Rate Enhancement by Micelle Encapsulation for Oxidation of L-Glutamic Acid in Aqueous Media at Room Temperature

  • Oxidation of glutamic acid is performed in aqueous acid media at $30^{\circ}C$ under the kinetic condition [glutamic acid]$_T{\gg}[Cr(VI)]_T$. Effect of combination of micellar catalyst (SDS, TX-100) and promoter (PA, bpy, phen) has been studied. Among the promoters phen accelerates the reaction most in aqueous media. But the rate acceleration is small in the case. Combination of promoter and catalyst produces much better result. Maximum rate enhancement occurs in presence of the combination of bpy and SDS.

  • For the development of UFS device test system, M-PHY specifications should be matched with MIPI-standard which is analog signal protocol. In this paper, the implementation methodology and hardware structure for the M-PHY AFE (Analog Front End) Block was suggested that it can be implemented using universal components without ASIC process. The testing procedure has a jitter problem so to solve the problems we using ASIC process, normally but the ASIC process needs a lot of developing cost making the UFS device test system. In is paper, the suggestion was verified by the output signal which was compared to the MIPI-standard on the Prototype-board using universal components. The board was reduced the jitter on the condition of HS-TX and 5.824 Gbps Mode in SerDes (Serialize-deserializer). Finally, the suggestion and developed AFE block have a useful better than ASIC process on developing costs of the industrial UFS device test system.

  • It is very important to evaluate the reliable deformational characteristics of soils not only in the analysis of geotechnical structures under working stress conditions as foundation in railroad or road system but also for the soil dynamic problems. Different testing techniques are likely to have different testing conditions as strain amplitude, stress level, loading frequency and number of loading cycles. The deformational characteristics of soils can be affected by these variables. In this paper, the effects on modulus of soils subjected to cyclic load were investigated. For the evaluation of deformational characteristics of soils subjected cyclic load, various testing such as TS, RC, TX, and FFRC tests were performed. It was shown that the modulus evaluated by various testing methods are comparable to each other fairly well when the effects of these factors were properly taken into account. For reliable evaluation, therefore, those effects on the modulus need to be considered, and measured values should be effectively adjusted to actual conditions where the soil is working.

  • High temperature deformation behavior of Al85Ni10Y5 alloy extrudates fabricated with amorphous ribbons was investigated at temperature range form 300 to 550$^{\circ}C$ by torsion tests. Thermal properties of amorphous ribbons as a function of aging temperature was studied by Differential Scanning Calorimetry(DSC). The Al phase crystallite firstly formed in the amorphous ribbons and its crystallization temperature(Tx) was ∼210$^{\circ}C$. During the processings of consolidation and extrusion, nano-grained structure was formed in the Al85Ni10Y5 alloy extrudates. The as-extrudated Al85Ni10Y5 alloy and the Al85Ni10Y5 alloy annealed at 250$^{\circ}C$ for 1 hour showed the flow curve of DRV(dynamic recovery) during hot deformation at 400-550$^{\circ}C$. On the other hand, the Al85Ni10Y5 alloy annealed at 400$^{\circ}C$ for 1 hour showed the flow curve of DRX(dynamic recrystallization) during hot deformation at 450-500$^{\circ}C$.

  • A system, IS-95C coupler that combines the signals of IS-95A/B and IS-95C BTS and compensates the differences between the signals of two systems and connected to optical repeater If no IS-95C coupler exist, Optical repeater can't service of signal balanced. A system carries on combination, amplification, level modulation function of the TX signals(IS-95A/B & IS-95C) and division and level modulation function of the RX signals. Isolation satisfied above 100dB.

  • It is well known that the antenna for wireless Tx/Rx isolation detector should have the broadband characteristics. Such antennas can be applied in all the frequency ranges such as Cellular, PCS, IMT-2000. In this paper, using the Finite-Difference Time-Domain(FDTD) method, one design example is given for the antenna operating in the frequency ranges of $800MHz{\sim}900 MHz$, $1.7GHz{\sim}2.2GHz$.

  • In this letter, a novel compact duplexer which consists of Tx and Rx Filter using microstrip line ${\lambda}/4$ resonators with a pair of tap-connected open-ended stepped impedance stubs is designed. The tapped open stubs not only work as K-inverters but also introduce attenuation poles, attenuation poles are located at upper and lower side of the passband by adjusting the open stub length and width. The result of measurement duplexer has been yielded better isolation and sharper skirt behavior than that with a conventional bandpass filter and similar to those of simulation results.

  • A fully differential transconductor using the series composite transistor is proposed. Simulation results show that THD is less than 1.2% for the differential input signal of up to $1.5V_{p-p}$ when the input signal frequency is 10MHz. i he proposed transconductor is used to design a third-order elliptic Gm-C lowpass filter with 138kHz cutoff frequency for ADSL Tx filter. The design procedure is based on signal flow graph(SFG) of a doubly-terminated LC ladder filter by means of fully differential transconductors and capacitors. The filter is fabricated and measured with a $0.35{\mu}m$ CMOS process.

  • Let X be a real reflexive Banach space with a uniformly $G\hat{a}teaux$ differentiable norm, C a nonempty closed convex subset of X, T : C $\rightarrow$ X a continuous pseudocontractive mapping, and A : C $\rightarrow$ C a continuous strongly pseudocontractive mapping. We show the existence of a path ${x_t}$ satisfying $x_t=tAx_t+(1- t)Tx_t$, t $\in$ (0,1) and prove that ${x_t}$ converges strongly to a fixed point of T, which solves the variational inequality involving the mapping A. As an application, we give strong convergence of the path ${x_t}$ defined by $x_t=tAx_t+(1-t)(2I-T)x_t$ to a fixed point of firmly pseudocontractive mapping T.
