이 연구의 목적은 의사소통 능력 중심의 영어교육을 하기 위하여 특별히 한국인들이 영어를 발음할 때 나타나는 문제점들을 살펴보고 보다 정확한 영어발음을 낼 수 있도록 교육할 수 있는 지도안을 작성해 보고자하는 것이다. 먼저 한국인을 위한 영어발음교육의 특성과 제문제를 살펴보고, 보다 효과적인 발음지도를 위해 구체적인 발음지도 목표와 그 목표에 맞는 발음지도 법을 알아보았다. 발음지도 목표로는 우선, 영어를 모국어로 하는 사람들이 알아듣고 이해할 수 있는 정도의 발음을 갖추도록 하며, 이를 위해 (1)영어자,모음 식별 청취 및 발음, (2)올바른 강세와 억양 식별 및 구사, (3)연음 및 기타 주요 발음 현상 식별 및 구사 등을 지도하되, (1)보다 (2)와 (3)을 보다 집중적으로 지도 할 것을 제시하였다. 아울러 이들 각각의 내용을 보다 효과적으로 지도하기 위하여 의사소통 능력을 중심으로 한 여러 가지 지도법과 학습활동들을 소개하였다. 또한 교육한 내용에 대한 평가의 중요성을 강조하고 그 방법을 제시하였고, 보다 실용적인 발음지도안을 작성하기 위한 교사교육과 작성된 발음지도안의 활용이 필요함을 강조하였다.

This study was carried out to improve the curriculum in the department of environmental science technology in junior college, and the results were as follows 1. The educational aim of the department of environmental science technology in junior college has been rearranged. 2. The curriculum has been developed in accordance with the educational aim of this department. 3. The adoption of majoring courses is desirable. 4. The respective educational aims and the respective syllabus of the courses have been set up in accordance with the curriculum. 5. Studies on environmental planning and environmental economics which are necessary in future society, are disirable. 6. The enlargement of the educational oppurtunity in field-works by means of the efficient administration of cooperation committee of industry-college and of the educational effect by means of the utilization of the technology and man-power in the fields of the industry is really desirable.

Family and child educators have an obligation to ensure that their students understand, conceptually and pragmatically, the major research methods. The purpose of this study was to develop a qualitative methodology course for graduate students majoring in family and child studies. Three stages of course development were followed; investigating how methodology courses are offered in family and child studies, discussing what topics and components should be covered in a qualitative methodology course, and planning how the topics and components should be taught. The proposed qualitative methodology course includes; understanding philosophical and theoretical frameworks, teaming the general process of a qualitative research, comparing different qualitative traditions of inquiry, discussing emerging issues related to qualitative research, and conducting experimental field work. This study can provide an academic syllabus for family and child educators, who are interested in teaching a qualitative methodology course for graduate students.

In the engineering students, MSC is the most important basic areas in education. Also, the calculus is a main subject in the MSC. So calculus has been operating the annual number of courses at the university. We introduced the concept of joint control ; the joint syllabus, test and assessment. In harsh conditions to maintain joint control system of the calculus, we built a computer-aided-system to manage web-based result processing system. In this paper, we discussed the necessity and effectiveness of joint control system for calculus.

The statistics chapter in High School Mathematics I as implemented in The 7th Curriculum is reviewed critically. In views from mathematical integrity or logic, the current contents are not satisfactory in several key issues. Specific instances are the law of large numbers, normal distribution and confidence intervals for population mean. We suggest alternative teaching points to handle such difficulties and propose re-structuring the course syllabus with reduced items.

This study contains three themes as follows concerning the state of mathematics education and the textbooks in east and west germany before unification and in unified germany. The first subject is the investigations of the organization of the school systems and of the syllabus of mathematics in east germany in those days. Second, we analyzed the process of preparation for integration before unification, the nature of integration policies and the convention for the unification. Finally, we compare and analyze the similarities and differences in east and west german mathematics textbooks for middle school students combining those in south and north Korea, and further we suggest tasks to be studied in future research.

The principle of materialized world is the same as of human life. The human life is governed by the human mind composed of the copies of the materialized world. The stress is due to the human mind inside. The creativity is prevented by the copies in the human mind. The convergence is not easy due to the individual copy world which is different from each other. By subtraction of the copies inside the human, the creativity and convergence can be fulfilled. Syllabus of the lecture at KAIST is introduced. Students taking the lecture express the non-materialized world of human mind clearly after the subtraction the copies inside. The students who recognize the stress inside specifically can be free from the stress by discarding the copies inside.

Currently, there is a lack of studies on the directionality of architectural engineering education. This study has analyzed the opening and operation of courses relating to building construction in Korea universities. It was researched that the most common building construction courses opened in universities were 'building construction' and 'materials.' Courses are also being opened in universities by reflecting social demands. Upon analysis of the operation of the educational process of building construction, it was displayed that projects and examinations were conducted as the methods of assessment in courses at many universities. Additionally, there were universities that included quizzes and discussions in their methods of assessment. This study is expected to be used as data for studying an innovative means of educating architecture.

This paper discusses the independent seminar as one of the appropriate courses, in particular, for the students who study English literature in the doctoral program. Those who take the Ph.D. program in English literature are considered as future scholars or teachers. In taking the coursework, they not only delve into the knowledge of literature, but also begin to establish broader and deeper senses of research ability. The independent seminar class helps them build such senses through the way in which they experience to the development of the syllabus by themselves. Furthermore, in contrast to a regular class, in which a group of students learn in a classroom, the independent seminar gives each student intensive interactions with his/her professor through the out-of-classroom circumstances, since the seminar is based upon one-on-one study between the student and the professor.

This paper discusses some variables of innovation arised in the Mathematical Curriculum reform, This means that we should consider the curriculum change based on those variables so that the Mathematical Curriculum could be created on our culture, need of industrial society and nation's system. Those variables could be described as follows. (1) Extension of Compulsory Education (2) Needs of industrial society (3) Change of School environment (4) Integration of School subjects The research method used in the study was the interview-analysis method which the researcher firstly send the questionnaire and then have interviews with the target people. This study also suggests informally a possible solutions of problem that current mathematical curriculum is faced. Those solutions include the change of mathematics syllabus based on the adaption toward the real problems arised in real world.
