가정정보화와 가정관리학의 과제 (Home informationization and Future direction of Home management)

  • Trying to give an overview of home informationization accelerated by the information age, the main purpose of this research is to suggest a guide for home Economics to adjust to the era. While the informatinization in home provides convenience and plays a major role to improve the quality of the life there are still many problems to be reflected on. First of all in order to utilize a variety of information devices it is needed that technical index related to home management such as home information device index and the expenditure on information is studied. Secondly, it is needed to predict possible home life style in the future and build up the ability to adjust to the change. Therefore, in the field of home economics, developing programs to offer the better chance of education on home life and culture, values, relationships, capability to enhance home life etc, is in urgent need of reflection.

High Contrast Red, Green, and Blue Organic Lightemitting Diodes using Inorganic Metal Multi Layers

  • High contrast red, green and blue organic light-emitting diodes were fabricated using inorganic metal multi layer composed of thin Al, KCl and thick Al and then were compared to optical and electrical characteristics with the attached polarizer and conventional OLEDs. Ambient light reflection of OLED using inorganic metal layer, polarizer and conventional metal layer were 29.2, 31.1 and 82.5% respectively. Optical characteristics of OLEDs using inorganic metal layer were max luminescence of 13040 cd/m2 and luminous efficiency of 2.12 cd/A at 8V whereas OLEDs using polarizer has 8456 cd/m2 and 1.43 cd/A at 8V each. OLEDs including inorganic metal multi layers show significant technical advantages in achieving high performance of OLED display with improved contrast ratio of 251:1, specifically in Red OLED.

  • The theoretical analysis and synthesis of prospects for the development of distance learning in Ukraine, the main topical problems of distance education in Ukraine are considered, the main factors that hinder the introduction of distance learning are analyzed, to pay attention to the need to increase the level of computer literacy among Ukrainian educators and the formation of modern methodology of distance learning, in particular, a single, systematic, national approach of organization, coordination and control in this area. Research methods: analytical method, method of structural and functional analysis, phenomenological method, content analysis method, philosophical reflection method, sociological methods (questionnaire, interview).

  • Resorting to electronic arbitration to resolve disputes in international trade contracts is the most important reflection of technological progress on the reality of international commercial arbitration. Electronic is a modern image of traditional arbitration, and this type of arbitration provides many advantages that are not provided by any legal system for resolving disputes, including speed, effectiveness and lower costs. What will this development produce? Through technical progress in the means of communication, it has become conceivable that international trade dealers agree to arbitration via electronic means of communication, followed by the completion of the arbitration process via the Internet, leading to the issuance of the electronic arbitration award in an electronic manner as well.

교육실습생의 실천적 지식 구성에 대한 관찰 - 지리 수업조직을 사례로 - (Observation on the Constructing Practical Knowledge of Student Teachers: A Case of Geography Classroom Organization)

  • 본 연구는 두 교육실습생의 지리 수업조직에 대한 실천적 지식의 구성을, 그 배경이 되는 심층동기와 이론적 지식의 경험부터 교실이라는 실제 맥락에서 이루어지는 수업 실행과 반성적 실천에 이르는 과정에 참여 관찰한 질적 사례 연구이다. 주된 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 1) 두 교생의 '지리교사'에 대한 동기는 가장 바람직한 '본질적 동기'를 가지고 있었으며, 이들의 '예비 지리교사'로서의 정체성 형성은 지리와 지리교육에 대한 긍정적인 이해에서 시작되었다. 2) 두 교생의 수업은 대략 $9{\sim}14$개의 단락으로 조직되었다. 도입 정리 단계의 단락 조직과 전개 단계의 단락 조직 방식과 기능은 다르게 나타났다. 전개 단계의 시간 비중이 가장 높았고, 시간 비중이 가장 낮은 정리 단계는 단락 활동이 생략되거나 축소되는 등 가장 불규칙하게 조직되었다. 3) '반성적 사고의 틀'에 의거하여 분석한 두 교생의 반성적 사고는 '기술적인 수준'과 '숙고적인 수준'이 교차되어 나타나는 바람직한 수준이었다. 이러한 연구 내용과 결과는 교사 교육자들에게 '가르칠 줄 아는 것'과 '가르치는 것에 대해 아는 것' 사이의 관계를 지금까지와는 다른 방식으로 이해하는 것이 필요함을 시사한다.

고해상도 SAR 위성영상의 스페클 divergence와 객체기반 영상분류를 이용한 주거지역 추출 (Detection of Settlement Areas from Object-Oriented Classification using Speckle Divergence of High-Resolution SAR Image)

  • 도시지역은 지구상에서 가장 변화가 활발히 일어나는 지역 중의 하나로써, 우리나라에서도 산림지나 녹지, 농경지가 주거지역, 공업지역 등의 주거지역으로 빠르게 변화하고 있다. 이러한 빠른 토지이용의 변화를 모니터링하기 위해서는 신속한 데이터의 취득을 필요로 하게 되고, 위성영상은 이러한 요구의 대안이 될 수 있다. 일반적으로 SAR 위성은 능동적 탐측체계로 영상을 취득하기 때문에 지표면의 거칠기에 따라 영상의 밝기값이 결정되며, 대표적으로 수계영역은 반사강도가 낮아 어둡게 나타나고, 인공구조물이 분포하고 있는 주거지역의 경우 반사강도가 높아 타 지역에 비해 밝기값이 높게 나타난다. 이러한 SAR 영상의 특성을 이용하면 주거지역을 효과적으로 추출할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 고해상도 X-band SAR 위성인 독일의 TerraSAR-X, 우리나라의 KOMPSAT-5를 이용하여 주거지역의 추출을 수행하였으며, 추출을 위해서 영상분할기법을 통한 객체기반 영상분류를 적용하였다. 영상분할의 정확도를 향상시키기 위해서 스페클 divergence를 먼저 계산하여 주거지역의 반사강도를 조정하였다. 두 위성영상의 정확도 평가를 위해서 추가로 픽셀기반의 K-means 영상분류법을 적용하여 주거지역을 분류하였다. 연구의 결과로써 TerraSAR-X의 객체기반 영상분류법은 약 88.5%, 픽셀기반영상분류법은 75.9%, KOMPSAT-5는 약 87.3%와 74.4%의 overall accuracy를 보였다.

자동차 관련 용어의 수용 양상과 정립의 필요성 (Study on the Acceptance and Establishment of Automobile Terminology)

  • As the Western technologies have been introduced to our culture since the modern age. We have uncritically accepted Japanese style terminology for new things without reflection on the relations of concept, language and fact. Concept is the basis of human thinking and also a criterion of distinguishing what we see and hear. Thus, establishment of concept and naming are important once new technologies or objects are created. In the study, we will take automobile terminology which is relatively familiar to us for example in order to explain the importance of naming. We will reflect our reality where the Japanese style terminology and English style terminology for the automobile components and structures are mixed up and urge the need of establishing the easier terminology. Reorganizing the terminology is also important but automotive engineers and linguists need to work together on ways to translate the terminology into easier ones for common people.

  • An analysis of the courses from American architectural institutions during the period of $1890^{\sim}1950$ reveals an emergence of a distinction between a purely architectural and an architectural engineering discipline. A reflection of the economic growth, industrialization and urbanization of a nation; the education of the American architect during that period assumed a professional character. In contrast to European technical institutions which concentrate on the engineering aspects of architecture, American institutions developed a more comprehensive, design oriented curriculum within the framework of the American university system. The establishment of a system of formal education for architects and architectural engineers, replacing the tradition of apprenticeship, made it possible to train future professionals according to their ideals. But the objectives, contents and products of these curricula took on divergent characteristics from institution to institution. The growth of legal regulations( ie. ACSA, NAAB, NCARB, ASEE, etc.) governing the registration of architects and engineers, emphasized the legitimate concern within the profession to determine an acceptable standard of professional education. Such regulatory standards influenced the transition of architectural engineering education in institutions including the case of MIT. As a result, the ambivalence in architectural engineering programs found specific resolution in programs, such as architectural engineering, building engineering, construction or civil engineering.

R&D 프로젝트 투자 의사결정을 위한 실물옵션 의사결정나무 모델 (Real Option Decision Tree Models for R&D Project Investment)

  • R&D is a foundation for new business chance and productivity improvement leading to enormous expense and a long-term multi-step process. During the R&D process, decision-makers are confused due to the various future uncertainties that influence economic and technical success of the R&D projects. For these reasons, several decision-making models for R&D project investment have been suggested; they are based on traditional methods such as Discounted Cash Flow (DCF), Decision Tree Analysis (DTA) and Real Option Analysis (ROA) or some fusion forms of the traditional methods. However, almost of the models have constraints in practical use owing to limits on application, procedural complexity and incomplete reflection of the uncertainties. In this study, to make the constraints minimized, we propose a new model named Real Option Decision Tree Model which is a conceptual combination form of ROA and DTA. With this model, it is possible for the decision-makers to simulate the project value applying the uncertainties onto the decision making nodes.

유기 발광 소자의 광추출 효율 향상을 위한 마이크로 렌즈 어레이의 시뮬레이션 (Simulation of Microlens Array for the Improvement of Outcoupled Efficiency of Organic Light-emitting Diodes)

  • Performance of organic light-emitting diodes incorporating microlens array was simulated using a Light Tools software. Use of microlens array can help the light to escape out of the device. We simulated a reference device that is consisted of reflection layer, emissive layer, and flat transparent substrate. And in this reference device, outcoupled efficiency of 22% was obtained. Several shapes of microlens were applied such as hemisphere, trapezoid, cone, and rectangular parallelepiped. The results showed the improvement of outcoupled efficiency of the device with microlens compared to that of the reference one. And from the analyses of the simulated data, the obtained appropriate shape of microlens is hemisphere, and the improvement of the device with hemispherical lens is 57% higher than that of the reference one.
