Modern wind turbines have been mainly erected in region where earthquake are rare or normally weak, especially Korea was thought as safety zone from earthquake. But recently, the earthquake occurs more and more frequently. So, the wind turbine design is required the structural and functional stability under the earthquake. The earthquake can influence normal operation, even if a weak earthquake. There are two ways to review the design under earthquake using Computer Applied Engineering (CAE). One is the Response Spectrum Analysis (RSA) the other is Time History Analysis (THA). In this research, dynamic response on time is obtained under the earthquake by taking into account ground accelerogram consistent with the relevant standards applied to the turbine foundation.

In this paper we have a concern on the Moore-Penrose inverse of two kinds of partitioned matrices of the form [V X] and [{{{{ {V atop {X} {{{{ {X atop { 0} }}] where V is symmetric. The Moore-Penrose inverse of the partitioned matrices can be reduced to be simpler forms according to some algebraic conditions. Firstly we investigate the representations of the Moore-Penrose inverses of the partitioned matrices under four al-gebraic conditions. Each condition reduces the Moore-Penrose inverses of the partitioned matrices under four al-gebraic conditions. Each condition reduces the Morre-Penrose inverse into some simpler form. Also equivalant conditions will be considered. Finally we will perform a simulation study to investigate which con-dition is the most important in the sense that which condition occurs the most frequently in the real situation. The simluation study will show us a particular condition occurs the most likely tha other conditions. This fact enables us to obtain the Morre-Penrose inverse with less computational efforts and computational storage.

In recent years, a.c servo motors have been gradually replacing d.c sevo motors in various high-performance demanded aplications such as machine tools and industrial robots. In particular, the high-performance slip-frequency control of an induction motor, which is often called the vector control, is considered one of the best a.c drive. In this paper, the transient state equation and vector control algrithms of an induction motor are described mathematically by using the two-axis theory(d-q coordinates). According to the result of these algorithms, we scheme the speed control system for an induction type ac servo motor in which vector control is adopted to give tha a.c motor high performance. Motor drive is a PWM inverter using power MOS-FET, and is controlled in order to let the actual input current of the motor track the current reference obtained from a microcomputer(8086 cpu). Driving experiments are performed in the range of 0 to 3000 rpm, and it is verified that high speed response is possible.

In this paper, we classify existing spatial indexing schemes for spatial objects in geographic database systems into seven classes. Also, we propose a new spatial indexing scheme called MAX(Multi-Attribute indeXing scheme). The search, insert, delete algorithms for the proposed indexmg scheme are described in detail. It is expected that the performance of the proposed indexing scheme is better than the existing indexing schemes under the some conditions. The proposed indexing scheme, MAX, can be easily implemented on existing built-in B-trees in most storage managers in the sense tha.t the structure of MAX is like that of B-tree.

The primordial germ cells (PGCs) were transfected in vitro and expressed the exogenous RSVLTR/${\beta}G2$ plasmid, suggesting thaI PGC is a possible vector for direct gene transfer into the germ line. Transfection efficiency of cell suspensions containing PGCs was 1.5% by liposome mediated DNA transfection. By microinjection of the transfected PGCs into the host germinal crescent, PGCs migrated via blood vessel to the future gonad and these transfected PGCs resulted in the RSVLTR/${\beta}G2$ expression in the gonad. The results from the seeding of PGCs on the chorioallantoic membrane were insufficient to test the hypothesis that PGCs can penetrate or invade the chorioallantoic membrane for transport via the circulatory system.

This research focused on the comparison of corporate business mokels to explain different financial performances on the eBusiness domain. Especially, because customers have the more buying [ower tha other business areas, customer value and the service quality were prepared for independent variables and operational margin which can be obtained by publicize report was used for a dependent variable in stead of the other variables dependent on human perception as well. As a result, this research found that the customer value measured by service quality concept impact on the financial performance of eBusiness corporation positively. To find out more delicate results, structural equation was used for statistical method using 324 survey samples on 10 corporations. Though data using for statistical analysis were divided into individual and corporate level and have the time gap between research time and financial performance publicized period, the value of this research is that the customer value and service quality concepts with very objective financial information were input for constructing a research model.

In this paper a new RSA public-key cryptosystem which expands conventional RSA pubilc-key cryptosystem is suggested. The number of multiplication times is increased by expanding the modulus parameters p, q which are the foundation of ciphering. As a result tha amount of calculation which required in cryptoanalysis is increased, and we could improve strength of RSA public-key cryptography through a proof based on integral number theory.

Flavor constituents of green tea flower produced in Korea were analyzed by gas chromatography and mass spectrometry. 56 compounds in sample were separated and indentified as 22 hydrocarbons, 14 alcohols, 6 aldehydes, 5 esters, and 9 others. Higher concentrated substances were heneicosyl formate, ${\alpha}$-phenyl ethyl alcohol, and acetophenone. Germacrene D as a sesquiterpene were also identified.

A family of some capability indices { $C_{p}$(.alpha.,.beta.); .alpha..geq.0, .beta..geq.0}, containing the indices $C_{p}$, $C_{{pk}}$, $C_{{pm}}$, and $C_{{pmk}}$, has been defined by Vannman(1993) for the case of two-sided specification interval. By varying the parameters of the family various capability indices with suitable properties are obtained. We derive tha asymptotic distribution of the family { $C_{p}$(.alpha.,.beta.); .alpha..geq.0,.beta..geq.0} under general proper conditions. It is also shown that the bootstrap approximation to the distribution of the estimator $C_{p}$(.alpha., .beta.) is vaild for almost all sample sequences. These asymptotic distributions would be used in constructing some bootstrap confidence intervals.tervals.
