In this paper we describe the maximum energy transfer of CSA(Capacitive Switching Antenna). CSA which is radiated antenna system contain energy storage and switch, antenna needs to high voltage source for electrical field radiation experiment. In this experiment we employed Marx generator as a charging source. CSA can radiate electrical field more efficiently by varying antenna capacitance. The electromagnetic generation system which was using CSA has some advantages which are more simple and more effective compared to exist system. We evaluated the performance of electromagnetic wave generating system using CSA. As a result UWB gain of system is 0.47, It is higher level than exist system is 0.3. Radiated electrical field strength at 1m is 70kV/m. It is measured by D-dot sensor and gap distance is 20mm. Center frequency of CSA is approximately 25MHz. When vary the antenna gap distance from 50mm to 20mm, we can find the radiation field strength is decrease and antenna center frequency is increased. We also simulated the energy transfer efficiency to compare with experiment result. Consequentially, CSA needs to appropriate capacitance which is similar value from marx generator for maximum energy transfer, and gap is less than 1mm to increase the CSA capacitance.
In this paper, we analyze experimental results by applying the PHILS model to a lab-scale superconducting current limiter system for its actual application in medium-voltage direct current (MVDC) systems. Superconducting current limiters exhibit effective current-limiting performance in circuit breaker operations, particularly in limiting large fault currents within a short period, addressing the challenges posed by the increasing use of renewable energy and the integration of DC medium-voltage distribution systems. The development of such superconducting current limiters faces various technical and cost disadvantages, especially when applying a medium-voltage 35kV level system, which is intended for future introduction. The proven lab-scale superconducting current limiter system and the PHILS model are combined and integrated into the actual system. Our plan involves analyzing the limiter's performance, assessing its impact on the system, and preparing for its application in future medium-voltage systems. Utilizing RTDS, a simulation was conducted by connecting actual scaled-down equipment and systems, with the analysis results presented.

Recently, Live-Virtual-Constructive (L-V-C) integrate training system has proposed as a solution for the problems such as limitation of training areas, increase of mission complexity, rise in oil prices. In order to integrate each training system into the one effectively, we should solve the issue about stress of pilots by the environmental differences between Live and Virtual simulation which could be occurred when each system is connected together. Although it was already examined in previous study that the psychological effects on pilots was occurred by the environmental differences between actual and simulated flights, the study did not include what the causal factors affecting psychological effects are. The aim of this study is to examine which environmental factors that cause pilots' psychological effects. This study analyzed the biochemical stress hormone, cortisol to measure the pilots' psychological effects and cortisol was measured using Enzyme-linked immunoassay (EIA). A total of 40 pilots participated in the experiment to compare the differences in pilots' cortisol response among live simulation, virtual simulation, and the virtual simulation applying three environmental factors (gravity force, noise, and equipment) respectively. As a result, there were significant differences in cortisol level when applied the gravity force and equipment factors to the virtual simulation, while there was no significant difference in the case of the noise factor. The results from this study can be used as a basis for the future research on how to make L-V system by providing minimum linkage errors and design the virtual simulator that can reduce the differences in the pilots' psychological effects.
By adopting the MAC(Media Access Control) protocol which enables to pack multiple MPDUs(MAC-level Protocol Data Units) into a single PPDU(Physical Layer Protocol Data Unit), IEEE 802.11n WLAN supports high throughput. Up to now, there have been a lot of existing channel information-based A-MPDU schemes dynamically determining the number of MSDUs according to the wireless channel condition information which is sent from the receiver to sender. However, the channel information-based scheme has a serious drawback having a high system overhead due to the frequent channel feedback information. To reduce the system overhead, the proposed BA-base dynamic A-MPDU scheme simply chooses the number of MSDUs to be retransmitted by not the frequent channel feedback information but the BA signal representing whether MPSUs belonging to the A-MPDU are received or not. Through NS-2(Network Simulator-2), we found that the proposed scheme had higher throughput and lower packet error rate than the existing fixed A-MPDU scheme.

The simulators for pump operation developed by domestic or overseas research have been developed for dynamic analysis or operator training purposes. However, previous developed simulators focused on the operators so they are unsuitable for logic designers or commissioning engineers who need to change the operation conditions or logics arbitrarily. In addition, the simulator for two or more condensate pumps' operation, which can be used easily by plant designers or operators, has not been developed. Accordingly, this paper suggests a simulation method that can be used easily for plant designers or operators using MATLAB Simulink. This suggestion helps users who can use MATLAB to implement ANSI/ISA S5.2, which is applied mainly for DCS (Distributed Control System). In addition, to implement the logics specified in the CODE, Sub-Systems were created for the block and evaluated to determine if they can be used in the simulator. In the working level stage using the suggested method, all error possibilities that might occur during the three pumps' rotation operation could be verified with the suggested simulator during the design stage or before operation.

At present, the characteristics of drivers are not properly considered when informations are provided via VMS even though the Variable Message Signs(VMS) are one of the key information provision medias on the roads. In this study, the driver's psychological response(stress index) was evaluated using a driving simulator for the position of the VMS provided, the contents of the VMS provided, the size of characters on VMS, and types of VMS expression. It was appeared that the stress is the least when the position of the VMS provided 1.5km proceeded from exit, the contents of the VMS provided are time information and types of VMS expression are character form respectively and the size of characters on VMS is appeared not important. In addition, the change of the users' satisfaction level was measured when increasing the numbers of VMS on unit distance and the size of characters. The size of character was almost not effected in similar to the result of stress index and the satisfaction level increased when increasing the number of VMS on the unit distance. The results of this research can be utilized as basic data for the ITS system design and operation stages.

In this paper, we describe a slave chip based on the Profibus-DP protocol and a system board to verify the developed slave chip. The Profibus-DP protocol is designed using VHDL and implemented on FPGA. The system board adopting the developed FPGA is designed FPGA is designed in which the firmware is implemented on Intel 8051 by using C language. Among the Profibus-DP protocols, low level layers from the physical layer to the data link layer is implemented in the form of hardware that we are able to greatly reduce the CPU load in processing protocols, and then higher layers could be processed by software. These technologies result in an IP to make terminal devices in the distributed control systems. Therefore, many digital logics as well as communication logics can be implemented onto SOC(System On a Chip) and it could be applied to various fieldbus-related areas.
The goal of the proposed Intelligent Assisting System - IAS is to assist human operators in an intelligent way, while leaving decision and goal planning instances for the human. To realize the IAS the very important issue of manipulation skill identification and analysis has to be solved, which then is stored in a Skill Data Base. Using this data base the IAS is able to perform complex manipulations on the motion control level and to assist the human operator flexibly. We propose a model for manipulation skill based on the dynamics of the grip transformation matrix, which describes the dynamic transformation between object space and finger joint space. Interaction with a virtual world simulator allows the calculation and feedback of appropriate forces through controlled actuators of the sensor glove with 10 degrees-of-freedom. To solve the sensor glove calibration problem, we learn the nonlinear calibration mapping by an artificial neural network(ANN). In this paper we also describe the experimental system setup of the skill acquisition and transfer system as a first approach to the IAS. Some simple manipulation examples and simulation results show the feasibility of the proposed manipulation skill model.

Process modeling and simulation is a powerful methodology to quantitatively predict the change of process variables when operating and design conditions are changed. In this study, considering drawbacks of currently used process simulator for combined cycle plants, we developed process modeling system equipped with an ease of use and flexibility for model development. For this purpose, the analysis of combined cycle processes was carried out and consequently, mathematical models and libraries were developed. Furthermore, in view of the fact that the level of the abstraction of process models depends on the purpose of simulation as well as the available data, simple and rigorous models were also developed for some important units. In use of reference combined plant, we executed process simulation using the developed modeling system and the comparison was made between the results of simulation and the reference data. Less than 1% marginal error was identified and we concluded that the modeling system can be applied for commercial combined cycle processes.
To correspond with the unpredictable future tactical environment, Ive expanded the application of M&S(Modeling & Simulation) that is more scientific and more economic in a field of weapon system development process. This paper describes experience in development of ADSF(Air Defense Simulation Framework) that supports not only HLA(High Level Architecture) which is an international standard in M&S but also TCP/IP as well as real-time distributed simulation. ADSF has been applied to the M-SAM(Medium Range Surface to Air Missile) System Simulator, and satisfying test results through GPS(Global Positioning System) timer has been acquired. As a result, an ADSF which is able to support HLA and TCP/IP as veil as precise real-time simulation has been successfully made. we were in need or a real-time simulation engine to support Air Defense System Simulators that were consisted of several subsystems.
