A Study on the establishment of IoT management process in terms of business according to Paradigm Shift (패러다임 전환에 의한 기업 측면의 IoT 경영 프로세스 구축방안 연구)

  • This study examined the concepts of the Internet of Things(IoT), the major issue and IoT trend in the domestic and international market. also reviewed the advent of IoT era which caused a 'Paradigm Shift'. This study proposed a solution for the appropriate corresponding strategy in terms of Enterprise. Global competition began in the IoT market. So, Businesses to be competitive and responsive, the government's efforts, as well as the efforts of companies themselves is needed. In particular, in order to cope with the dynamic environment appropriately, faster and more efficient strategy is required. In other words, proposed a management strategy that can respond the IoT competitive era on tipping point through the vision of paradigm shift. We forecasted and proposed the emergence of paradigm shift through a comparative analysis of past management paradigm and IoT management paradigm as follow; I) Knowledge & learning oriented management, II) Technology & innovation oriented management, III) Demand driven management, IV) Global collaboration management. The Knowledge & learning oriented management paradigm is expected to be a new management paradigm due to the development of IT technology development and information processing technology. In addition to the rapid development such as IT infrastructure and processing of data, storage, knowledge sharing and learning has become more important. Currently Hardware-oriented management paradigm will be changed to the software-oriented paradigm. In particular, the software and platform market is a key component of the IoT ecosystem, has been estimated to be led by Technology & innovation oriented management. In 2011, Gartner announced the concept of "Demand-Driven Value Networks(DDVN)", DDVN emphasizes value of the whole of the network. Therefore, Demand driven management paradigm is creating demand for advanced process, not the process corresponding to the demand simply. Global collaboration management paradigm create the value creation through the fusion between technology, between countries, between industries. In particular, cooperation between enterprises that has financial resources and brand power and venture companies with creative ideas and technical will generate positive synergies. Through this, The large enterprises and small companies that can be win-win environment would be built. Cope with the a paradigm shift and to establish a management strategy of Enterprise process, this study utilized the 'RTE cyclone model' which proposed by Gartner. RTE concept consists of three stages, Lead, Operate, Manage. The Lead stage is utilizing capital to strengthen the business competitiveness. This stages has the goal of linking to external stimuli strategy development, also Execute the business strategy of the company for capital and investment activities and environmental changes. Manege stage is to respond appropriately to threats and internalize the goals of the enterprise. Operate stage proceeds to action for increasing the efficiency of the services across the enterprise, also achieve the integration and simplification of the process, with real-time data capture. RTE(Real Time Enterprise) concept has the value for practical use with the management strategy. Appropriately applied in this study, we propose a 'IoT-RTE Cyclone model' which emphasizes the agility of the enterprise. In addition, based on the real-time monitoring, analysis, act through IT and IoT technology. 'IoT-RTE Cyclone model' that could integrate the business processes of the enterprise each sector and support the overall service. therefore the model be used as an effective response strategy for Enterprise. In particular, IoT-RTE Cyclone Model is to respond to external events, waste elements are removed according to the process is repeated. Therefore, it is possible to model the operation of the process more efficient and agile. This IoT-RTE Cyclone Model can be used as an effective response strategy of the enterprise in terms of IoT era of rapidly changing because it supports the overall service of the enterprise. When this model leverages a collaborative system among enterprises it expects breakthrough cost savings through competitiveness, global lead time, minimizing duplication.

  • In the 21st century knowledge and information society, Electronic Contracts made with the intention of electronic computer information networks are emerging as a new legal problem which can not be solved in the conventional legal system governing contracts. In other words, the indicator's decision determines the effect and formation of the contracts in the face-to-face or written contracts but electronic decision through computer information network is established the working process of electronic signals-electronic contracts are not only difficult to separate the decision-making process but questioned to be solved by the theory of the general legal action. Ministry of Transportation is scheduled to introduce real estate sales and lease contract using a variety of electronic devices such as computer, tablet PC, smart phones and so on without a paper contract. This system is conducted to global expansion of Seoul in demonstration zone on May 8, 2016 and will be implemented nationwide in the second half of 2017. Electronics contract Real estate has some benefits because made by linking electronic contract system and the electronic registration system - the economic effects discounts on various kinds of fees, the prevention from real estate fraud beforehand and the solution to the complexity of the process the seller and the buyer visits The Real estate agency. However, it has some problem- the disorder in the real estate contract market, the occurrence of the real estate agency accident and the author of the electronic real estate contracts have limited only to realtor. In this paper, I suggest the activation plan to search for establishment and effect of electronic contracts and declaration of intention in electronic depending on the Electronic Contract Real Estate system.

  • The IT services industry is considered as the leading industry of the ubiquitous age that raises a nation's overall productivity and efficiency. Therefore, it is receiving increasing attention as the industry that can bring about economic takeoff and successful overseas market entrance for the next generation. In order to achieve successful development, the industry should be competitive and armed with strategies that well demonstrate the characteristics of IT services. Therefore, it is important to explore the competitive factors of the industry for its qualitative development from the perspectives of IT services industry policies and as well as IT services companies. This study categorized IT services into three types-system integration, IT consulting, and IT outsourcing- and then examined the competitive factors of each service type and their relationships with financial and non-financial performances. In conclusion, the current competitiveness of domestic IT services industry is attributed to institutions environment rather than its competitive advantages in technology, quality, know-how, and highly qualified human resources. In order to facilitate the sound growth of the IT industry and seek reasonable market competition, the environment that puts its priority on the improvement of institutions environment and the ability to carry out a project needs to be established. In all, this study can be utilized as an important knowledge for the establishment of polices to foster IT services industry and of strategies that raise competitiveness to maximize the performances of companies.

  • Agent-mediated electronic markets have been a grow-ing area of agent research and developmen tin recent year. There exist a lot of e-commerce sites on the In-ternet(e.g. Priceline, com, Amazon, com etc). These e-commerce site have proposed new business models for effective and efficient commerce activity. Intelli-gent agents have been studied very widely in the field of artificial intelligence, For purpose of this paper, an agent can act autonomously and collaboratively in a network environment on behalf of its users. It is hard for people to effectively and efficiently monitor, buy, and sell at multiple e-commerce sites. If we intro-duce agent technologies into e-commerce systems, we can expect to further enhance the intelligence of their support. In this paper, we propose a new coopera-tion mechanism among seller agents based on exchang-ing their goods in our agent-mediated electronic market system. G-Commerce. On G-Commerce, seller agents and buyer agents negotiate with each other. In our model, seller agents cooperatively negotiate in order to effectively sell goods in stock. Buyer agents coopera-tively form coalitions in order to buy goods based an discount proices. Seller agent's negotiation goods. Our current experiments show that exchanging mechanism enables seller agents to effectively sell goods in stock. Also, we present the Pareto optimality of our exchang-ing mechanism.

  • Recently, construction industry has won an increasing number of orders for overseas construction projects, thereby achieving an external growth, but its competiveness is concentrated on the construction execution field. In particular, the plant field occupies most of the entire orders, which are concentrated regionally in the Middle East and Asia. In addition, low-cost orders are frequently caused by excessive competition. But its high value-added construction engineering(Below, CE) field's overseas market share and technological capacity are very low. Also, technological competiveness, in terms of order amount and other factors, is deepening in polarization between large CE companies and small and medium-sized CE firms. It is noted that the existing CE information systems mostly simply accumulate data such as design and specification standards and provide the information thereon to users, and thus have yet to provide the information essential for the CE and support such efforts. This study sought to prepare a system designed for sharing outstanding design documents information necessary for the CE industry, by category of construction so as to support the technological enhancement of the CE field. Toward that end, this study presented measures for constructing the system and services designed to exchange and share the outstanding design documents information and know-how by construction category necessary between ordering agencies and CE companies.

  • The aim of this paper is to project the state of the labor farce and employment in Korea from 2000 to 2005. The labor market in Korea is experiencing significant changes with the rapid development of Information and Telecommunication Technology (ICT) and the transition of the Korean economy into a knowledge-based economy. On the labor supply side, it is expected that the growth of the labor force will be sluggish; baby boomers will become the middle-aged, while the proportion of senior citizens, the highly educated and the female labor force will grow fast. These changes will alter the human resources management system in business sectors. Moreover, the permanent employment relationship, the hierarchy system and the seniority-based wage system are all expected to change. On the labor demand side, the employment share in highly skilled. knowledge-intensive industries will grow faster than the rest of the economy in tandem with the quickly growing output share of these industries. Especially, more jobs will be created in the ICT industries. The proportion of labor in highly skilled and professional occupations will also grow faster than in other occupations. At the same time, the employment share of female workers will grow more quickly than that of the male workers. These changes, however, may worsen income inequalities and/or increase the unemployment rate when workers do not have the suitable skills or knowledge required by the knowledge-based economy. To avoid this, it is necessary for the government to build up a lifetime learning system for workers.

All around in the world, Interest about a small and medium enterprise is becoming higher. It is actively researching into a small and medium enterprise as the mean to create new employment, new industry, as means to from integration of a all and medium enterprise,as source of high competitive power. The status quo of rapid changing into informationization have been realized at considerable level in Korea. Information society is defined as information technology is main key to determine individuals competitiveness, which can solve effectively the side effect result from industrialization. It cleary imply that information technology is the most promising and important industry in 21st century. Therefore, We should seek to foster independent a small and medium enterprise and develop them corresponding to new concept of a small and medium enterprise in 21st century. The main frame of policy should be new economic system, which can contribute establishment of a small and medium enterprise, management innovation. It also attribute a small and medium enterprise to reveal their creative. New economic paradigm in 21st will be expanded with organization, market, technology. So far, a small and medium enterprise has been acknowledge as economic weaker and the one should be protected. However, In 21st century a small and medium enterprise will be considered as active majority or a source of creative. Development of technology to produce a small quantity with variety product and acceleration of knowledge and informationization will result in comparative merits of a small and medium enterprise. Hereby, The role and relative importance of a small and medium enterprise in our economic will getting be larger and It will be developed as the main force to activate the economic.   • Recently, companies and public institutions have been actively introducing chatbot services in the field of customer counseling and response. The introduction of the chatbot service not only brings labor cost savings to companies and organizations, but also enables rapid communication with customers. Advances in data analytics and artificial intelligence are driving the growth of these chatbot services. The current chatbot can understand users' questions and offer the most appropriate answers to questions through machine learning and deep learning. The advancement of chatbot core technologies such as NLP, NLU, and NLG has made it possible to understand words, understand paragraphs, understand meanings, and understand emotions. For this reason, the value of chatbots continues to rise. However, technology-oriented chatbots can be inconsistent with what users want inherently, so chatbots need to be addressed in the area of the user experience, not just in the area of technology. The Fourth Industrial Revolution represents the importance of the User Experience as well as the advancement of artificial intelligence, big data, cloud, and IoT technologies. The development of IT technology and the importance of user experience have provided people with a variety of environments and changed lifestyles. This means that experiences in interactions with people, services(products) and the environment become very important. Therefore, it is time to develop a user needs-based services(products) that can provide new experiences and values to people. This study proposes a chatbot development process based on user needs by applying the design thinking approach, a representative methodology in the field of user experience, to chatbot development. The process proposed in this study consists of four steps. The first step is 'setting up knowledge domain' to set up the chatbot's expertise. Accumulating the information corresponding to the configured domain and deriving the insight is the second step, 'Knowledge accumulation and Insight identification'. The third step is 'Opportunity Development and Prototyping'. It is going to start full-scale development at this stage. Finally, the 'User Feedback' step is to receive feedback from users on the developed prototype. This creates a "user needs-based service (product)" that meets the process's objectives. Beginning with the fact gathering through user observation, Perform the process of abstraction to derive insights and explore opportunities. Next, it is expected to develop a chatbot that meets the user's needs through the process of materializing to structure the desired information and providing the function that fits the user's mental model. In this study, we present the actual construction examples for the domestic cosmetics market to confirm the effectiveness of the proposed process. The reason why it chose the domestic cosmetics market as its case is because it shows strong characteristics of users' experiences, so it can quickly understand responses from users. This study has a theoretical implication in that it proposed a new chatbot development process by incorporating the design thinking methodology into the chatbot development process. This research is different from the existing chatbot development research in that it focuses on user experience, not technology. It also has practical implications in that companies or institutions propose realistic methods that can be applied immediately. In particular, the process proposed in this study can be accessed and utilized by anyone, since 'user needs-based chatbots' can be developed even if they are not experts. This study suggests that further studies are needed because only one field of study was conducted. In addition to the cosmetics market, additional research should be conducted in various fields in which the user experience appears, such as the smart phone and the automotive market. Through this, it will be able to be reborn as a general process necessary for 'development of chatbots centered on user experience, not technology centered'.

The Key Factors of Successful Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in China

  • Purpose: China's economy has changed considerably in recent decades. By delivering a comprehensive knowledge of the elements that support successful foreign direct investment (FDI) in China and practical insights for multinational firms operating in this dynamic environment, this research offers a new perspective and sets itself apart from previous studies. Research design, data and methodology: It is necessary to give a thorough overview of the body of information on successful FDI in China, which justifies the adoption of a systematic literature review. The study may use a wide range of studies because of this methodology, which guarantees that inferences have a solid and supported basis in data. Results: The findings in the present study have clarified how China's government policies and regulatory framework affect foreign direct investment (FDI). Previous studies have indicated that regulatory changes can significantly impact FDI. For instance, more foreign direct investment (FDI) has been drawn to liberalized industries such as technology and finance. Conclusions: In conclusion, for foreign direct investment (FDI) to be successful in China, it is essential to consider these four factors: local partnerships and cultural adaptation, market research and entry strategy, regulatory environment and policy support, and risk management and contingency planning.

The Status and Network Characteristics of Regional Innovation Support Agencies(company support agencies and R&D institutes) in Daegu City, Korea (대구지역 기업지원 및 연구기관 현황과 네트워크의 특성)

  • This paper attempts to show the status and network characteristic of regional innovation support agencies(company support agencies and R&D institutes, RISA) which play an important role in the regional system of innovation in Daegu City, using questionnaire data. Most of these agencies were established in 1990s and tend to locate in Buk-Gu and Dalsu-Gu, being major local universities which retain a large number of R&D and industry support agencies. The business areas of the agencies are largely associated with business training and applied research. Their major role is to provide the information that local firms need to acquire. It shows that they have relationships with 1 to 5 agencies, primarily in the form of informal network, for the purpose of sharing information and knowledge about science/technology and market trend. There are not many spin-offs from RISA. But most of spin-offs from RISA are located in Daegu City and maintain cooperative relationships with their parent organization primarily in the form of formal network. The main purpose of cooperative relationships with RISA is to interchange knowledges about technology.
