A continuous development of new products is the lifeblood for firms that hope to maintain competency in competitive environments. Ongoing success in these environments is dependent on whether the management can choose or can't chose the proper mix of new product development strategy, new product development process, and organizational structure. Rather than considering the interrelationship among these success factors, however, most previous studies of new products development have examined these issues individually. Moreover, because past research has been unidimensional in nature, there is a lack of knowledge about how new product development strategy, process, and structure could be linked up each other. Consequently, we have no complete perspective of the linkage among new product development strategy, process, structure, and performance. The purpose of this study is to examine the new product development strategy, process, and structure of firms, and explore the effect of each on performance as well as linkage among strategy, process, strategy and structure.
This paper articulates the STI strategy development principles and methodologies that have been elaborated through iterative processes of STI strategy development cases for the past ten years. The consultation cases include poverty traps in Nepal and Laos, African health challenges in Nigeria and Tanzania, and ASEAN global challenges in Indonesian Water, Vietnamese Green Energy, and Filipino Food, in partnership with some multilateral agencies. The iterative elaboration process has continued with consultation activities on Thailand and on Cambodia, Laos and Myanmar in planning partnership with Thailand. The principles were originally conceptualized from the benchmarking process of the Korean STI development experience. They were further incorporated as methodologies with which relevant planning bodies are guided to address individual and regional challenges through science, technology and innovation strategies. The methodologies are strong in providing plausible holistic perspective scenarios by which various stakeholders can be engaged in the planning and implementation process. But it is heuristic in nature and can be learned only through on-the-job training process. This is the structural limitation for scaling up.

This study is a design and development study that developed instructional strategies based on distributed cognitive theory for science classes using technology according to procedures that ensured reliability and validity. To develop instructional strategies, development study and validation study were conducted according to design and development research methodology procedures. In the development study, an initial instructional strategy was developed through prior literature review and prior expert review. In the validation study, the instructional strategy was validated using internal validation (expert validation, usability evaluation) and external validation (field application evaluation) methods, and the final instructional strategy was developed. The final instructional strategy consisted of 3 instructional principles, 9 instructional strategies, and 38 detailed guidelines. Through this study, the researcher suggested the suitability of instructional strategies for science classes using technology, the usefulness of blocks and teaching and learning processes, the possibility of using technology as a cognitive tool, the need for teachers' efforts to cultivate teaching capabilities using technology, and the needs lesson plan that takes into account conditions affecting the application of instructional strategies.

Technology development strategy factors which are summarized as technology's integration, technology's rotation, and technology's receptiveness are generated by technology development variables through survey of new technology-based firm of IT industry. They have the significant influence on management performance such as Net Sales Growth Rate, ROA and ROI.
This paper analyzes the factors that determine technology innovation in Korean manufacturing firms, focusing on the role of intra-firm knowledge diffusion and market strategy in patent production. For empirical analysis, zero-inflated negative binomial (ZINB) regression is applied to the 2009 Human Capital Corporate Panel data. The empirical findings confirm the critical role of intra-firm knowledge-sharing processes in technology innovation; firms with a market-leading strategy oriented to new product development also tend to be prolific in patent production.

This study is intended to determine that there is a casual relationship between technological innovation capability and new product development performance in small and mid-sized venture companies, and that the introduction of collaboration as a means to step up technological innovation capability will improve new product development performance. To achieve this, a survey was carried out to employees who are engaged in R&D work for small and mid-sized venture companies based in Korea, and the results were analyzed by regression analysis. The findings showed that technology strategy, technology learning and open innovation belonging to technological innovation capability in small and mid-sized venture companies had an effect on new product development performance. In other words, the selection of collaboration as a wider array of core strategies on new product development performance showed that collaboration was a strategy affecting new product development performance. In addition, the moderating role of technological innovation capability in boosting new product development performance through the introduction of collaboration showed that common collaboration had a positive effect on stepping up technology strategy, and collaboration as a core strategy had a positive effect on the size of new product development performance by strengthening technology strategy and open innovation.

The number of dementia patients in Korea is expected to increase to 3.30 million in 2050, and the cost of dementia management will increase sharply to KRW 106.5 trillion of GDP. In August 2017, the Moon Jae-in government announced the 'Dementia National Responsibility System' through a five-year plan for government operation and expanded the Dementia Peace Center nationwide. However, for this, strategic dementia-related technology development strategies should be established and given the role of government and the role of the private sector. Therefore, in order to derive the corresponding strategy, this study developed the government's 'dementia' response technology development strategy through the situation analysis from the political, economic, social, and technological perspective and the environmental (PEST) analysis of the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT). As a result, the direction of technology development in the dementia-related medical device market is expected to become a trend of developing dementia self-measurement by developing low-cost and high-efficiency diagnostic technology products. It has been shown that the development of various products for consumers should begin. As a result, the dementia market approach strategy should be premised, the related technical support and legal restrictions should be minimized, and the education of related experts should be strengthened to solve the government's development of dementia technology and the social problems of dementia. In addition, by developing joint projects with major companies around the world and actively participating in the technology platform, it is important to naturally build up skills accumulation for the development of dementia technology and competence skills of dementia technology experts in the long term.
This study was conducted among university students living in the Daegu-Gyeongbuk region to determine the perception, Preference, and improved consciousness of Gyeongbuk local foods classified by the Yugyo, Silla, Ocean, and Gaya cultures. In the Andong area, subjects demonstrated outstanding, high rates of perception of and preference for local foods. The perception of and preference for foods from the Yugyo and Silla cultures were relatively high compared to those of others. The degree of perception of Gwamegi foods was high, but the degree of preference was rather low. It is believed that establishing new counterplans is necessary to obtain higincrease preference for foods from the Ocean culture. Sigeumjang foods of the Ocean culture showed alow degree of both perception and preference. The analysis showed that there was a discrepancy between the perception of and preference for foods in the Gaya culture. To improve the relationship between awareness of and preference for foods in the same culture we determined that menu strategy, development strategy and sales strategy were important factors. The results of the survey investigating the correlation between improved awareness of and perception of foods showed menu strategy and development strategy had meaningful effects. According to the survey, the factors that influenced choices of foods local to Yugyo were classified into categores-: menu strategy, development strategy, product strategy, and sales strategy.

In the past few decades, the measuring instrument industries have made rapid progress with increase on the demand in industries such as precision instrument, chemistry, electronics, industrial measurement and automobile. Thus, development strategy and technical advancement are required for both securing the competitiveness on products in the world market and industrial development. Intensifying competitiveness of measuring instrument is needed in the world market. It can be achieved by development of measuring instrument holding comparative priority. A development strategy should be drawn up in the long-term point of view for coping with the increasing demand of measuring instrument and securing competitiveness in the world market.
