A Case Study of Placed Remicon in "S" Apartment (현장 콘크리트의 품질에 관한 소고)

  • This subject,'S" apartment structural frame has not been achieved without considerable effort by all quality controller involved. Therefore, it is appropriate at this time to report by all the fact of concrete quality control in our site. These are emphasized that the average strength of placed concrete must always exceed the specified value of design strength used in the structural design phase. In general, quality of ready mixed concrete largely depends not only upon the manner of production and proper observance of recognized methods of placement, finishing, curing, transportation etc. ,but also many kinds of influential factors even more handling of the test procedure, As this practical report, approaching to judgement by analysis of sampled specimens in site weather placed concrete have satisfied quality compare the specified strength with the target strength which is applied to standard deviation related with influential factors as above mentioned. This case study is consist of 1) A foreword, 2) Site brief, 3) A precondition for analysis, 4) A formulas derivation and quality analysis, 5) Economic gains by the coefRcient of increase and 6) A conclusion.sion.

  • During the past five years a very successful effort has been made to improve existing and develop new aluminium alloys. The progress achieved has been possible because of the development of new production methods, such as powder metallurgy and spray/deposition. These methods make use of rapid solidification process which alloys compositions other than those achieved by conventional ingot metallurgy. The ingot metallurgy of the 2000 and 7000 series used thus far, as well as the age hardening Al-Li alloys, show several disadvantages caused by the production process. Such problems are primarily coarse intermetallic constituent phases, coarse grains and macrosegregation, resulting in low fracture toughness. The present contribution reports results of an experimental investigation performed on a modern high strength spay deposited aluminium alloy of the Al-Zn-Mg-Cu (7075 and the modified 7150X) type. Results are given in terms of its microstructural characterization by using X-ray diffractomertry and transmission electron microscopic. The mechanical propierties of those alloys in the as-extruded and extruded+aged condition were evaluated by using microhardness Vickers, tensile test and fracture toughness measurements.

  • Nowadays, VCR(Video Cassette Recorder) has various functions, but users use to fail operating these function because of the complexity of operation. The process of operating VCR contains user's cognitive characteristics. It is necessary for designing it that we must identify a user's mental process in the behind of operational behaviors. This effort, as well as considering physical dimensions and layout, can make VCR easy to use. In this research, VCR remote controller are analyzed by the cognitive method and experiments. Three types of VCR remote controllers, cognitive VCR models and two non-cognitive(typical) VCR models, are adopted as experimental objects to test the validation of the suggested user's cognitive mode of VCR. As results, when VCR was operated by the cognitive prototype of remote controller, task completion time was reduced to 80.5%, and the number of errors was reduced to 96.8%.

Measurement of position based on correlative function in self-movement

  • This paper describes an effective method to estimate a position of an automous vehicle equipped with a single CCD-camera along indoor passageways. Using the sequential image data from the self-movement of the vehicle, the position is estimated by integrating the approximated motion parameters. The detection of the yaw angle that is one of the motion parameter is difficult in general, e.g. slip or error for noise, therefore the different detection is presented, which is, without shaft encoders, based on a projection function for 2D-image data and a cross-correlation function so as to be robust for noise. The approximated geometric function to estimate the position is used to reduce the computational effort. To verify the effectiveness of the method, the analysis and the computational results are shown through the simulations. Furthermore, the experimental results by using the test vehicle for the real indoor passageway are shown.

The Development of a Program Promoting the Adjustment and its Effectiveness for School aged Children′s Hospital Life (학령기 아동의 입원생활 적응증진 프로그램 개발 및 효과)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to develop a program promoting adjustment to hospital life and determining its effectiveness for school aged children. Method: The sample group consisted of 76 hospitalized children in 2 University Hospitals located in Busan. The experimental group was given the program on admission and feedback was obtained on the 3rd day and again 24 hours later. Data was analyzed using t-test and ANOVA in the SPSS program package. Result: There were significant differences, in information(t=4.235, p=0.000) and coping effort criteria (t=2.922, p=0.005) between the experimental and control groups. There was a non-significant difference in attitude criteria between the two groups(t=1.009, p=0.316). Conclusion: It was found that the adjustment promoting program for hospital life for school aged children was effective, but not enough to promote self-esteem. The program, based on a learning theory, was improved and shown to be an effective and strong method to promote adjustment of school-aged children.

  • Utilization of new lighter materials, more tough and durable than existing materials, is getting larger in recent constructions. FRP, stronger and lighter than present materials, can be formed in various shapes and has high durability, which makes it more profitable as a new material in construction fields. However, effort to use FRP in real construction is toddling and FRP is used primarily as reinforcing material in connote structure. We are about to develop Hybrid FRP Rod for the development of advanced construction material which is based on IT, by Hybridization of HIP, spotlighted as new construction material, and optical sensor in smart measurement. Beforehand, it is required to fully understand the properties of tension test operated in Hybrid FRP Rod. For this, a specimen was made by hybridization of FRP Rod and FBG sensor. Strain of Hybrid FRP Rod was measured comparing electric sensor and FBG sensor.

  • Self-leveling mortar is walkable bottom mortar which can maintain the horizontality of self fluid and have the the quick-setting quality, the low-human-effort practicable material of high-quality bottom in construction. In accordance with more adhesive strength with bottom side and absorption control, Primer is used for purpose to prevent pin-hole occurrence by self leveling mortar application prior to construction. This study is composed measurement of absorption, adhesive strength. Used material is NP-40 as nonionic emulsifying agent, uses SA-210L as negative ion emulsifying agent, uses APS, SBS as ridical initiator. A result of test, in accordance with image of Primer, as low temperature and application frequency, indicates low absorption rate and adhesive strength, as solid powder and dryness time is increse, absorption rate and adhesive strength lowly shows figure.

  • In this case study, the field investigation work on soft soils like a reclamation area with dredged-clay or intertidal mud flat which has not enough strength to resist the load of surveying machines, the amphibious barge(modified AMFIROL) which travels on land and water was adopted to the field investigation work. Despite of slight increase of cost, it was found that the adoption of amphibious barge in field investigation could improve the quality of test results and avoid the waste of time and some effort.

  • In this paper, we preposed a chaos optimization method to reduce computational effort and enhance optimality of the solution in feeder reconfiguration problem. Chaos method in optimization problem searches the global optimal solution on the regularity of chaotic motions and more easily escapes from local or near optimal solution than stochastic optimization algorithms. The chaos optimization method is tested on 15 buses and 32 buses distribution systems, and the test results indicate that it is able to determine appropriate switching options for global optimum configuration with less computation.

  • Recently a standard software platform for automotive, AUTOSAR, has been developed to manage growing software complexity and improve software reuseability. However reuse of testing system and test data are difficult because they are dependant on implementation language and testing phases. In this paper, we suggest a automated testing approach for AUTOSAR software component using a standardized testing language, TTCN-3. AUTOSAR defines the AUTOSAR XML Schema for the data exchange format so that it is possible to automatically convert AUTOSAR model into TTCN-3 testing model. Therefore our approach is to present generation techniques for the TTCN-3 testing system from a AUTOSAR XML description. With the proposed testing techniques we can reduce time and effort to build the testing system and reuse testing environment.
