  • 이라크 전에서도 알 수 있듯이, 현대전에서 항공력은 신속성과 정확성이라는 특성으로 매우 큰 파괴력을 지니고 군사작전의 필수요소이다. 그러므로 향상된 공군 전력은 평시에 전쟁을 억지하는 핵심 전력이 된다. 또한 항공산업은 국가의 중추 미래산업으로서 그 중요성이 날로 증대하고 있다. 따라서 제한된 항공 자원을 국가 이익에 최대한으로 부합시키기 위해서 민간항공 정책 부서인 건교부와 국가 안보를 책임지는 국방부와의 유기적이고 상시적인 협력체계가 필요하다. 이는 평시에 국가 방위를 저해하지 않는 범위 내에서 민간항공 산업을 증진시킬 수 있는 방안을 모색 할 수 있고, 또한 유사시에 국가 항공 자원이 효과적으로 국가 방위 임무에 부합하도록 전활 될 수 있는 체계를 구축할 수 있다. 분단된 좁은 국토에서 북한과 대치하고 있는 우리로서 항공산업의 진흥을 통한 국가 경쟁력 강화와 군 작전의 효율성 보장 및 전력 강화라는 두가지 과제를 갈등과 상충이 아닌 조화와 태협을 통해 성취할 수 있는방안을 모색해야 한다.

  • 본 논문은 최근에 널리 사용되는 다중코어 컴퓨팅 환경에서 병렬 다중프론트 해법의 스케쥴링 및 부하조절 기법에 대해 논의한다. 통상적으로 구조해석 문제들은 불규칙한 격자계와 혼재된 물성 때문에 병렬화 알고리즘 구현 시 병목현상을 일으키고 불필요한 유휴시간을 초래한다. 따라서 이를 극복하며 효율성을 향상시키기 위해 다중쓰레드 기반 환경에 걸맞는 작업 스케쥴링 및 부하 분산 기법의 적용이 필수적이다. 본 논문에서 제시된 정적, 동적 스케줄링 기법과 정적 전 임무 분산, 최소최대 임무 결합 등의 부하 분산 기법들에 대한 이론적, 실제 결과를 제시함으로서 그 유용성을 논의하고자 한다.

  • 본 논문에서는 CBBA 알고리듬을 이용하여 SEAD 임무를 위한 이종무인기의 분산형 임무할당 알고리듬을 다룬다. SEAD 임무는 다수의 무인기를 다수의 대공 방어망 목표물에 할당 시키는 임무할당문제로 정의 할 수 있으며, 작전에 참여하는 무인기는 대공 방어망 파괴를 주목표 하는 위즐(weasel)과 주요 작전 및 전투 피해 평가를 수행하는 스트라이커(striker)로 구성된다. 본 논문에서는 최단경로생성 알고리듬과 CBBA 알고리듬을 이용하여 지형 장애물(terrain obstacle)이 있는 환경에서의 경로계획이 고려 된 이종 무인기의 분산형 임무할당 기법을 개발하고 SEAD 임무에 적용한다. 수치 시뮬레이션을 통하여 개발 된 기법의 성능과 적용가능성에 대해 검토한다.

심상그리기가 좌편 무시현상에 미치는 영향: 사례연구 (The Effects of a Mental Image Drawing on Left Neglect: a Case Study)

  • This study investigated to the effects of a mental image drawing in RHD patients with left neglect. Three subjects participated in this study. All subjects were right handed and native speaker of korean. In task 1, the patients were presented with visual stimulus card directly above the response sheet and were asked to draw the picture. In task 2, they were presented with items auditorily and asked to draw the picture(mental image drawing). In all experimental conditions, there was no response time limit. The results showed that the subjects showed left neglect leaving some space on the left side in task 1. And the picture was drawn the left side from the right in direction. However, the neglect disappeared in task 2. And the picture was drawn the right side from the left in direction. The results of the present study suggested that a mental image drawing technique can be effective in treating individuals who exhibit left neglect. Also, the picture direction showed that the korean normality was same.

  • Nowadays, there are many situations which the conventional control system can't be applied any more (e.g. nuclear waste disposal sites, radioactive laboratories, the deep ocean and the vacuum of the outer space). New control system must be considered such as supervisory control system in those environment. Using computer graphic robot simulation, supervisory control which can cope with this situation is compared to manual control. As a performance measure of these comparisons, task time and task error are used. And task difficulties and time delay are considered as a variation factor. According to the result of this study, supervisory control is superior to manual control generally. Especially in the situation including task difficulties and time delay, the superiority is much greater.

  • More than twenty HRA (Human Reliability Analysis) methodologies have been developed and used for the safety analysis in nuclear field during the past two decades. However, no methodology appears to have universally been accepted, as various limitations have been raised for more widely used ones. One of the most important limitations of conventional HRA is insufficient analysis of the task structure and problem space. To resolve this problem, we suggest a framework of informational analysis for HRA. The proposed informational analysis consists of three parts. The first part is the scenario analysis that investigates the contextual information related to the given task on the basis of selected scenarios. The second is the goals-means analysis to define the relations between the cognitive goal and task steps. The third is the cognitive function analysis that identifies the cognitive patterns and information flows involved in the task. Through the three-part analysis. systematic investigation is made possible from the macroscopic information on the tasks to the microscopic information on the specific cognitive processes. It is expected that analysts can attain a structured set of information that helps to predict the types and possibility of human error in the given task.

Ontology-based Safety Risk Interactions Analysis for Supporting Pre-task Planning

  • The construction industry remains serious accidents, injuries, and fatalities due to it's unique, dynamic, and temporary nature. On workplace sites, Safety pre-task planning is one of the efforts to minimize injuries and help construction personnel to identify potential hazards. However, the working conditions are complicated. Many activities, including tasks or job steps, are executing at the same time and place. It may lead to an increase in the risks from simultaneous tasks. This paper contributes to addressing this issue by introducing a safety risk interaction analyzing framework. To accomplish this objective, accident reports of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) are investigated. The pairs of task incompatibility, which have time-space conflicts and lead to incidents, are found. Ontology technology is applied to build the risk database, in which the information is acquired, structuralized. The proposed system is expected to improve pre-task planning efficiency and relieve the burdens encountered by safety managers. A user scenario is also discussed to demonstrate how the ontology supports pre-task planning in practice.

  • We present a multi-dimensional reduction method of the surveyed cube database obtained using a single- dish radio telescope in Taeduk Radio Astronomy Observatory (TRAO). The multibeam receiver system installed at the 14 m telescope in TRAO was not optimized at the initial stage, though it became more stabilized in the following season. We conducted a Galactic Plane survey using the multibeam receiver system. We show that the noise level of the first part of the survey was higher than expected, and a special reduction process seemed to be definitely required. Along with a brief review of classical methods, a multi-dimensional method of reduction is introduced; It is found that the 'background' task within IRAF (Image Reduction and Analysis Facility) can be applied to all three directions of the cube database. Various statistics of reduction results is tested using several IRAF tasks. The rms value of raw survey data is 0.241 K, and after primitive baseline subtraction and elimination of bad channel sections, the rms value turned out to be 0.210 K. After the one-dimensional reduction using 'background' task, the rms value is estimated to be 0.176 K. The average rms of the final reduced image is 0.137 K. Thus, the image quality is found to be improved about 43% using the new reduction method.

  • John Glenn, America's first man to eat anything in the near-weightless environment of Earth orbit, found the task of eating fairly easy. With improved packaging came improved food quality and menus. By the time of the Apollo Program, the quality and variety of food increased even further. Apollo astronauts were the first to have hot water, which made rehydrating foods easier and improved the food's taste. Thermostabilized pouches were also introduced on Apollo. The task of eating in space got a big boost in Skylab. It also had a food freezer and refrigerator a convenience offered by no other vehicle before or since. Two different food systems will be used for future long-duration missions to other planets, one for traveling to and from the distant body and one for use on the surface of the moon or Mars. The transit food system will be similar to the space station food system with the exception that products with three-to five-year shelf lives will be needed. Thus, this part of the trip will be similar to what occurs aboard space missions now. The surface food system, be it lunar or planetary, will be quite different. It will be similar to a vegetarian diet that someone could cook on Earth. Once crew members arrive on the surface and establish living quarters, they can start growing crops. Once the crops are processed into edible ingredients, cooking will be done in the spacecraft's galley to make the food items. Disposal of used food packaging will be an issue since there will be no Progress vehicles to send off and incinerate into the Earth's atmosphere. Packaging materials will be used that have less mass but sufficient barrier properties for oxygen and water to maintain shelf life as those now in use.

  • Collision free task planning for dual-arm robot which perform many subtasks in a common work space can be achieved in two steps : path planning and trajectory planning. path planning finds the order of tasks for each robot to minimize path lengths as well as to avoid collision with static obstacles. A trajectory planning strategy is to let each robot move along its path as fast as possible and delay one robot at its initial position or reduce speed at the middle of its path to avoid collision with the other robot.
