The Phytoplankton Compositions and Trophic States at Several Lakes ofSuwon-si, Korea (수원시 수계에 분포하는 식물플랑크톤의 종조성 및 영양단계)

  • Seasonal compositions, standing crops and trophic status of phytoplankton were investigated at 13 sites of Suwon-si, Gyeonggi-do from June, 2004 to March, 2005. Total of 304 taxa were found, and classified as 4 phylums 4 classes 13 orders 36 families 93 genera 246 species 47 varieties 8 forms and 3 unidentified species by Engler’s classification system. Judged by standing crops of phytoplakton, algal blooming was observed at every sampling sites except Pajang reservoir, Hagwanggyo reservoir, Suwon-cheon and Woncheon-cheon throughtout the whole study periods. While Hagwanggyo reservoir appeared to be in mesotrophic or oligomesotrophic status, most of the remaining sampling sites in Suwon-si were in eutrophic status according to trophic status index. In this study, the most abundant taxa revealed in eutrophic status were Anabaena circinalis, Pandorina morum, Scenedesmus acuminatus, and S. quadricauda as previously reported as the most abundant taxa in eutrophic status. But Navicula cryptocephala and Cyclotella stelligera, reported as the abundant taxa of mesotrophic and oligomesotrophic status, respectively, occurred in eutrophic status in this study.

  • 본 논문에서는 인간의 신체 중 가장 편리하고 자주 사용되는 손을 인식하여 기계와 사람의 상호작용이 가능하게 하여 보다 편리한 기계의 사용이 이루어질 수 있도록 손인식을 통한 마우스제어 방법을제시하였다. CCD웹캠으로 받은 영상에서 스킨컬러 값을 기반으로 손영역을 추출하여 손동작을 인식하는 알고리즘을 제안한다. 본 논문의 알고리즘의 장점은 손의 추출과 손가락 개수 파악이 저 사항의 환경에서도 빠르게 영상처리가 가능하다는 것이다. 이러한 장점을 이용하여 실생활에 적용, 기계와 더 편리한 커뮤니케이션의 방안을 제시한다.

The Effects of Parent-Adolescent Intimacy, Parent-Adolescent Communication, and Empathy on Clinical Competency of Nursing Students (간호대학생의 부모자녀 친밀감, 부모자녀 의사소통, 공감능력이 임상수행능력에 미치는 영향)

  • Purpose : This study aimed to identify the effects parent-adolescent intimacy, parent-adolescent communication, and empathy on the clinical competency of nursing students. Method : Data were collected by 175 nursing students using a self-questionnaire from May 17 to 31, 2017. The data were analyzed with the SPSS 21.0 using an independent t-test, Pearson correlation coefficients, and multiple regression. Result : There were significant positive correlations between clinical competency and the other variables. The strongest predictors of clinical competency were parent-adolescent intimacy (${\beta}=.33$) and academic record (${\beta}=.21$), and the model explained 11.3% (F=16.04, p<.001) of the variance. Conclusion : The findings indicated that further studies are needed to explore various factors influencing clinical competency and develop education programs for college nursing students.

A Study on Major Satisfaction according to Social Support Types of Students in the Dept. of Public Health Administration (보건행정학과 대학생의 사회적 지지유형에 따른 전공만족도에 관한 연구)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study was an attempt to improve the major satisfaction to verify the correlation of major satisfaction according to social support types of health administration major students. Methods: The subjects were 380 students with major in the Dept. of public health administration from 2 universities and 2 colleges located in Incheon city, Gyeonggi province, and Chungcheognam province. Data were collected from June 2 to 20, 2008 using structured questionnaires. Results: The study question are following : Social support type was sorted into three groups. Types of social support were classified high-support type, low-professor type, low-support type. Major satisfaction was the highest in the high-support type. The correlation between social support type and major satisfaction was the sequence correlation, low-professor type and low-support type were the reverse correlation. Conclusions: In conclusion, Students can improve of major satisfaction through study group activities, systemic learning and career counseling. Professors and students are improve solidarity through open communication methods.

Effect of Particle Dispersion on Physical Properties of Ni-CNT Composite Coatings (입자분산이 Ni-CNT 복합도금막의 특성에 미치는 영향)

  • Ni-CNT(carbon nanotubes) composite coating is often used for the surface treatment of electronic/mechanical devices to improve the properties of the exisiting Ni electroplating. For this, the dispersion of CNT particle is a critical process. In this study, ball milling and additive called sodium dodecyl sulfate(SDS) are employed for dispersion. Electroplated Ni-CNT films were examined by SEM-EDX, AES, microhardness tester, 4-point probe and contact angle measurement to find the optimum dispersion conditions. Ni-CNT coatings formed by ball milling for 9 hrs and with addition of SDS 12 times of CNT contents showed the highest hardness, reasonable resistivity and non-stick characteristics.

  • In this work we deal with the problem of how to squeeze multiple ciphertexts without losing original message information. To do so, we formalize the notion of decomposability for public-key encryption and investigate why adding decomposability is challenging. We construct an ElGamal encryption scheme over extension fields, and show that it supports the efficient decomposition. We then analyze security of our scheme under the standard DDH assumption, and evaluate the performance of our construction.

Comparison of soybean varieties for physical properties of Tofu (콩 품종별 두부의 물리적 특성의 비교)

  • The physical characteristics of texture, water holding capacity, color and swelling of soybean curd were studied for 14 varieties of soybeans grown in Korea. The relative water holding capacity, measured by moisture absorption method with using filter paper, was high for Millyang-21. Danyeob and Hwangum, low for Suwon-138, -141 and -142. All of the soybean curd prepared showed negative Sag values, which indicates swelling properties of Tofu as it as released from pressed condition. The most swollen variety was Suwon-138 and the least one was Suwon-142. Generally, soybean curd having high moisture content had low valuss in hardness but no significant relationship was found. Elasticity ud cohesiveness showed a little differences except Suwon-138. Other textural characteristics of fracturability, adhesiveness and gumminess showed a wide range in their values among the varieties.

Factors influencing the attitude toward death in college nursing student (간호대학생의 죽음태도 및 영향요인)

  • This study examined the relationships between self-esteem, and the awareness of biomedical ethics and the quality of life and death attitude, as well as the factors influencing the death attitude among 130 nursing students in college. The data were analyzed using an independent t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficients, and multiple regression with the SPSS Win 14.0 Program. Significant positive correlations were observed between the self-esteem and death attitude, between the awareness of biomedical ethics and the death attitude. The predictors for the death attitude were self-esteem (${\beta}=.25$) and awareness of biomedical ethics (${\beta}=.11$). The model explained 21.2% (F=10.4, p<.001) of the variance. The findings indicated that more study will be needed to explore the factors influencing the death attitude and to develop education programs for reinforcing a positive death attitude among college nursing students.

Alteration of Leaf Surface Structures of Poplars under Elevated Air Temperature and Carbon Dioxide Concentration

  • Effects of elevated air temperature and carbon dioxide ($CO_2$) concentration on the leaf surface structures were investigated in Liriodendron tulipifera (yellow poplar) and Populus tomentiglandulosa (Suwon poplar). Cuttings of the two tree species were exposed to elevated air temperatures at $27/22^{\circ}C$ (day/night) and $CO_2$ concentrations at 770/790 ppm for three months. The abaxial leaf surface of yellow poplar under an ambient condition ($22/17^{\circ}C$ and 380/400 ppm) had stomata and epicuticular waxes (transversely ridged rodlets). A prominent increase in the density of epicuticular waxes was found on the leaves under the elevated condition. Meanwhile, the abaxial leaf surface of Suwon poplar under an ambient condition was covered with long trichomes. The leaves under the elevated condition possessed a higher amount of long trichomes than those under the ambient condition. These results suggest that the two poplar species may change their leaf surface structures under the elevated air temperature and $CO_2$ concentration condition for acclimation of increased photosynthesis.

Determination of Atmospheric Lead in Suwon City (수원지역의 대기 중 Pb의 농도 결정)

  • Monitoring of lead concentration in the ambient alt was performed in Kyung Hee University-Suwon Campus over a period of 5 year from November 1989 to September 1994 using a cascade impactor having 9 size stages. Lead level was analyzed by x-ray fluorescence. The lead levels have been extensively examined to identify annual trends, seasonal variations, and size distribution of lead concentration. Even though consumption of leaded gasoline has been decreased, the levels have not significantly changed during the sampling period. Probably other sources like fossil fuel emission and refuse incinerator will be potential contributors. The seasonal variation showed that Pb concentration significantly increased in the winter season and decreased in the summer season. The size distributions of Pb were observed to be unimodal distribution of the 1.1~2.1 $mu extrm{m}$ sixte ranges in the winter and 0.65~1.1 ${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ in the summer.
