The purpose of this study is to identify factors that influence HPV(human papilloma virus) vaccination intention and behavior for mothers with a teenage daughter as the subject of HPV vaccine free inoculation from 2016 based on the theory of planned behavior. For attitude, subjective norm, perceived behavior control, intention, we used a tool modified and supplemented by Hye-Min Park, Hyu-Ei Oh. from June to September 2017, data of 249 people were collected and analyzed by SPSS Statistics 21.0 program. The results of this study showed that the factors affecting the HPV vaccination intention of the subject were attitude, subjective norm, perceived behavior control in order. In addition, the factors influencing HPV vaccination behavior were found to be level of education, subject's vaccination status, recommendation of health care provider, vaccination status of surrounding people, intention etc. Therefore, in order to increase the vaccination rate, we need to find a way to consider the factors influencing vaccination behavior and maximize the vaccination rate.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between sexual knowledge, attitude, and satisfaction of sex education in university freshman. Methods: The participants were 275 freshman students under the age of 20 years old. Data were collected in 2017 using a self-report questionnaire. Results: The average scores of participants' sexual knowledge, attitude, and satisfaction of sex education were $24.22{\pm}4.94$ out of 38 points, $90.81{\pm}15.86$ out of 168 points, and $11.05{\pm}3.08$ out of 20 points, respectively. With respect to the demographic characteristics, there were statically significant differences in sexual knowledge according to chances of relationship engagement (F=6.19, p=.002) and residence type (F=3.67, p=.013). Both sexual attitudes and satisfaction of sex education showed significant differences by major (t=3.20, p=.002; t=2.65, p=.009), types of high school (F=3.39, p=.019; F=3.53, p=.015), and interest in previous sex education during teenage years (F=2.88, p=.015; F= 6.22, p<.001). Sexual knowledge showed a statistically significant correlation with attitudes (r=.153, p=.011). Conclusion: There is insufficient sex information available for college students. It is necessary in the future to develop sex education programs that are matched to college students' needs.
Ruth Ozeki(Japanese-American female novelist)?s recent novel, A Tale for the Time Being (2013) draws our attention because the fiction shows very interesting fictional experiments, especially in terms of post-humanism. Indeed, the novel is not a science fiction at all which has been, and still is, the typical fictional field employed in the discussion for the transhumanism and posthumanism. It also does not include any cybogs, robots, or aliens which provoke the posthumanism-related issues like mind/body, human/nonhuman, nature/culture relations. Indeed, it seems "merely" represent realistic day-to-day lives of ordinary people living in contemporary Japan and Canada, and in very minute and particular details at that. Indeed, the central action of the main characters of the novel seems very traditional, that is on the one hand writing a diary by a teenage girl who is counting the days and weeks before her suicide and on the other hand reading it by a female novelist who happens to find her diary several years later. Nevertheless, I would like to suggest that underneath this traditional narrative surface are simmering post-humanist and post-anthropocentric worldviews beyond liberal Humanism which takes human beings to be exceptional against human or non-human others. Not only in narrative contents and characterizations but also through narrative structure and strategies, the novel enacts post-humanist and post-anthropocentric worldviews which are interestingly drawn from both age-old Buddhist ideas and modern eco-philosophy and quantum physics. I would like to stress that what triggers the author's fictional experiments helping our rethinking and redefining "what human beings are" and "what the relation between humans and nonhumans" is not merely intellectual interests but her keen and passionate response to the heart-breaking pains and sufferings of human and nonhuman beings caused by the contemporary natural-artificial catastrophes and techno-scientific predicaments.
The study is to observe the time trend variation in the blood lead concentration of Korean teenage groups and to examine the changes in the daily lead intake from intake amount(g) by food groups as an influencing factor. A total of 1,540 subjects are participants in the Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (KNHANES) in 2011, 2012, 2014, 2016, and 2017. The blood lead concentrations were 1.25㎍/100ml in 2011 survey, 1.16㎍/100ml in 2012, 1.17㎍/100ml in 2013, 1.05㎍/100ml in 2016, and 0.84㎍/100ml in 2017. The time trend decrease in food intake amount appeared mainly in the plant food groups such as grains, potatoes and starch, pulses, mushrooms, vegetables, and fruits. And the milk and dairy products of the animal food group also showed a decreased trend. The decrease in the intake amount of these food groups can be an influencing factor in the decrease in lead concentration in the blood.

BACKGROUND/OBJECTIVES: Adolescents who skip breakfast have an increased prevalence of chronic diseases. Thus, we aimed to evaluate whether the intake of rice-based breakfast had positive effects on blood glucose indices and to determine the possibility of diabetes prevalence in Korean youths who habitually skip breakfast. SUBJECTS/METHODS: In this randomized parallel-group controlled trial, 81 subjects who were suitable for compliance among 105 middle-and high-school students aged 12-18 years who usually skipped breakfast were included in this study (rice-meal group [RMG], n = 26; wheat-meal group [WMG], n = 29; general-meal group [GMG], n = 26). The RMG and WMG received a rice-based breakfast and a wheat-based breakfast for 12 weeks, respectively. The anthropometric indices, blood glucose indices, and metabolites were measured at baseline and the endpoint, respectively. RESULTS: The mean body weights in the RMG, WMG, and GMG groups at the endpoint were 62.44 kg, 61.80 kg, and 60.28 kg, respectively, and the mean body weights of the WMG and GMG groups at the endpoint were significantly higher than that at baseline (P < 0.05). The levels of fasting insulin and homeostasis model assessment of insulin resistance (HOMA-IR) values were significantly decreased in the RMG group at the endpoint compared to baseline (P < 0.05, P < 0.05, respectively). The levels of tryptophan and tyrosine in the WMG group at the endpoint were significantly higher than that those at baseline (P < 0.01, P < 0.05, respectively). CONCLUSIONS: Rice-based breakfast has positive effects on fasting insulin levels and HOMA-IR in Korean adolescents who skip breakfast. Additionally, it was found that a skipping breakfast could increase the prevalence of diabetes in adolescents who skip breakfast. Therefore, in addition to reducing breakfast skipping, it is vital to develop a rice-based menu that fits teenage preferences to prevent chronic diseases such as diabetes.
Rape myth acceptance may influence victims are treated and perpetrator blamed and sentenced. And this relationship could be moderated by victim's deviant behavior before rape such as teenage running away from home or drinking alcohol. The present study examined the relationship among rape myth, deviant behavior, blaming victim, pain of victim, responsibility and blame for perpetrator and punishment for the perpetrator. Findings suggest that participants with high rape myth acceptance compared to participants with low rape myth acceptance blamed victim more and blamed and thought responsible the perpetrator less. And this relationship was only significant when the victim had deviant behavior before rape happened. This result shows that specific information(deviant behaior) about victim could trigger rape myth to blame victim and judge the perpetrator leniently. The suggestions for future research and limitations were discussed.

Purpose: This study examined the possibility of muscle strength and balance ability improvement through coordinative locomotor training by making a difference on the supporting plane using a resistance band for adolescent athlete of Taekwondo sparring athletes. Methods: A total of 22 students were selected as to the participants of the study, and 11 students each were randomly assigned to the control and experimental group for coordination locomotor training using a resistance band on stable and unstable supporting surface. The training period was 60 min, three times a week, for 8 weeks in total. To confirm changes on balance ability of each participant, balance assessment devices are used. Moreover, surface electromyography was used for muscle strength evaluation. Results: After coordinated locomotor training using a resistance band for 8 weeks, the difference bet ween groups was not significant; Also, the improvement in strength was no significant difference in other muscles in the between groups, but there was a significant in the muscle activity of the rectus muscle of the right thigh in the experimental group. Conclusion: The participants demonstrated that coordinative locomotor training using the elastic band on an unstable supporting surface was able to obtain junctional effects for the prevention of exercise injuries in youth taekwondo sparring athletes, and muscle activity exercise of the rectus muscle of the right thigh was particularly effective.
The purpose of this study was to provide basic data to improve happiness by verifying the mediating effect of career decision in the relationship between civic consciousness, community consciousness, career decision, and happiness of middle school students. As for the analysis data, the "2020 Gen Z Teenage Values Survey" data surveyed by the Korea Youth Policy Institute was used. Among the survey subjects, 2,703 middle school students who met the purpose of this study were sampled and analyzed using the SPSS WIN 25.0 program. For the analysis method, frequency analysis, descriptive statistical analysis, correlation analysis, and PROCESS MACRO Model Number 4 were used to verify the mediating effect, and indirect effects and significance were analyzed by applying the Bootstrap technique. The results of the study showed, first, that middle school students' sense of citizenship and community had a positive effect on happiness. Second, in the relationship between civic consciousness and happiness, career decision had a partial mediating effect. Third, in the relationship between community consciousness and happiness, career decision had a partial mediating effect. In other words, it is meaningful in that it presented policy alternatives and practical programs to improve the happiness of middle school students.

Augmented reality game has differences with traditional games in the way what it includes physical risks happened in the real world. Although accidents related to Pokemon Go are increasing, academic discussions on the issues are rare. Thus, this study explores risk types caused by the augmented reality game and examined how perception of the risks affect usage intention on the game. This study also provides the research implications through comparative analysis between youth group who generally has the tendency toward game addiction and older group. According to the results, teenagers had less usage intention when perceived financial risk increase. In case of over twenty, time risk had negative relationship with usage intention. Physical risk had no significant effect on usage intention for teenagers, but positive relationship was observed in case over twenty. These results imply the necessity of an appropriate regulation for safe game play.
Recently, the desire for low body weight, which is an abnormal weight construct along with obesity, has become an evident and serious problem in teenagers. In Korea, the desire for low weight is not perceived as an important problem, but it is rapidly expanding relative to the physical changes and developmental issues teenagers experience. The social atmosphere presented through mass media is the key influencer for the increasing low weight occurrence in teenagers. Because thoughts about beauty have changed among people, and since there is apparent blind interest in slim body shape and appearance, already low-weight individuals are attempting to lose weight along with obese persons. Thus, we consider it necessary to guide teenagers toward having correct perceptions with regard to weight and their own body shape, and that a healthy and appropriate weight is beautiful. Therefore, for this study, we investigated body perception, abnormal weight, attitude toward weight control, and factors related to eating behavior among teenage girls, who are considered the at risk group for overt body weight control behavior. Based on this, we have attempted to set in motion a systematic and active nutrition education program that will allow us to increase body satisfaction by educating on nutritional issues related to development, and ultimately, implant healthy body shape perceptions.
