In order to strengthen the reinforced concrete T-beams having insufficient shear strength, several strengthening techniques are available in the literature. In this study, three different strengthening strategies were numerically studied. First one is affixing steel plates to the beam surfaces. Second one includes tightening external steel bars vertically similar to beam stirrups. The last one is simultaneous application of these two strengthening procedures which is particularly proposed in this work. Available experimental test series in the literature were handled in the study. Finite element (FE) models of reinforced concrete beam specimens having sufficient (Beam-1) and low shear capacity (Beam-2) were created within ABAQUS environment. Strengthened beams with different techniques were also modelled to reflect improved shear capacity. FE simulations made it possible to investigate parameters that were not examined during the previous experimental studies. The results of the analyses were then compared and found consistent with the experimentally obtained data. Experimental and FEM analysis results are in agreement between 1% (closest) and 6%. (maximum). Beam-2 was stregthened with 5 new porposed methods. The rate of increase in shear strength varies between 33% and 64%. It was found that, the strengthening techniques were fairly useful in improving the shear capacity of the considered girder. The model with the proposed strengthening alternative has accomplished a higher load carrying capacity, ductility and stiffness than all of the other models.
The purpose of this study was to examine the influence of make-up attitude and body-related value on clothing behavior. The subjects were 315 female college students in Gyeongsang provinces. The obtained data were analyzed by reliability analysis, factor analysis, cluster analysis, one-way ANOVA, Duncan's multiple range test, correlation analysis, multiple regression analysis and t-test. The major results of this study were as follows: First, four factors of make-up attitude were identified: pursuit of confidence, sociality, self-satisfaction, and positive image. Second, the subjects were categorized into three different types of groups according to make-up attitude and body-related value, respectively: high involvement type, low involvement type, and middle involvement type. Third, there was significant difference among three groups which were segmented by each make-up attitude and body-related value on clothing behaviors (sexual attractiveness, showing off, body-enhancement). Fourth, a significant positive correlation was found among four factors of make-up attitude and body operatability with clothing behaviors. Fifth, the important variables that affected the clothing behaviors were pursuit of confidence, self-satisfaction, and positive image of make-up attitude. Sixth, body-inclination significantly influenced sexual attractiveness of clothing behavior, whereas body-related value, unlike make-up attitude, only had marginal influence.

The purpose of this paper is an analysis of the difference between convergence majors and single majors in the convergence core competency and educational performance. We used survey data for the analysis of the convergence core competencies, the results of the midterm and final exams for the education performance. Analysis targets are 10 students in big data business intelligence at Seokyeong University as convergence majors and 11 students in business administration as single majors. The target course was an analysis of economic data provided in the second semester of 2019. And the lecture contents were analysis of big data using R programming. The survey was conducted on December 5, 2019. The convergence core competences were creative thinking, critical thinking, understanding convergence knowledge, problem solving ability, communication skills, cooperation ability, use of convergence tools, consideration, and responsibility. As results of homogeneity tests, we found that there was no significant difference in all competencies, but there were very significant differences in the educational performance evaluated by the midterm and final exams. Therefore we can see willingness to convergence of single majors was no different from that of convergence majors, but had not led to practice. It is desirable to activate and support convergence courses.
