A Study on User-Centered Emotional Illumination Design Using Color Temperature of Light (빛의 색온도를 활용한 사용자 중심의 감성조명 디자인 개발에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this paper is to present the direction of emotional lighting design of a new concept suitable for the user's living environment based on the experiment and the result of the recognition of the cognitive effect of the color of the lighting on the user's sensibility. As a research method, we collected meaningful results of color temperature and emotion of light through literature research and experimented with users in their twenties. Based on this, we presented the design direction of emotional lighting. As a result, we designed emotional lighting that can transform the shape of the four joints freely to realize the user's demand. We also derive the color temperature of light that can be optimized for the user's work and environment, Concentration, mood, and relaxation. The result of this paper is meaningful and worthy of suggesting emotional lighting design with user - oriented new perspective, deviating from previous method of planning lighting.

A Study on Security Management Methods for Information System of Educational Institutions (교육기관의 정보시스템 보안관리 방안 연구)

  • The damage caused by information spill, forgery, falsification, and deletion by cyber infringement in educational institutions and universities is very large. In this study, we analyzed the types, causes, and problems of cyber infringement in educational administrative institutions and universities. As a result, administrative, physical and technical information protection activities were weak. In this paper, we propose a security enhancement method for each domain by dividing them into Internet zone, network-neutral zone (DMZ: Demilitarized Zone), general server zone, internal server zone (Server Farm), and user zone so that these vulnerabilities can be easily identified, supplemented or security enhanced. In addition, we have proposed a method to apply security information system architecture and information protection technology correctly for educational administration institutions and universities. This study is meaningful not to provide conceptual guidance but to suggest specific action and procedure oriented security management plan.

Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor Has Beneficial Effect Independent of Serum Components throughout Oocyte Maturation and Early Embryonic Development in Cattle

  • In our previous studies, we demonstrated that Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor (VEGF) enhances bovine oocyte maturation and early embryonic development in serum supplemented media. In this experiment, to determine the synergistic effect of VEGF with serum components on early embryonic development in vitro in cattle, 1 mg/ml polyvinyl-alcohol (PVA) was replaced with foetal bovine serum (FBS) in maturation and culture media. Bovine oocytes were matured in Synthetic Oviduct Fluid (SOF) supplemented with PVA, PVA+5 ng/ml of VEGF, FBS, or FBS+VEGF. Fertilized oocytes were cultured in the same conditions for 8 days. The development of embryos was examined at 48 h post- insemination and on days 6, 7 and 8. The results were analyzed using repeated measures two- factor ANOVA, in which the effects of VEGF and serum were assigned as two factors. The development rate to 4- to 8-cell embryos at 48 h was significantly higher in the PVA+VEGF group than in the PVA group (44.7% and 31.5%, respectively). However, the highest development rate to 4- to 8-cell embryos was obtained from the FBS+VEGF group (58.8%). On day 8, the blastocyst rates were higher in the PVA+VEGF (22.8%), FBS (32.1%, p<0.05) and FBS+VEGF (42.1%, p<0.05) groups than in the PVA group (17.1%). Two- factor ANOVA of the development rates indicates that VEGF had a significant effect, but had no synergistic effect with serum components on early embryonic development. The results of the present study demonstrate that VEGF improves the in vitro developmental competence of bovine oocytes and/or embryos independent of the effect of serum components.

A Study of Agenda Mining for Humanities-Based Convergence Research (인문사회기반 융합연구 의제 도출 연구)

  • In this study, we analyzed future emerging technologies from the perspective of convergence research and arranged them into mega-trends, trends, and issues, to carry out predictions of the future environment and search for technologies that are expected to be closely related to human life, and ultimately to achieve convergence research agenda that can predict various social problems. First, we investigated and analyzed the literature mentioned about various promising technologies and analyzed them to analyze key words and summarize the most frequently used core key words to infer trends. Then, an agenda was drawn that emphasized connectivity with the humanities-based convergence research by stratifying and organizing the inferred trends and classifying them as core and derived trends. The necessity, innovation, convergence, feasibility, future-oriented, and acceptability of these derived agendas were investigated through a survey. The analysis showed that researchers conducting convergence research showed a high interest in agenda items that deal closely with daily life with feasible technologies in the near future, while they showed a rather low interest in issues such as technology that can be realized in the distant future, terrorism or international conflicts.

  • The periodic monitoring of crop conditions and timely estimation of crop yield are of great importance for supporting agricultural decision-makings, as well as for effectively coping with food security issues. Remote sensing has been regarded as one of effective tools for crop condition monitoring and crop type classification. Since 2010, RDA (Rural Development Administration) has been developing technology for monitoring on crop condition using remote sensing and model. These special papers address recent state-of-the-art of remote sensing and geospatial technologies for providing operational agricultural information, such as, crop yield estimation methods using remote sensing data and process-oriented model, crop classification algorithm, monitoring and prediction of weather and climate based on remote sensing data,system design and architecture of crop monitoring system, history on rice yield forecasting method.

Research of Customized Electric Wheelchair Control System using NFC on Mobile Device Environment (모바일 디바이스 환경 기반의 NFC를 이용한 사용자 맞춤형 전동 휠체어 제어 시스템 연구)

  • In this paper proposes an idea for using NFC(Near Field Communication) on smalt mobile devices, you can easily control the electric wheelchair system. In this system with previous researches controlled a power wheelchair in a mobile device using Bluetooth communication, the board communicates with the integrated control of the wheelchair. With smart mobile devices, the wheelchair control board integrating the signal generated by checking real time so that the user can easily monitor the state of the wheelchair. Users are using smalt mobile devices, the wheelchair can be controlled easily, and the setting at any time according to the state of the individual and can be used. HEX format control is directly in hardware, allowing analysis was read, the user settings are typically used to match cards which support NFC technology such as bus card for registration, storing the selected information and enable read and were applicable. By applying this system, wheelchairs oriented aids disabled and older people able to access to provide with stability.

Finding Frequent Route of Taxi Trip Events Based on MapReduce and MongoDB (택시 데이터에 대한 효율적인 Top-K 빈도 검색)

  • Due to the rapid development of IoT(Internet of Things) technology, traditional taxis are connected through dispatchers and location systems. Typically, modern taxis have embedded with GPS(Global Positioning System), which aims for obtaining the route information. By analyzing the frequency of taxi trip events, we can find the frequent route for a given query time. However, a scalability problem would occur when we convert the raw location data of taxi trip events into the analyzed frequency information due to the volume of location data. For this problem, we propose a NoSQL based top-K query system for taxi trip events. First, we analyze raw taxi trip events and extract frequencies of all routes. Then, we store the frequency information into hash-based index structure of MongoDB which is a document-oriented NoSQL database. Efficient top-K query processing for frequent route is done with the top of the MongoDB. We validate the efficiency of our algorithms by using real taxi trip events of New York City.

The Differences in Strategic Behaviors and Economic Performances Between Serial and Novice Entrepreneurs (연쇄창업의 행태와 성과에 대한 실증연구: ICT 창업초기 벤처기업을 대상으로)

  • This study aims to empirically examine serial entrepreneurship in Korea. Using the ICT startups survey data, I compare serial entrepreneurs with their novice counterparts in terms of business behaviors and performances. I found that serial entrepreneurs are more likely than novice ones to co-found a business with other entrepreneurs, enter a market with relatively large assets and expand their business into overseas market. They tend to put more importance on large-scale production and expansion strategy than first-time entrepreneurs. They are more likely to cooperate with suppliers and customers but less likely with the governments. From their experience of founding and operating businesses, the findings suggest that serial entrepeneurs are more market-oriented and more capable of managing internal human relations and external network of supply chain. Consequently, serial entrepreneurs show stronger early financial performance than novice entrepreneurs especially when they team up to found a business.

  • The purpose of the study was to explore the conceptual and theoretical fundamentals of learning object. Learning object, a new paradigm for instructional design in the era of information technology, has attracted much research efforts since it has lots of advantages in terms of production efficiency and use effectiveness. A theory for the systematic design of this new instructional design, however, looks far from mature. Since the birth of the idea of a learning object has been found in the field of computer software design, such as object-oriented software development, learning object does not have enough theoretical underpinnings in terms of learning and instruction. The researcher tried to establish theoretical foundations for this new, alien concept as a learning design theory. Relevant research efforts and discourses have been discussed for this purpose.

  • All possible efforts have been done to adapt to the information-oriented society throughout the whole area of education. Especially, it is strongly demanded that teachers should effectively apply information communication and disposal to all the educational activities of instruction-learning, students management, school affairs, and administrative affairs. In this thesis, we chose as educational contents the information technology which is necessary in an educational site to increase the capability of applying information of teachers and developed remote training materials. In addition, we developed measurement instruments to evaluate the capability of applying information of teachers and gave grades to them. Grading System of the Capability of Applying Information of Teachers will be a standard of the capability of applying information.
