전신성 건선 환자에 수기치료를 병행한 치험 1례 (A Clinical study of systemic psoriasis with Su-Gi therapy)

  • Objects : The purpose of this case study is to report the effect of Su-Gi therapy with Oriental medical treatments on systemic psoriasis. Methods : The subject is a patient with systemic psoriasis. This patient was treated with Oriental medical treatments and Su-Gi therapy. The improvement of the skin condition is observed by Psoriasis Area and Severity Index (PASI) score. Results : After the treatment, the symptoms of psoriasis were relieved. PASI score of this patient went down from 39.6 to 12.5. Conclusions : This study showed that Su-Gi therapy added with Oriental medical treatment can be an effective choice for systemic psoriasis.

  • Liver is the major organ to regulate the systemic glucose homeostasis and insulin resistance. Excess energy intake leads to triglyceride accumulation in adipose tissue first and subsequent accumulation in liver, resulting in obesity and type 2 diabetes. The representative pathological animal model for obesity associated insulin resistance is a high fat diet (HFD) fed mice model. Given the essential role of liver fat accumulation in developing systemic insulin resistance in obesity, I measured the liver triglyceride contents in HFD fed mice as a function of time. As such, in this report, I show the cause and effect relationship with regard to time during a HFD feeding between a variety of factors that are related to systemic insulin resistance including glucose intolerance, plasma insulin level and inflammatory gene expression in liver and adipose tissue.

아메리카잎굴파리 (Liriomyza trifolii)에 대한 살충활성과 방제효과 (Activity and control effects of insecticides to American serpentine leafminer, Liriomyza trifolii(Diptera: Agromyzidae))

  • 본 연구에서는 시판되고 있는 33종의 살충제에 대한 아메리카잎굴파리 (Liriomyza trifolii)의 발육단계별 약제감수성을 조사하고, 약제를 선발하여 침투이행성, 잔효성 및 방제효과를 평가하였다. 아메리카잎굴파리 알에 대해서는 spinosad가 70%의 살충률을 보인 것 외에 대부분의 약제들은 살충활성이 낮았다. 갓 부화한 유충에 대해서는 abamectin, cartap, emamectin benzoate, diflubenzuron + chlorpyrifos, milbemectin이 90%이상의 높은 살충활성을 보였다. 유충 ($2{\sim}3$령)에 대해서는 abamectin, cartap, cyromazine, emamectin benzoate, diflubenzuron +chlorpyrifos가 95% 이상의 살충활성을 나타내었다. 번데기에 대해서는 cartap + buprofezin이 98.6%의 놀은 살충활성을 나타내었고, 성충에 대해서는 모든 약제가 70% 이하의 살충활성을 나타내었다. 알에 대해서 emamectin benzoate와 milbemectin은 각각 53.3, 47.9%로 중간정도의 엽면침투이행성을 보였으며, 나머지 약제들은 낮았다. 유충과 성충에 대한 침투이행효과는 시험한 6약제 모두 30% 이하이었다. Abamectin, emamectin benzoate, milbemectin의 잔효성은 약제처리 후 10일째까지 각각 91.4, 90.4, 91.9%의 살충활성을 나타내었으며, 14일째에도 85%이상의 살충활성을 나타냈다. 방제효과 시험에서 abamectin, cyromazine, emamectin benzoate, milbemectin은 약제처리후 14일째까지 각각 96.0, 97.4, 94.5, 95.4%의 놀은 방제가를 나타냈다. Cartap과 cartap + buprofezin이 강남콩잎에 약해를 나타내었으나 그 외 약제들은 약해가 없었다. 이상의 결과에서 abamectin, emamectin benzoate, milbemectin은 아메리카잎굴파리의 방제에 이용될 수 있을 것으로 생각된다.

행인약침(杏仁藥鍼)이 항알레르기에 미치는 영향 (Study on the Anti-allergic Effect of Armeniacae Semen Herbal Acupuncture Solution)

  • Objectives : The purpose of this study was to examine the anti-allergic effect in vivo, and to observe single toxicity in mice of Armeniacae Semen herbal acupuncture solution (ASHA). Methods : We investigated anti DNP IgE-mediated passive cutaneous anaphylaxis in rodents and compound 48/80-induced active systemic anaphylatic shock in mice after treatment at both BL13 with ASHA of 25 ${\mu}{\ell}$(mice) or 50 ${\mu}{\ell}$(rats) 3 times for 5 days. To ascertain safety and toxicity of ASHA, we examined single toxicity test. In single test, three groups were treated with different dosages of ASHA (ASHA250, ASHA500 and ASHA1000) according to on Korean Food and Drug Administration, respectively. We observed attentively motality, abnormal clinical sign, body weight change, and organ weight of mice after ASHA treatment. Results : ASHA inhibited passive cutaneous anaphylaxis and active systemic anaphylatic shock by oral administration. During toxicity experiment period, there was no difference in body weight change, and organ weight among different dose groups. Death were not found in single test i.p. group. (ASHA250, ASHA500 and ASHA1000). Several individuals of single test i.p. group were observed yellow brown discharge around anus in early period after administration. Conclusions : These results indicate that ASHA have inhibition effects on passive cutaneous anaphylaxis and active systemic anaphylatic shock, and suggest that has some toxicity in high dosage.

삼백초약침액(三白草藥鍼液)이 아나필락시스에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Saururus chinensis (Lour.) Baill. Aquacupuncture on Anaphlylaxis in Mice)

  • Objective We investigated the effect of Saururus chinensis (Lour.) Baill. aquacupuncture (SCB) on anaphylaxis in mice. Methods : We conformed compound 48/80-induced mesenteric mast cell degranulation, active systemic anaphylatic shock and histamine release. Also observed acetic acid-induced vascular permeability and anti-dinitrophenyl (DNP) IgE-mediated passive cutaneous anaphylaxis. Results : SCB inhibited mesenteric mast cell degranulation and active systemic anaphylatic shock induced by compound 48/80 dose-dependently. When SCB was pretreated by intra-peritoneal injection, the serum histamine levels were reduced. SCB also significantly inhibited acetic acid-induced vascular permeability. In addition, SCB showed a significant inhibitory effect on anti-dinitrophenyl (DNP) IgE-mediated passive cutaneous anaphylaxis. Conclusion : These results indicated that SCB inhibits anaphylatic reaction.

루푸스 환자가 지각하는 불확실성과 피로가 극복력에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Uncertainty and Fatigue Perceived by Patients with Systemic Lupus Erythematosus on Resilience)

  • 본 연구는 루푸스 환자의 극복력에 영향을 미치는 요인을 파악하기 위해 수행되었다. 연구대상자(N=118)는 D시 소재의 E병원을 내원한 루푸스 환자를 대상으로 하였다. 수집된 자료는 기술통계, t-tset, ANOVA, pearson correlation, multiple regression으로 분석하였다. 연구결과, 극복력에 영향을 미치는 요인은 불확실성의 질병의 영향 영역, 피로, 불확실성의 자기관리 영역과 의사에 대한 신뢰영역 이었다. 본 연구를 토대로 루푸스 환자의 극복력을 향상시키기 위해서는 환자가 인지하는 불확실성을 줄이고 피로 조절을 위한 다각적인 접근이 필요하다. 또한 영향요인을 반영한 루푸스 환자의 극복력 증진을 위한 효과적인 간호중재 프로그램의 개발이 요구된다.

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study is to report the effect of Korean medicine treatments on a systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). Methods: We treated 1 case of systemic lupus erythematosus patient with Korean herbal medicine, acupuncture, moxibustion and pharmaco-acupuncture. Patient is a 44-year-old woman, who suffered from general body weakness, arthralgia and foamy urine. She was treated with Samilshinki-hwan-gami and Oryeong-san-gami. Patient is taken acupuncture at GV20, CV12, LI4, LR3, ST36, BL23, BL25 and moxibustion at CV4. We injected pharmaco-acupuncture at BL23, BL25. Results: After treatments the patient recovered from foamy urine, reduced general body weakness, arthralgia. Conclusions: This study suggests that Korean medicine treatments have significant effect on reducing symptoms of systemic lupus erythematosus.

전신성 홍반성 루푸스 환자의 우울이 복약순응도에 미치는 영향: 자기효능감과 약물에 대한 신념의 매개 효과를 중심으로 (Impact of Depression on Medication Adherence of Patients with Systemic Lupus Erythematosus: Focusing on Mediating Effect of Self-Efficacy and Belief about Medication)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to determine the mediating effects of self-efficacy and the belief about medication on the association between depression and medication adherence in patients with systemic lupus erythematosus. Methods: 128 patients aged ${\geq}19years$, who were regular outpatients or admitted patients diagnosed with systemic lupus erythematosus at a tertiary hospital in B city, participated in this study. Data were collected by using a self-administered questionnaire. Testing of mediating effects was analyzed by a parallel redundant mediated model using the PROCESS macro for SPSS version 3.3. Results: They scored an average of $16.71{\pm}11.13$ for depression, $694.14{\pm}170.68$ for self-efficacy, $3.05{\pm}4.60$ for the belief about medication, and $90.14{\pm}15.37$ for medication adherence. The direct effect of depression on medication adherence was not statistically significant, but the indirect effects of depression mediated with self-efficacy and belief about medication were statistically significant. Conclusion: It is necessary to develop and apply a nursing intervention program that can not only relieve depression but also promote self-efficacy and the belief about medication with the objective of improving medication adherence among patients with systemic lupus erythematosus.

꽃매미(Lycorma delicatula) 약충과 성충에 대한 약제방제 효과 (Chemical Control Effect Against Spot Clothing Wax Cicada, Lycorma delicatula (Hemiptera: Fulgoridae) Nymphs and Adults)

  • 본 연구는 꽃매미(Lycorma delicatula)의 방제약제 선발을 목적으로 시판되고 있는 5종 살충제에 대한 침투이행성, 잔효성 및 방제효과를 평가하였다. 꽃매미 3령약충과 성충에 대해서 chlorpyrifos, etofienprox+diazinon, etofenprox, dinotefuran, imidacloprid 모두 100% 살충활성을 보였다. 5종 약제의 배수, 반수, 추천농도에 대한 실험결과 뿌리의 침투이행성 실험은 dinotefuran, etofenprox+diazinon의 반수농도에서 각각 82.2%와 84.4%의 성충 치사율을 보였으며, chlorpyrifos는 추천농도에서 86.0% 치사율을 나타냈다. 엽면적 침투이행은 반수농도와 추천농도에서 dinotefuran을 제외하고 치사율이 모두 65%이하로 낮았으나, 배수농도에서는 ch1orpyrifos, dinotefuran, etofenprox에서 82% 이상의 치사율을 보였다. 약제 간 잔효성 비교는 dinotefuran, etofenprox+diazinon의 배수와 추천농도에서 14일 동안 100%의 살충효과를 보였으며 나머지 약제는 효과가 낮았다. 노지 포도원에서 실시한 방제실험 결과 약충은 14일까지 4약제 모두 87%의 방제가를 보였고, 성충은 dinotefuran, etofenprox+diazinon에서 96%이상 치사율을 보인 반면, 나머지 약제는 각각 59.1%와 61.2%로 낮았다. 따라서, 뿌리와 잎에 침투이행이 높고 잔효성이 우수한 dinotefuran, etofenprox+diazinon이 야외 포장에서의 방제효과도 높았다.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of mucosal vaccine delivery vehicles and adjuvants on the local and systemic antibody responses following mucosal immunization of mice with hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg). Mice were immunized on days 0 and 21 by administration of hepatitis B surface antigen B (HBsAg) into the vagina. HBsAg was delivered in saline or poloxamer(Pol)-based vehicle containing mucoadhesive polycarbophil (PC). (omitted)
