Development of an ICT Car Service Applying a Human-Centered Design

  • Currently, various technological models and services are emerging because of the development of information and communication technology and the convergence of industries. The ICT car field is expanding because of technological convergence in the automobile industry. However, ICT convergence services are still being developed based solely on technology; characterization of users and their needs is lacking. Therefore, two types of ICT car services that apply human-centered design processes are developed in this study. These processes create services and models while considering the quality and functions of products based on users (instead of technology) when developing products or services. Usability evaluation was performed on the developed services; a human-centered design process was applied to the results to confirm that the derived services resulted in high satisfaction. In the future, these research results will provide useful applications when developing ICT car services and strategies.

헬리콥터 시뮬레이터용 6자유도 전기식 운동구현장치의 개발 (Development of the 6-DOF Electrical Motion Platform System for Helicopter Simulator)

  • 민간항공안전국 등급 2를 만족하는 헬리콥터 시뮬레이터에 사용되는 6자유도 운동구현장치 개발에 관해 기술하였다. 운동판과 제어 구동장치의 기구학적 및 구조적 해석을 통해 설계 제작된 운동구현장치의 시험 평가로부터 규정에 만족하는 결과를 보였고 이로부터 실제 헬리콥터 시뮬레이터로의 적용 타당성을 확보하였다. 또한 동품의 개발 결과로 인해 그간 유압 구동체계를 사용한 운동구현장치의 단점을 전기식 구동장치 적용을 통해 새롭게 개선함과 동시에 국내 최초로 10 톤급의 적재하중 능력을 보유한 6자유도 운동구현장치를 보급하게 되는 계기를 마련하였다.

승강장 스크린도어를 위한 통합형 제어기의 상품화 (Commercialization of Integrated DCU for the Platform Screen Door)

  • Platform Screen Door, PSD, is a device that seeks to prevent accidents with regards to falling off the platform and getting trapped between the trains, achieve improvements on the cleanliness of the air, address the accessibility issue of the disabled and the elderly and provide fresher environment on the platform in general. This is achieved by preventing health hazards and accidents from occurring through installation of fixed and moving doors between rail, tram and subway platforms and the railway. Domestic firms have achieved domestic production to a large degree in various Control Units including the Overall Control Unit and RF devices through investments in technology. Despite this, full domestic production of the core of the PSD system, Door Control Unit, DCU, is not yet achieved, having to install PSDs in a relatively short period of time. Currently, controllers with DC motors are developed for installation or one is faced with having to import foreign produced controllers. In this research, the control unit prototype using the BLDC motor was domestically produced. The performance of the control unit was rigorously tested through installation on Eun-Ha Rail on Wol-Mi Island.

하중판을 이용한 미끄러짐 측정기의 동력학적 특성 평가 (Evaluation of Dynamic Characteristics of Slipmeters with Force Platform)

  • The purpose of this study were to evaluate the dynamic characteristics of the portable slipmeters with respect to actual slipping and to compare their output with those of force platform. The selected slipmeters were commonly used devices for slipperiness measurement in situ floors. Their output quantity represented force (BOT-3000), loss of energy(British pendulum striker) and angle of inclination(English XL). The validity of these devices was studied with respect to actual slipping using a force platform. The precision of these devices was also evaluated with force platform. Based on dynamics of human subject behavior when slipping during normal walking, the all devices tested in this study showed poor performances: low built up ratio, low normal pressure, and long contact time prior to slip. Nevertheless, their results reasonably correlated with those calculated from the ground reaction forces generated by the operation of the selected slipmeters on the force platform although the absolute values of COF from these three devices could be quite different. Also the results showed good repeatability under the some test conditions.

Multi-dimensional seismic response control of offshore platform structures with viscoelastic dampers (II-Experimental study)

  • Based on the change of traditional viscoelastic damper structure, a brand-new damper is designed to control simultaneously the translational vibration and the rotational vibration for platforms. Experimental study has been carried out on the mechanical properties of viscoelastic material and on its multi-dimensional seismic response control effect of viscoelastic damper. Three types of viscoelastic dampers with different shapes of viscoelastic material are designed to test the influence of excited frequency, strain amplitude and ambient temperature on the mechanical property parameters such as circular dissipation per unit, equivalent stiffness, loss factor and storage shear modulus. Then, shaking table tests are done on a group of single-storey platform systems containing one symmetric platform and three asymmetric platforms with different eccentric forms. Experimental results show that the simulation precision of the restoring force model is rather good for the shear deformation of viscoelastic damper and is also satisfied for the torsion deformation and combined deformations of viscoelastic damper. The shaking table tests have verified that the new-type viscoelastic damper is capable of mitigating the multi-dimensional seismic response of offshore platform.

An Empirical Study on Consumers' Intention to Use a Global Business-to-Consumer Sharing Platform

  • Purpose - This study aims to examine the factors that affect consumers' intention to use a global business-to-consumer sharing platform. Design/methodology - The questionnaire collected 300 copies from June 25 to July 11, 2019, of which 281 were used for statistical processing. The structural equation model (SEM) was used to test hypothesis in this research. Findings - The results showed that information innovation, personalization, and personal innovation influenced perceived usefulness, and social connectivity did not affect perceived usefulness. And perceived usefulness greatly influenced the intention to use. Research limitations/implications - The limitations of the study are that most of the survey respondents were in their twenties and could not grasp the perception of sharing economy services for various age groups. This paper derived implications that sharing platform promotes sharing and cooperation, which are the basic principles of international trade, to increase the intrinsic value of resources by cyclically using and utilizing limited resources around the world. Originality/value - It aims to contribute to the growth of consumer value-related industries and the welfare of society by providing implications from the point of view of sharing platform services.

통합기술수용이론 요인 기반 국내 화물운송 플랫폼 수용의도에 관한 연구 (A study on Factors Affecting to Domestic Cargo Transportation Platform Adoption Using the UTAUT Model)

  • This study is to examine the perception and difference of existing market participants on the intention of accepting domestic cargo transportation platform and analyze the effect of the intention on acceptance using UTAUT. Through the analysis, we can quantitatively examine the expectation of the cargo transportation platform expected by the participants in the transportation market and suggest implications. As the results of the analysis of variance conducted to understand the difference according to the variables of each industry, it was found that there was no difference in attitude according to the cargo transportation platform for workers of various companies such as transportation, distribution, and manufacturing. The results of the test showed that performance expectation, effort expectation, significance influence, and social impact had a positive (+) effect on acceptance intention. However, the hypothesis that perceived risk would have negative (-) effects on acceptance intention was not significant and was rejected.

해사영어학습 및 평가 플랫폼을 활용한 교육 효과에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Educational Efficacy of a Maritime English Learning and Testing Platform)

  • 상선에 당직사관으로 승선하기 위한 해기사는 승선 전 해기사로서 갖추어야 할 적절한 자격요건을 국제규정에 맞게 충족시켜야 한다. 해사영어 활용 능력은 이와 관련한 중요한 요소 중 하나이다. 해기 교육 과정에 입교한 학생들은 교내 수업을 통해 선박과 관련된 영문 서류, 검사 문서 그리고 사고 보고서에 이르기까지 다양한 상황에 대한 해사영어활용능력을 습득하게 되며 이를 통해 일반 영어뿐만이 아닌 실무에서 사용되는 해사분야 전문 용어 및 특수 문장까지 학습하게 된다. 하지만 선박 및 해운산업의 특수성으로 인해 해사영어를 포함한 해기 지식이 전달되고 또 평가되는 데에는 많은 제약이 존재한다. 해당 연구는 항시 접속 가능한 해사영어 학습 및 시험 플랫폼의 활용을 기반으로 학생들의 학습 결과를 측정하고 이를 통한 교육 효과를 조사하였다. 실험은 승선실습 과정에 참여한 실습항해사를 두 집단으로 나누어 진행되었다. 한 집단은 해사영어 학습 및 평가 플랫폼을 활용하였고 다른 한 집단은 해사영어 학습 및 평가 플랫폼을 활용하지 않았다. 6주의 실험을 통한 최종 시험 결과 두 집단 간 해사영어 시험성적에 유의한 차이가 발생하였으며 이를 통해 해사영어 학습 및 평가 플랫폼의 활용이 해사영어 시험 점수에 유의미한 점수 차이를 가져오는 것을 확인하였다. 또한 학생들의 개인 학습시간을 조사하여 그 교육 효과를 정량화하였으며 나아가 추후 연구에 대한 개선방향을 제시하고자 하였다. 해당 연구는 해사 교육 분야에 다양하게 적용하여 활용할 수 있는 학습 플랫폼 활용 효능을 조사하였으며 향후 해사영어 교육 외에 그 범위를 넓혀 활용될 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.

무인수상정 플랫폼 장비의 통합 제어 시스템 개발 (A Development of Integrated Control System for Platform Equipments of Unmanned Surface Vehicle (USV))

  • 최근 해양 환경에서 국방과 관련한 임무를 수행하는 무인수상정(USV, unmaned surface vehicle)의 개발이 활발히 이루어지고 있다. 무인수상정이 해양 환경에서 성공적인 임무를 수행하기 위해서는 선체부, 추진시스템, 조향시스템, 제어시스템, 전원시스템 등을 포함하는 원격/자율 무인수상정 플랫폼이 필수적으로 요구된다. 기존 무인수상정은 기계식 제어 방식을 채택하고 있었지만, 이는 중량 등 여러가지 측면에서의 제약을 가진다. 이러한 문제점을 보완하기 위하여 본 논문에서는 무인수상정의 플랫폼 장비를 전자적으로 제어하기 위한 시스템을 개발하고, 개발한 시스템을 실험하여 유용성을 검증하는 것에 관한 내용을 다룬다. 이를 위해서 제어 명령에 따라 엔진, 워터젯, 전원 등 플랫폼 장비를 제어하기 위한 주 제어 시스템과 엔진 제어장치, 워터젯 제어장치, 전원 제어장치에 관한 시스템 아키텍처를 설계하고, 각 구성 요소를 개발한다. 또한, 개발한 시스템의 수조 실험 및 검증을 위하여 엔진 및 워터젯의 각 구성 요소를 포함하는 테스트베드를 설계 및 제작하였고, 이를 기반으로 실험을 수행하여 개발한 시스템의 유용성을 검증하였다.

가상계측기반 실시간 영상유도 자동비행 시스템 구현 및 무인 로터기를 이용한 비행시험 (Implementation of Virtual Instrumentation based Realtime Vision Guided Autopilot System and Onboard Flight Test using Rotory UAV)

  • This paper investigates the implementation and flight test of realtime vision guided autopilot system based on virtual instrumentation platform. A graphical design process via virtual instrumentation platform is fully used for the image processing, communication between systems, vehicle dynamics control, and vision coupled guidance algorithms. A significatnt ojective of the algorithm is to achieve an environment robust autopilot despite wind and an irregular image acquisition condition. For a robust vision guided path tracking and hovering performance, the flight path guidance logic is combined in a multi conditional basis with the position estimation algorithm coupled with the vehicle attitude dynamics. An onboard flight test equipped with the developed realtime vision guided autopilot system is done using the rotary UAV system with full attitude control capability. Outdoor flight test demonstrated that the designed vision guided autopilot system succeeded in UAV's hovering on top of ground target within about several meters under geenral windy environment.
