1. The causes of Tong Bi(痛痺) are divided into external cause(wind, cold, dampness) and internal cause(deficiency yang-excess yin, excess cold). but mostly two causes are combined. 2. Chronic Tong Bi can be turn into bone, kidney, zang organs disease and Hak Sul Pung(鶴膝風). 3. The symptoms are severe arthralgia, limit of ROM, localized coldness and edema, white coated tonge fur, wiry and knotted pulse. 4. The principles of medicinal treatment are mainly eliminating the cold and inducing the wind, removing the dampness. 5. The principle of acupucture and moxibustion treatment is mainly eliminating the cold(iron skin treatment, moxibustion, warming acupucture).

Sintongchugoetang(CTCOT) is one of the importent prescription that has been used in oriental medicine(yyilimgaechak) for helling fractured condition. The study was done to evaluate effects of CTCOTwater extract on the tibia fractured rats. The result were obtained as follows : 1. In the change of X-ray, experimental group was significantly effected than control. 2. In the changes of body weight, experimental group was decreased than control. 3. In the change of Ca, P and ALP(alkaline phosphatase) on serum, all experimental group was not significant. 4. In the change of bone tissue, experimental group was was significantly effected than control in callus formation and maturity. From above results, CTCOT was had significant effects on the helling of fractured in rats, so it is expected to clinical application.

The study was done to evaluate effects of GMGGT and GMGGTN water extract on the tibia fractured rats. The result were obtained as follows : 1. A computational system for wave and viscous flow analysis (WAVIS) has been developed. The system includes a pre-processor, flow solvers and a post-processor. The pre-processor is composed of full form presentation, surface mesh and field grid generation. The flow solvers are for potential and viscous flow calculation. The post-processor has graphic utility for result analysis. All the programs are integrated in a GUI-launcher package. To validate the developed CFD programs of WAVIS, the calculated results for modern commercial hull forms are compared with measurements. It is found that the results from WAVIS are in good agreement with the experimental data, illustrating the accuracy of the numerical methods employed for WAVIS.

본 연구는 전방점화 방식(the head-end ignition)을 채택하고 있는 composite 고체 추진기관(구룡 1모타)을 이용하여 후방점화 방식(the after-end ignition)에 의한 점화 가능성을 검토하였으며, 점화 방식 차이에 따른 추진기관의 초기 연소거동의 차이점을 고찰하고자 한 실험 연구로서, 후방 점화장치를 설계·제작하여 지상연소시험을 수행하였다. 점화장치는 착화장치(initiation system)와 에너지 방출장치(energy release system), 구조물(Hardware)로 구성되는데, 착화장치는 기존의 K2 squib를 사용하였고, 에너지 방출장치는 FRP튜브에 MTV pellet 점화제를 사용하였으며, 점화기를 후방에 부착시키는 방법으로는 flexible finger 형태의 locking sleeve를 설계하여 노즐목에 고정하였다.

Objectives: We want to understand body composition and states of obese patients and the clinical studies of obesity attribute to Dept. of Oriental Rehabilitation Medicine. Methods : The clinical studies were done on 42 cases of obese patients who were treated by obesity clinic in Dept. of Oriental Rehabilitation Medicine Dae-Jeon Oriental medical hospital in Dae-Jeon University from May 2000 to September 2000. We checked body composition using Inbody3.0. Results : Sexual ratio on this report is 1:4.98(male: female). Abnormal eating is Major cause of obesity that has caused orthopedic disease. Increasing of BMI, fluid, protein and mineral mass decrease.

The characterization of zinc diffusion processes applied for high-speed avalanche photodiodes has been examined. The different diffusion process conditions for InP test structures were explored. The zinc diffusion profiles, such as the diffusion depth and the zinc dopant concentration, were examined using secondary ion mass spectrometry with varying the process variables and material parameters. It is observed that the diffusion profiles are severly impacted on the process parameters, such as the amount of Zn$_3$P$_2$ source and the diffusion time, as well as material parameters, such as doping concentration of diffusion layer. These results can be utilized for the high-speed avalanche photodiode fabrication.

The forthcoming century will be the "era of cyber society" . In a virtual environment, a cyber character plays the role of an agent for the human being. In this paper, we introduce active researches of industries, universities, and research institutes in Korea. After Adam Soft Inc. presented a cyber singer,“Adam”, a few cyber characters have succeeded commercially through Internet, TV, CF, movies and etc. Some universities had their own characters to make fundamental researches in the fields of modeling, motion control, and VR. Research institutes have been funded recently to a cyber character related researches. This paper briefly reviews the recent research works, and future trends in Korea. in Korea.

The hypogeous ascomycete, Tuber aestivum subsp. uncinatum was isolated and identified for the first time in Korea from Quercus forest soil in Kyeryong-san National Park in August, 1992. The fungus is reported here with Korean name and English description. The specimen cited is deposited in herbarium of Department of Microbiology, Taejon University.

This study was undertaken to investigate college students' perception and preference of Korean traditional foods during November in 1994. 493 students in Taejon area were asked to fill out the questionaires. The collected data were analyzed by SAS package. The average height and weight were 173.04 cm, 64.46 kg for male and 161.73 cm, 49.33 kg for female. Students living their own home were 48.8% and self-lodging students were 30.2%. Male have a meal for hunger and female for pleasure (p<0.002). They choose their foods based on the taste (84.6%) and nutrition (8.2%). 85.5% of students prefer Korean traditional foods. Most students think that the Korean traditional foods should be succeeded and developed. However, they want the taste of Korean traditional foods to be changed for their preference. Kimch'i is the most favorate fermented foods. The fermented fish products and jang-atchi are the most unfavorate ones. They don't like too salty taste and strong smell of the Korean fermented foods.
