can be categorized into two types; the pure S/W component and the H/W-related one. Since interface testing of the robot software component is the labour-intensive and complicated work, an effective automated testing tool is necessary. Especially it is difficult to test all types of H/W-related components because it is hard work to prepare all H/W modules related to them. This paper proposes a new simulation-based interface testing automation tool(SITAT) which generates automatically test cases for interface testing of the robot software component and executes the interface test with the generated test cases where the simulator is used for simulation of the activity of a H/W module instead of the real H/W module. This paper verifies the effectiveness of the suggested SITAT with testing of the real H/W-related robot software component.

벤트 그릴 조립공정 자동화를 위한 자동화지그 개발 (The Development of an Automation Jig for the Vent Grille Assembly Process)

  • In this study, an automation assembly jig for the automation assembly process for the ventilation grille that is used in the interior of a car Is developed. As the method that can do the automation assembly for the ventilation grille, a simple jig and air cylinder have been applied. And a solenoid valve, a filter regulator, and on-off switch have been used in controlling the system. Moreover, the timer is attached to the equipment so that a worker may control the assembly time, as fitting the quantity on demand of production. Actually with executing the assembly test productivity and performance of assembly have been verified. In case of the automation assembly work for a ventilation grille is compared to the manual work. The optimum working speed has been identified to make the process twice or three times better.
