개선된 알고리즘에 의한 지하철 운행간격 제어 (Train Regulation by the Advanced Algorithm for Subway)

  • Even if the train of subway starts in a certain interval from the origin according to the operation plan. as the number of passenger gets increased during operation. the boarding and getting-off time will increase, and the temporary breakdown happens to the system of train during operation, causing the delay from the operation plan. this leads to the vicious circle of train operation. making the interval of train operation irregular in downtown especially. To solve this problem, we propose the method of advanced algorithm by the actual data relating to the train operation including operation time required between stations, distance between stations. capability of train, and the dwelling time, location and distance between the preceding train and next one. The central train control system adjusts the dwelling time at each station in order to recover the delayed time, and increase the operation speed at the each station. As control algorithm is applied the dwelling time and to increase the speed, the train maintains certain interval after certain amount of time passes.

ITS 교통관리센터 운영관리 방안 연구 (A Study on Improving Management & Operation of TMC)

  • 현재 국내에는 많은 ITS관련 센터가 구축또는 운영중에 있다. 그러나 대다수 센터가 구축되기까지의 과정만큼의 운영에 있어서도 적극적인 발전방안과 연구가 진행되고 있지는 못하고 있는 실정이다. 이에 센터 내 연구부서 및 전문인력의 활성화로 질적인 진화가 이루어져야 하며, 본 연구에서는 현재 구축 및 운영중인 국내외 교통관리센터 운영조직을 분석하고 직접관리 분야 및 유지관리용역 분야 등 관리주체의 문제, 운영조직의 적정규모 및 권장안을 제시하고자 한다 또한 교육체계를 활성화할 수 있는 정기 및 수시교육방안과 업무매뉴얼 작성방안도 제시하였다. 향후 이를 기반으로 많은 연구가 구체적이며 다각적으로 진행되어야 할 것이며 센터 주관기관 또는 지자체 또한 이에 대한 관심과 투자를 아끼지 말아야 할 것이다. 또한 적절치 못한 인력배치와 전면적인 위탁관리도 시스템의 성능을 저하시킬 우려가 있음을 유의해야 하며, 국내 교통관리센터 통합연구조직 등 각 시스템을 위해 보다 효율적이고 내실있는 연구를 진행할 수 있는 여건이 마련되어야 할 것이다.

A STUDY ON SPACE ZONING BY COMPUTING IDLE-TIMES IN CONSTRUCTION PROCESSES

  • An inappropriate space zoning plan causes the unnecessary transportation of construction material and equipment among work areas and increases the disorder of work space. Space zoning is an essential operation management technique which contributes to reduce the process and/or operation idle-time. This paper introduces a method that computes the idle-times between construction operations (or processes) by using Web-CYCLONE. It allows computing with idle-times that affect the construction productivity. Using the idle time between operations and between processes, it computes the optimal number of zones and finds the optimal combination of zones that minimize the idle times. The method contributes to minimize the idle times relative to the operation schedule using complete enumeration. This paper presents the system prototype in detail. A case study is presented to demonstrate the system and verifies the validity of the model. It allows a project manager to establish space zoning plan that effectively segregates a project into optimal number of construction zones and to assign the constrained resources (e.g., laborer, equipment).

  • 한국군은 북한의 탄도미사일 위협에 대응하기 위해 단층방어의 취약점을 보완할 수 있는 다층방어를 구성 중이다. 이에 따라 다층방어체계의 요격률을 극대화 할 수 있는 운용방안 연구가 필요하며, 한국형 미사일 방어체계의 운용방안을 연구하기 위해서는 한국군의 작전환경, 전략적 타격체계의 효과 등을 종합적으로 고려해야 할 것이다. 따라서 본 연구는 한국형 미사일 방어체계의 특성을 반영한 시뮬레이션을 구성하고 총 4가지 요격미사일 운용방안을 선정하여 비교분석 하였다. 시뮬레이션 결과, 탄도미사일 위협 추정량과 요격미사일 보유량, 전략적 타격체계의 효과를 종합적으로 고려하는 것이 다양한 상황에서 높은 요격률을 달성할 수 있음을 확인하였다.

  • In the motor manufacturing system with the properties of short delivery and order based production, the process plan is performed individually for each order by the expert of process plan after the completion of the detail design process to satisfy the specification to be required by customer. Also it is hard to establish the standard process plan in reality because part routings and operation times are varied for each order. Hence, the production planner has the problem that is hard to establish the production schedule releasing the job to the factory because there occurs the big difference between the real time to be completed the process plan and the time to be required by the production planner. In this paper, we study the decision supporting system for the process plan based on knowledge base concept. First, we represent the knowledge of process planner as a database model through the modified POI-Feature graph. Then we design and implement the decision supporting system imbedded in the heuristic algorithm in the client/server environment using the ORACLE relational database management system.

  • The high prices and lack of information for satellite images prevent researchers from studying remote sensing and most non-professional people can't have the simple and easy solutions for the manipulation of satellite images. 'Satellite Imagery Information Management Center'(SIMC) project which is promoted by ETRI (Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute) from 2002 to 2005 in Korea have the purpose to provide the satellite images freely to the public domain and the solutions for the above mentioned problems. Our project have the following five systems; Data Acquisition System, Data Preservation System, Integrated Solution System, Technology Development System, Operation Plan System. Data Acquisition System collects the satellite images such as LANDSAT, IKONOS, etc. Data Preservation System consists of database which registers the diverse satellite images. Integrated Solution System gives the user of public domain for the web service which search, order and transfer the satellite images. Technology Development System has the many processing technologies for the satellite images. Finally, the Operation Plan system has the role to plan the future of our SIMC project. In this paper, we will give the result of SIMC Project for each five systems during the fast four years from 2002 to 2005.

  • Emergency preparedness plan(EPP) is the systematic management of activities that involve a material degree of risk of loss or other damage to the surroundings(people, property and environment), and the boundary of accident recovery plan(ARP). The main purpose of the program is to provide a safety management system to each facility in order to enable to prevent accident and to control accident immediately. The EPP includes not only typical safety-related documentations such as material safety data sheet(MSDS), standard operation procedure(SOP), emergency response plan(ERP). EPP is established basis of the preliminary safety analysis involving risk identification, assessment and prevention plans. The program is also helpful for government or related agencies to control a number of accidents in small-scale companies in the whole country.

  • In order to understand phenomenon of the electric railway power feeding system in the construction planning step, analysis of the overall system including electric characteristic of electric railway power feeding system, train running characteristic and power consumption pattern and train operation plan and gradients of railroad and curve radius is required. This paper study the feeder system by analysis of comprehensive system according to train operation plans, line impedance, running characteristic of train, electrical properties of the feeder system. In order to understand phenomenon to the feeder system of tram exactly regarding export of the field railroad preceeding actively recently.

  • The main purpose of HITES(Highly Integrated Total Energy System) is to build and develop an integrated energy system for power system operational planning and analysis which consists of load forecast, economic generation schedule, stability analysis and relational database system. The HITES can be utilized to supply a stable electric power and operate KEPCO's power system facilities economically. This system was put into operation in 1999. This paper describes the present condition for operation of HITES and proposes the plan to improve this system after installation.

  • The systems engineering (SE) process shall be applied to the project for successful development of ultra-high-speed (UHS) Maglev train system which is one of very large and complex systems. It is important to abolish technology differentials from the advanced developers such as Germany, Japan, etc. and to ensure discriminatory competitiveness of the application of systems engineering process for the development of the system based on appropriate concepts and requirements. General operation concept and stakeholder's requirements of UHS Maglev train system must be elicited with system concept for initiating the project. The management plan should be devised for all sorts of systems engineering activities of risk management, performance management, lifecycle cost management, etc. This paper would support to establish the systems engineering management plan (SEMP) for the program of UHS Maglev train system development with associated documents.
