Driverless train control system of Light rail transit for Rubber Tire (고무차륜 경량전철용 무인운전 시스템의 제어방법)

  • This paper proposes the Train Control System for the LRT(light rail transit). With regard to information processing in car, we build a computer network in the car, turned the hardware required for train control into software, and developed the Train Control Monitoring System(TCMS) and ATC. Drive Type of Train control system car can drive with Driverless mode basically, and this paper applied 10Mbps special communication type for car control, data analysis, The propulsion efforts and breaking effort can control the cars. It is used Vector Control in Propulsion control and proposed Operating pattern for Propulsion control thinking Operating data of Rubber Tire LRT.

  • The automatic/driverless operation which are great important techniques in metro railway are required to increase higher safety, greater reliability, and transport capacity. To satisfy such demands, we must have the system design and testing technique for the railway system operation. These techniques are related to the onboard train control and communication systems which include TCMS(Train Control and Monitoring System), ATO(Automatic Train Operation), ATC(Automatic Train Control), and TWC(Train to Wayside Communication). These sub-systems must be interfacing with not only each others but also the signal system on the ground. We tested the train control system on Test line that has been developed on the basis of the standardized type EMU for korea railway systems. This test line which is located in Sangju, have been constructed for testing 7 & 8 line of Seoul Metro railway.

  • ProfiBus provides real-time data communication among field devices in the EMU(Electrical Multiple Unit) and TCMS(Train Control Monitoring System). This paper presents an adapt to Train Communication Network for EMU using ProfiBus DP(Decentralized Periphery) method, which is the layer 2 DDLM (Direct Data Link Mapper) protocol of ProfiBus.

  • Jilin Province is one of the principal production bases of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) in China with its typical preponderance in TCM resources, research and development power, and industrialization capacity. The province has 2,790 species of TCM materials in total. Over 20% of the TCM materials in common use are from Jilin Province. The province has established 36 good agricultural practice bases for 22 typical TCMs. The overall situation, in terms of collection, processing, and preparation, and the implementation of good agricultural practice of TCM materials in Jilin Province are summarized.

  • CBTC(Communication Based Train Control) System has many superior train control performances than conventional track-circuit-based train control system with higher train operation efficiency, and less installation and maintenance cost. It is expected that CBTC will replace the conventional train control systems in near future. As CBTC has different mechanisms from conventional track-circuit-based train control systems in identifying train positions, and communicating information between train and ground facility, we have to pay a carful attention to making the interface between CBTC equipments and other signalling devices. This paper provides the construction of the interface between CBTC train-born equipment and other train control equipments including ATO, TCMS, brake controller, door controller.

A Reduced Complexity Decoding Scheme for Trellis Coded Modulation

  • In this paper, we propose a technique used to simplify the trellis diagram, thus, reduce the complexity of Viterbi decoder in term of the number of Compare-Select (CS) operations needs in decoding process. It is shown that if the branch metrics are properly decomposed into orthogonal components. The trellis diagram can be modified that each original state with large number branches terminating to it can be broken into a number of sub-states having smaller number of branches terminating to them. Simulation results shown that the newly proposed technique can be used reduced the complexity of 8 and 16 PSK-TCMs without degrading the BER performance.

  • Conventional pragmatic TCMs need sector phase quantizer to apply Viterbi decoder which uses 3-bit soft decision. A symbol transformation applied to the incoming I-channel and Q-channel symbols allows to use Viterbi decoder without sector phase quantizer. We analyzed structure and performance of proposed decoder, and applied it to the turbo decoder. We know that the performance of proposed decoder is better than that of conventional decoder by 1 [㏈]because of increasing of Euclidean distance.

  • ARM CORE용 칩으로 철도 종합 제어 부분에 이용될 수 있는 main processor 부분을 설계하고, JTAG 기술을 이용하여 그 안정성과 틸팅 기술에 이용될 수 있는 process를 사전 단계에서 bebugging 해보고, 이에 따른 신호 및 성능을 JTAG(Boundary Scan)을 이용하여 시스템의 신호와 파형을 시험 평가한다. 또한 예비 단계로의 JTAG 검증 가능성 여부를 알아보고자 한다. 철도 종합 제어 시스템의 신호 및 정확성을 측정해 보기 위한 선행 연구라 할 수 있다.
