This study analyzes the symbolism of uniform in modern Korea, based on the symbolic interaction theory. I classify a representative symbol among many symbols in one uniform. I found the sex, age, occupation, situation, religious, group belogning,cleanlines,authority, superiority, and rank symbol in the modern Koran uniform.

In this note we present some necessary and sufficient conditions for the hyponormality of Toeplitz operators $T_{\varphi}$ under certain assumptions concerning the trigonometric polynomial symbol ${\varphi}$.

We prove that Toeplitz operators with symbols in RW are bounded and we calculate some upper bounds of the norm of these Toeplitz operators. We also analyze n-th derivative of Toeplitz operators and get some local estimates.

We study commutants of Toeplitz operators acting on the Dirichlet space of the unit disk and prove that an operator in the Toeplitz algebra commuting with a Toeplitz operator with a nonconstant polynomial symbol must be a Toeplitz operator with an analytic symbol.

We prove the Sobolev continuity of maximal commutator and its fractional variant with Lipschitz symbols, both in the global and local cases. The main result in global case answers a question originally posed by Liu and Wang in [29].

Most research efforts on the OCDMA technology assume single-bit-per-symbol transmission techniques such as on-off keying. However, achieving high spectral efficiency with such transmission techniques is likely to be a challenging task due to the "unipolar" nature of optical signals. In this paper, an M-ary transmission technique using more than two equally-weighted codes is proposed for OCDMA local area networks, and ie BER performance and spectral efficiency are analyzed. Poison frame arrival and randomly generated codes are assumed for the BER analysis, and the probability of incorrect symbol detection is analytically derived. From the approximation, it is found that there exists an optimal code weight that minimizes the BER, and its physical interpretation is drawn in an intuitive and simple statement. Under the assumption of this optimized code weight and sufficiently large code dimension, it is also shown that the spectral efficiency of OCDMA networks can be significantly improved by increasing the number (M) of symbols used. Since the cost of OCDMA transceivers is expected to increase with the code dimension, we finally provide a guideline to determine the optimal number of symbols for a given code dimension and traffic load.

개인 휴대용 장치를 위한 최초의 CR (cognitive radio) 표준인 ECMA-392에서는 채널 추정을 위해, 매 프레임마다 2 OFDM 심볼 길이의 long preamble과 13 OFDM 심볼 구간 단위로 반복되는 pilot sub-carrier를 전송해 주도록 하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 ECMA-392 시스템의 long preamble과 pilot sub-carrier를 모두 이용하는 채널 추정 방식들을 고려하며, pilot sub-carrier에서 얻은 채널 추정치에 1차 순환 필터(first order recursive filter)를 적용하고 long preamble에서 얻은 초기 추정치를 필터의 초기 값으로 사용하는 '1차 순환 필터 기반 채널 추정' 방식을 제안한다. 또한 채널 추정 지연을 줄일 수 있는 방안도 제시할 것이며, 컴퓨터 모의실험을 통해 제안된 방식들이 저속 이동 채널 환경에서 우수한 성능을 가짐을 보이고자 한다.

Winter outerwear includes various clothes such as classical jackets/coats, padded jackets/coats, wind breakers, leather and fur jackets/coats. This research surveyed care-label instructions attached to 100 jackets/coats dropped off at five drycleaners in the Gyungin area. University students' perception and attitudes towards care labels and management of winter outerwear were examined using a questionnaire. Data collected from 230 respondents were analyzed by frequency analyses, t-tests, ANOVAs and Duncan tests with PASW 20.0. Half of the padding jackets/coats were labelled to be dry cleaned and dry cleaning was more excessively labelled than necessary. University students confirmed more care symbols than fiber compositions such as more at time of cleaning than at purchasing. Clothing-related major students understood care label symbols better than non-clothing major students. Consumers laundered some winter outerwear at home, even though they thought dry cleaning was a proper cleaning method. The appropriate cleaning method for padded jackets/coats is laundering; however, consumers who answered dry cleaning as an appropriate method were three times as those who answered washing, and those performed dry cleaning were two times as those who performed washing. Winter outerwear manufacturers should provide adequate and more specified care-information to consumers in order to maintain initial appearance and performance over longer periods.

본 논문에서는 컴퓨터 비전을 이용한 강의 도우미 시스템을 제안한다. 강의자가 강의를 진행하며 사용하는 강의 노트 및 관련 동영상 등 다양한 강의 컨텐츠를 사용할 때, 컨텐츠 전환 등 컴퓨터 조작으로 인해 강의의 끊김이 유발된다. 제안하는 시스템에서는 강의 도중 강의 컴퓨터에 대한 조작이 필요할 때, 보드에 미리 정해진 기호를 그려 넣고 시스템이 이를 인식하여 해당 조작을 수행함으로써 강의 끊김 없이 손쉽게 강의를 이끌어 가도록 도와준다. 제안된 강의 도우미 시스템에서는 임의의 기호를 인식하기 위해 모양 문맥이라는 특징 표현자를 사용한다.
