  • There have been several research methodologies to measure the impacts of tourism development on the regional economy, which include input-output analysis, income multiplier analysis, labor creation effect analysis, etc. Most of these are based on regional economic indices using secondary data for medium to large regional units. This study tests the possibility of adopting tourist money now analysis, which encompasses a series of money flows beginning with tourists'payment for room, board and shopping, followed by tourist companies'expenditure for material and service purchase, wage, utilities, rent, tax and so forth, and by tourism workers'expenses for living and savings. This method makes it possible to reveal the amount and geographical extent of tourist money flow and draws some meaningful regional economic figures. Case studies of three torist developing areas show that it is utilized for impact studies for small scale areas.

  • This study is to analyse spatial impacts of tourism on fishing villages in Jeju island. The analysis shows that the location of tourist function - sea or land - has an influence on spatial use of pre-tourist and tourist function. The locational changes of tourist function are to be the indicator of the developmental stages, the uses of 'where' to be the phases, the uses of 'where' and 'what' to be the process in the spatial impacts of tourism on fishing villages. The phases are 'time combination $\longrightarrow$spatial combination $\longrightarrow$time combination', the process is 'widened range.diversification $\longrightarrow$ range.specialization' according as the tourist function of the sea changes into the land. This is to be risk management of the tourist function.

  • Today the number or Chinese tourist visiting Korea is expected by 60% more than the number of them in the last year trunks to Chinese government's new policy on opening international trip. Overriding the striking perception of the new Chinese tourism market, the pre-research on this matter is not remarkable so far. It is expected that the theoretical base on the subject should be concrete. the purpose of the article is to provide the out-and-out information including the chinese market, the change of circumstance in China. Futhermore the study is proposed to offer valuable factor evaluating Chinese tourist to choose Korean restaurant and the relational consideration of the menu between estimation and satisfaction at the restaurant during their stay in Korea. In order to achieve the purpose of this paper, it is gore ahead of the literature review including the previous research on the menu of Hotel & Restaurant The major field research is to build a frame of the paper and present the model to release my humble theory. The 1imitation of the study was to make much of the literature basis due to insufficient previous research on the issue, The study would be framed into 6parts 1ike introduction, literature review, analysis of present coalition in China, major study including exploitative research, suggestion and dissuasions & conclusion. After the exploitative research, the study was approached to make findings through the questionnaires designed to find the relationship factor between chinese tourist's evaluation and satisfaction in the Hotel and Restaurant. According to the finding, chinese tourist tend to prefer the group ranging resonable-price and Japanese dishes to other group. They also interested the certain recipe including fish and vegetable. • The tourism sites and attractions of South Korea in many ways have little specialties in their image due to the local development plan's uniformed way of designing and improving landscape. The lack of specialties in tourist sites and attractions have caused displeasure from the local residents, as the sites don't characterize the locals as attractively and appealingly as is the potential. There have been no research or studies on the scenic effect on tourism or resort development thus producing an urgent call for local authorities to develop planned landscapes of local sites. This study compares Bugok Onchon (hot spring), whose image hardly differentiates itself from the others, with Kinosaki Onsen (hot spring). Bugok Hot Spring, which is the case study of this report, has recorded a steady decline of visitors due to a result of uniformed development planning. In the case of Kinosaki Hot Spring, scenery development, however, has made a breakthrough in tourist increase despite its no-so-easily-accessible location. The study assumes that scenery effects changes in promoting local tourism, thus analyzing and comparing the two hot springs to unearth critical factors in tourist site development, as well as viewing the present state of Bugok Hot Spring for further study. Furthermore, the study provides tourist site developers with a guideline of the two comparative Hot Spring cases. Investigations and analyses are mainly focused on colors, which are important factors in making underlying images of tourist sites, and the comparison of Bugok Hot Spring with Kinosaki Hot Suing. Bugok Hot Spring shows the influences of accent colors as well as a variety of color combinations and similarities of color tones. Kinosaki Hot Spring shows a combination of naturally-generated colors its own scenic beauty by trimming the landscape. Through the comparative study of the two hot springs, Bugok (boulevard) uncovers a typical case of Korean local landscape planning, even with the well-known tourist attraction 'Bugok-Hawaii', and calls upon a new, serious landscape-improvement plan to increase visitors.

  • Data mining is the task of accessing useful information from a large capacity of data. It can also be referred to as searching for correlations that can provide clues about the future in large data warehouses by using computer algorithms. It has been used in the tourism field for marketing, analysis, and business improvement purposes. This study aims to analyze the tourist profile in Turkey through data mining methods. The reason relies behind the selection of Turkey is the fact that Turkey welcomes millions of tourist every year which can be a role model for other touristic countries. In this study, an anonymous and large-scale data set was used under the law on the protection of personal data. The dataset was taken from a leading tourism company that is still active in Turkey. By using the k-means clustering algorithm on this data, key parameters of profiles were obtained and people were clustered into groups according to their characteristics. According to the outcomes, distinguishing characteristics are gathered under three main titles. These are the age of the tourists, the frequency of their vacations and the period between the reservation and the vacation itself. The results obtained show that the frequency of tourist vacations, the time between bookings and vacations, and age are the most important and characteristic parameters for a tourist's profile. Finally, planning future investments, events and campaign packages can make tourism companies more competitive and improve quality of service. For both businesses and tourists, it is advantageous to prepare individual events and offers for the three major groups of tourists.

  • A tourist destination ranking system was designed that employs a semantic search to extract information with reasonable accuracy. To this end the process involves collecting data, preprocessing text reviews of tourist spots, and embedding the corpus and queries with SBERT. We calculate the similarity between data points, filter out those below a specified threshold, and then rank the remaining tourist destinations using a count-based algorithm to align them semantically with the query. To assess the efficacy of the ranking algorithm experiments were conducted with four queries. Furthermore, 58,175 sentences were directly labeled to ascertain their semantic relevance to the third query, 'crowdedness'. Notably, human-labeled data for crowdedness showed similar results. Despite challenges including optimizing thresholds and imbalanced data, this study shows that a semantic search is a powerful method for understanding user intent and recommending tourist destinations with less time and costs.

  • Media like TV programs and movies has deeply rooted in the public and it can supply affluent informations on special tourist attractions during short time relatively. Media can make the image of special objects and destinations recreated and viewers induced to the special places. Because of these positive effects, many countries and self governing bodies having tried place marketing through media have done their best to raise the image of their tourist attractions and induce a visit. So, most of studies about the effect relations between media and tourist attractions have been done about the confirmation of the impact relation between media and the image raising of tourist attractions and between media and the tourists's visit inducement. This study reconfirms the results of the existing studies and confirms whether the difference of media program genre causes that of the impact relation between media and the image raising of tourist attractions and between media and the tourists's visit inducement. In order to confirm these purposes, 3 assumptions are established and are proved through statistical analyses based on a questionnaire. According to the results of these analyses, all of 3 established assumptions : assumption 1, the impact relation between media program genres and the image of tourist attraction, assumption 2, the impact relation between the image of tourist attractions and behavior intention, and assumption 3, the impact relation between media program genres and behavior intention, are partly accepted.
