  • One's Clothing Satisfaction, has a great influence on his role behavior in a society. Especially, as for the teacher's and the professors whose role is teaching, it can not be too emphaszed. Above all, high school girls and college women are the most likely to be influenced by their teachers' clothing behavior, to whom they pay their respect in every way. From this point of view, this study was aimed at explaining, the correlation between the teachers/professors' clothing behaviors and the learning efficiency. On clothing behaviors assessed 30 items related with the learning efficiency, selected from the instruments of preceding studies, and modified by the factors dealing with modesty, color, and design. The questionnaires were composed of two major categories: those for students and for teachers/progessors. The subjects of this study were included students and teachers/professors of high school and universities in Seoul. The data were analyzed statically by mean, standard Deviation, and F-test. The results of this study were summerized as follows; 1. The clothing behaviors of the teachers/professors influenced on the learning efficiency. Namely teachers' clothing satisfaction is in direct proportion to them teaching efficiency and students' learning efficiency. 2. Among the clothing behavior variables, modesty had a great influence on the learning efficiency, especially as for that of teachers more than professors. 3. The influence of the teachers'/professors' clothing behaviors on the learning efficiency showed no significance between high school girls and college women, but some significance between the grades of collegians. 4. As for the teachers'/professors' clothing behavior, male teachers/professors gave priority to design and female teachers/professors to modesty, color showed no significance between them irrespective of age. 5. As for the clothing behavior variabels, both the teachers/professors and the students showed some significance. In class the teachers/professors highly responded to their own clothing behaviors than the students. 6. According to priority the most favorable clothing colors for male teachers/professors are navy blue, gray, indigo blue, and black, and the most disgusting ones red, mud yellow, violet, pink, and green. The most favorable clothing colors for female teachers/professors are beign, white, pale yellow, and black, and the most disgusting ones red, mud yellow, and yellow and yellow according to priority. It is that teachers/professors should wear modestly and in color harmony to invite the desirable students' will to study. Teachers'/professors' colorful appearance and heavy toilet bring about a drop in the students' will to study.

  • Objective: This study examined the relationships among teachers' empathy ability, children's peer competence and teacher-child relationships. Methods: 180 teachers and 360 children from 3 to 5 years old were included in the study. The research variables were measured by teachers' self-report through questionnaires. The collected data were analyzed by t-test, one-way ANOVA, and three-step mediated regression analysis. Results: First, teachers' empathy ability and teacher-child relationship showed significant differences according to teacher variables (age, marital status, parental status). And children's peer competence was significantly different according to gender. Second, intimacy which was a subfactor of teacher-child relationships showed a perfect mediating role in the association between teachers' empathy ability and peer competence. Conclusion/Implications: These results suggest the importance of teacher-child's intimate relationships since it affects the child's peer competence significantly. In this study, it was found that, in order to help foster the teacher's empathic ability and teacher-child relationships which have positive effects on the child's desirable peer formation, continuous teacher education and diverse studies are needed.

Data were collected through questionniare survey including observations and interviews. The sample consisted of 262 kindergarten teachers in Pusav. The data were analyzed by using SPSS-PC. The major findings were as follows: (1) Interior finishes should be chosen based on children's behavioral and developmental characteristics. (2) Considering children's safety and teachers' easy access and observation, classrooms and teachers' room should be located at the first floor, and the public spaces such as playroom and assembly room should be located at the top floor because of noise and circulation problem. (3) The size fo the classroom should be increased based on children's age. (4) The teachers were generally satisfied with location, color, and finishes of each room. There was a significant difference between satisfaction of overall characteristics of rooms and theclasses that teachers are in charge of. (5) Children's developmental characteristics can be an important factor when designing a space for childrev. Even though there were some limitations on this study, the findings can be utilized as a basis for generating interior environmental recommendations for planning a better quality of kindergartev.

Methods: The study was conducted using a nonequivalent control group with a pretest-posttest design. Four private daycare centers (2 centers per city) that were alike in terms of the number of children by age, number of child care teachers, and child care environment were chosen. Participants were assigned to the experimental group (n=20) or control group (n=20). As a part of the program, visiting education (90 min) was provided in the 1st week, and smartphone application education (10 min) was provided thrice a week, in the 2nd and 3rd weeks. Results: Child care teachers' self-efficacy for infection prevention revealed a significant interaction effect between the group and time of measurement (F=21.62, p<.001). In terms of infection prevention behavior, a significant difference was observed between the experimental and control groups (z=-5.36, p<.001). Conclusion: The program implemented in this study was effective in improving the infection prevention self-efficacy and infection prevention behavior of child care teachers. Thus, this program may be effective in enhancing their infection control.

  • In this paper, we propose a plan for prospective early childhood teachers to plan, design, and produce and the results of operating a teaching model. To this end, we will identify video content for each age and video content of various topics and video playback time required by early childhood education sites, actively collect opinions from workers currently in early childhood education institutions, and suggest ways to develop on-site video content in the university curriculum. This requires prospective early childhood teachers to improve their self-understanding capabilities, community capabilities, and creative convergence capabilities, including digital capabilities. Through this, we intend to contribute to fostering smart early childhood teachers and creating a kindergarten activity and environment applying the latest video technology.
