  • An action-selection-mechanism is proposed to deal with sequential behaviors, where associations between some of stimulus and behaviors will be learned by a shortest-path-finding-based reinforcement team ins technique. To be specific, we define behavioral motivation as a primitive node for action selection, and then sequentially construct a network with behavioral motivations. The vertical path of the network represents a behavioral sequence. Here, such a tree fur our proposed ASM can be newly generated and/or updated. whenever a new sequential behaviors is learned. To show the validity of our proposed ASM, some experimental results on a "pushing-box-into-a-goal task" of a mobile robot will be illustrated.

근거기반실무를 활용한 응급간호 수업 운영의 효과 (Effect of Emergency Nursing Class using Evidence-Based Practice)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 근거기반실무를 활용한 응급간호 수업 운영의 효과를 확인하기 위함이다. 본 연구는 단일군 전후설계연구이다. 본 연구는 일개 대학교의 3학년 간호대학생 54명을 대상으로 시행되었으며, 자료수집기간은 2019년 9월 2일부터 12월 2일이었다. 근거기반실무를 활용한 응급간호 수업은 근거기반실무의 5단계를 활용하여, 13차시로 진행되었다. 수업 운영은 강의, 팀기반학습, 사례기반학습으로 구성하였다. 자료분석은 SPSS/WIN 21.0 프로그램을 이용하였으며, 기술통계와 paired t-test를 이용하여 분석하였다. 근거기반실무를 활용한 응급간호 수업 후, 근거기반실무 신념(t=-2.76, p=.008), 근거기반실무 역량(t=-5.035, p<.001)은 통계적으로 유의하게 향상되었다. 반면 비판적사고성향은 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 없었다. 연구 결과는 근거기반실무를 활용한 응급간호 수업이 간호 학생의 근거기반실무 신념과 역량을 향상시키는 효과적인 교육전략임을 확인할 수 있었다.

학습조직 구축요인이 간호사의 조직몰입에 미치는 영향;MBTI 성격유형별 비교분석 (An Analysis of Learning Organization Affecting on Organizational Commitment;According to MBTI Personality Type;)

  • Purpose: This study was designed to analyze effects of learning organization on organizational commitment based on the MBTI personality type. Methods: The participants were 521 nurses working in the 4 general hospitals located in Seoul, Incheon and Kyunggido. The data were collected by self-reporting questionnaires. The data were analyzed using SAS program for descriptive and Stepwise multiple regression analysis. Results: The most frequent identified personality type was ISTJ and the least identified personal types was ENFJ. It is differ to recognize the learning organization according to personality type. In an aspect of organizational commitment, the statistically significant learning organizational factors according to nurse's MBTI personality type is revealed slightly different. In other word, Shared Vision is a statistically significant factor in ISTJ, ISTP, ISFP, ESTJ and ESFJ. System Thinking is a statistically significant factor in ISFJ. Team learning is a statistically significant factor in ESTP and ISTP. Mental Model is a statistically significant factor in ISTP. Conclusion: As our results, the effects of learning organization on organizational commitment were different according to the nurse's MBTI personality type. So these results will be used to develop the more effective strategies to enhance nurse's organizational commitment using construction of learning organization.

간호대학생의 비판적 사고성향, 심층적 학습접근방식, 학습자간 상호작용이 간호과정 자신감에 미치는 영향: 팀 기반 학습을 중심으로 (The influence of critical thinking disposition, deep approaches to learning and learner-to-learner interaction on nursing process confidence in nursing students, with a focus on team-based learning)

  • Purpose: This study uses a descriptive research design to identify the influence of critical thinking disposition, deep approaches to learning, and interaction between learners on the degree of nursing process confidence for nursing students. Methods: The subjects of the study were second-year students in the Department of Nursing at a university in G city. The data included general characteristics, critical thinking disposition, deep approaches to learning, learner-to-learner interaction, and nursing process confidence were analyzed utilizing an independent t-test, one-way ANOVA, and Scheffe's test to identify differences in the variables according to general characteristics. To identify the correlation between the factors related to the nursing process and nursing process confidence, Pearson's correlation was analyzed, and hierarchical regression was used to determine the factors affecting the confidence of the subject's nursing process. Results: Gender, critical thinking disposition, and in-depth learning approach were statistically significant as factors affecting the nursing process confidence of nursing students, and these factors were shown to explain 62% of nursing course performance (F=23.80, p<.001), among which in-depth learning access has the greatest influence (β=.41, p<.001). Conclusion: Critical thinking disposition and deep approaches to learning arbitration program development are necessary to improve nursing students' nursing process confidence.

기초간호과학 수업에서 액션러닝 적용 사례연구 : 성찰일지 내용분석 중심으로 (A Case Study on application of Action Learning in Basic Nursing Science: by Contents Analysis of the Reflection Journals)

  • 본 연구는 기초간호과학 수업에 적합한 액션러닝 수업을 설계하고 이를 적용한 후 간호학생의 교육 경험의 의미를 알아보기 위해 시행되었다. 연구대상은 S시 소재 K대학의 간호학과에서 기초간호과학 수업에 참여한 학생 100명이었고 자료수집은 2019년 3월부터 2020년 6월까지 진행되었다. 기초간호과학 수업은 팀 당 5-6명, 총 18개 팀이 액션러닝을 진행하였고. 수업 후 성찰일지를 수집한 후 내용분석법으로 분석하였다. 연구결과 액션러닝 기반 기초간호 과학 수업에 대한 경험은 45개의 의미 있는 진술과 8개의 주제, 4개의 범주로 도출되었고, 4개의 범주는 「해부학에 대한 자신감」, 「성장하는 팀워크」, 「학습법을 터득함」, 「진행과정의 어려움」이었다. 액션러닝 적용 수업은 문제해결능력, 팀워크, 자기 주도적 학습에 효과적인 것으로 나타나 다른 간호학 교과목에서도 액션러닝을 적용하여 효과를 평가해 볼 것을 제안한다.

'간호관리 및 윤리' 교과목의 문제중심학습 패키지 개발 및 평가 (Development and Evaluation of a Problem-based Learning in Nursing Management and Ethics)

  • Purpose: This study was aimed to develop and evaluate of a Problem-based Learning (PBL) in the course of Nursing Management and Ethics. Method: The design of the study was both methodological and one group only pre-post design. The sample included 61 senior students who are currently enrolled in Nursing management and Ethics course in college of nursing. Data regarding PBL evaluation were collected on the critical thinking and clinical reasoning using structured questionnaires during March to June, 2005. Data were analyzed using descriptives and paired t-test. Results: A total of three PBL packages was developed by the two faculty members and two teaching assistants who are majoring in nursing management. PBL packages that had been developed was applied to 61 senior students for three months. Critical thinking and clinical reasoning were measured twice pre and post the application of PBL packages. There were statistically significant differences in the critical thinking and clinical reasoning between the pre and post PBL application. Conclusion: PBL was considered to be effective in understanding the learning concepts in the Nursing Management and Ethics. Further research on the facilitative strategies and development model considering the characteristics of Nursing Management and Ethics course is needed.

학령전기 아동 성장발달의 PBL 모듈 개발 (Development of a Problem-Based Learning Module for Preschoolers' Growth & Development)

  • 문제중심학습(PBL)은 간호 임상실습 시 간호 지식, 기술과 태도를 통합하는 학습자 중심의 교육이다. 본 연구는 간호학 교과과정 가운데 학령전기 아동 성장발달의 PBL 모듈을 적용하기 위한 사전 연구이다. 이에 본 양적연구는 PBL 모듈을 Dick과 Carye의 프로그램 개발 과정(계획, 개발, 적용, 평가 단계)에 따라 개발하였고 2학년 간호대학생을 대상으로 구조화된 설문지를 활용하여 그 효과를 평가하였다. PBL 모듈은 각 팀 당 4-5명의 학생이 약 40분 정도 참여하였다. 수집된 자료는 기술통계, t-test, 내용분석을 하였다. 그 결과 간호대학생의 메타인지 수준이 유의하게 증가하였고, 팀 효능감은 모듈 참여 전후로 유의한 차이가 없었으며, 사후 학습만족도가 높은 수준으로 나타났다. 간호대학생은 PBL 모듈 참여 후 학령전기 아동성장발달에 관한 지식 및 문제해결능력을 습득하였고 PBL 참여 시 팀워크에 대해 만족한다고 응답하였다. 따라서 본 연구 결과는 간호 교과과정 내 PBL 모듈의 적용을 고려하기 위한 근거 자료를 제공하였다.

스마트 교육 커뮤니티 정보기반 도시재생 (Information-Based Urban Regeneration for Smart Education Community)

  • This research is to analyze the public cases of information facilities in terms of central circulations in multi level volumes such as atrium or court which provide visual intervention between different spaces and physical connections such as bridges. Hunt Library design balances the understood pre-existing needs with the University's emerging needs to create a forward-thinking learning environment. While clearly a contemporary structure within a traditional context of the NCSU campus, the Hunt Library provides a positive platform for influencing its surroundings. Both technical and programmatic innovations are celebrated as part of the learning experience and provide a versatile and stimulating environment for students. Public library as open spaces connecting to an interactive social domain over communities can provide variety of learning environments, or technology based labs. There are many cases of the public information spaces with dynamic networks where participants can play their roles in physical space as well as in the intellectual stimulation. In the research, new public projects provide typologies of information spaces with user oriented media. The research is to address a creative transition between the reading space and the experimental links of the integration of state-of-the-art technology is highly visible in the building's design. The user-friendly browsing system that replaces the traditional browsing with the virtual shelves classified and archived by their form, is to reduce the storage space of the public library and it is to allow more space for collaborative learning. In addition to the intelligent robot of information storages, innovative features is the large-scale visualization space that supports team experiments to carry out collaborative online works and therefore the public library's various programs is to provide visitors with more efficient participatory environment.

장래 해수수질 변화에 따른 머신러닝 기반 해수담수 전력비 예측 모형 개발 (Prediction model for electric power consumption of seawater desalination based on machine learning by seawater quality change in future)

  • 본 연구는 머신러닝 기반의 분석으로 해수담수화(Desalination) 시설의 전력비 예측모델의 가능성을 검토하였다. 해수담수화 주요 공정인 역삼투(Seawater Reverse Osmosis) 시설의 전력비 예측 모델을 개발하고, 전력비 산정에 영향을 미치는 인자를 분석하였으며, 해수 수질 중에서 선정된 수온 및 염분도 측정자료를 활용하여 검토하였다. 국립해양조사원(Korea Hydrographic and Oceanographic Agency, KHOA)의 2003년부터 2014년까지의 자료를 이용하였으며, 모형의 구조는 시행오차법(Trial & Error)으로 하이퍼파라미터를 최적화하여 머신러닝 기반의 예측 모델을 구축하고, 장래 해수 수질을 예측하였다. 해수 수온은 기존 패턴과 유사할 것으로 예측되었고, 염분도는 과거 측정자료 범위 이내로 최대값이 점차 감소되는 경향을 보여 해수담수화의 전력비가 약 0.80% 감소하는 것으로 검토되었다. 본 연구는 머신러닝 기반의 예측 모델을 구축하여 장래 수질 변화 예측하였으며, 해수 수질 변동의 영향 및 대안을 제시했다는데 의의가 있다.

Earth System Science (ESS) Course for Urban Planning and Engineering Undergraduate Students

  • Urban planning and engineering undergraduate students need to understand the earth physical systems and that how human beings interact with the earth systems to planning and engineering urban area. The eco-friendly or geo-friendly design and planning of an urban area is a critical issue not only for economic benefits but more importantly for the sustainable future of urban life. However, little study has been done dealing with the urban engineering students' understanding of the earth as a system and what pedagogical approach is appropriate to improve their understanding of the earth as a system. This study is to investigate the impact of a purposely designed ESS course on urban engineering students' understanding of the earth as a system and their perceptions about the instructional approaches of the course on their learning competency. This study utilized a mixed-methodology with three main data sources: concept maps, student's perception survey about their learning competency, and course contents. Both the survey and concept maps were analyzed quantitatively as well as qualitatively. The result of this study showed that the urban engineering students' experience of team-based research about the topic they chose based on their own interest had a positive impact on their understanding of the earth as a system and their learning competency. The results of this study suggest that structuring and presenting the earth system contents in the context of engineering students' understanding and their future career be effective not only for the improvement of students' content knowledge but also for the enhancement of their learning competency such as creativity and problem-solving skills in everyday life situation.
