The terrestrial-digital multimedia broadcasting(T-DMB) is now provided for the public service and the number of receivers reaches 15 million at the present of August 2008. The service of T-DMB itself has been succeeded in the presence. It is however remained as a supplementary role of stationed TV. It is necessary to find an additional business model as a new media to acquire surplus escaping from the deficit of the present T-DMB service. In the present paper, data service of T-DMB is proposed as candidate of such solution. Especially, TTI(Traffic and Travel Information) service is proposed as a killer application using TPEG(Transport Protocol Experts Group). At present, TPEG has not been so popular in the sense of various user satisfaction. Thus the variety of service including bi-directional service using DMB2.0 as in the sphere of Web2.0 is necessary for the service providers. In the paper, the restriction of TPEG-POI(Point of Interest) application service using the conventional mobile communication infrastructure is indicated. To overcome such restriction, TPEG-UCM(User Created Message) application service model using individual bi-directional media which is initiated and interacting by the users is proposed. In the experiment, the application program shows the usability of the proposed method so that the implementation results show its operability.
Esterifying conditions to produce propylene glycol alginate (PGA) with alginic acid and propylene oxide were determined, and physico-chemical properties of the PGA were also determined. The rate of esterification increased with the content of propylene oxide up to 4 mole. Alginic acid containing $30\%$ of water shelved maximum esterification, however, it was dificult to remove the surplus moisture in the alginic acid when it cotained the moisture above $70\%$. Maximum esterification was taken place when alginic acid with $44.15\%$ water was reacted with 4mole of propylene oxide at $70^{\circ}C$. The rate of esterification of alginic acid with $50.05\%$ of water increased up to 1 hour at $70^{\circ}C$, followed by no significant increase with reaction time. No significant decrease in the viscosity of $2-3\%$ PGA solution occurred, up to pH 3.0. Pseudoplastic characteristics were kept in case of $1\%,\;2\%\;3\%$ and $5\%$ of PGA solution in the pH of 1.0-5.0.

This paper proposes an algorithm designed to obtain the optimal solution for transportation problem. The transportation problem could be classified into balanced transportation where supply meets demand, and unbalanced transportation where supply and demand do not converge. The archetypal TSM (Transportation Simplex Method) for this optimal solution firstly converts the unbalanced problem into the balanced problem by adding dummy columns or rows. Then it obtains an initial solution through employment of various methods, including NCM, LCM, VAM, etc. Lastly, it verifies whether or not the initial solution is optimal by employing MODI. The abovementioned algorithm therefore carries out a handful of complicated steps to acquire the optimal solution. The proposed algorithm, on the other hand, skips the conversion stage for unbalanced transportation problem. It does not verify initial solution, either. The suggested algorithm firstly allocates resources so that supply meets demand, in the descending order of its loss cost. Secondly, it optimizes any surplus quantity (the amount by which the initially allocated quantity exceeds demand) in such a way that the loss cost could be minimized Once the above reallocation is terminated, an additional arrangement is carried out by transferring the allocated quantity in columns with the maximum cost to the rows with the minimum transportation cost. Upon application to 2 unbalanced transportation data and 13 balanced transportation data, the proposed algorithm has successfully obtained the optimal solution. Additionally, it generated the optimal solution for 4 data, whose solution the existing methods have failed to obtain. Consequently, the suggested algorithm could be universally applied to the transportation problem.

One of the major issues surrounding big data is the availability of massive time-based or telemetry data. Now, the appearance of low cost capture and storage devices has become possible to get very detailed time data to be used for further analysis. Thus, we can use these time data to get more knowledge about the underlying system or to predict future events with higher accuracy. In particular, it is very important to define custom tailored contract offers for many households and businesses having smart meter records and predict the future electricity usage to protect the electricity companies from power shortage or power surplus. It is required to identify a few groups with common electricity behavior to make it worth the creation of customized contract offers. This study suggests big data transformation as a side effect and clustering technique to understand the electricity usage pattern by using the open data related to smart meter and KNIME which is an open source platform for data analytics, providing a user-friendly graphical workbench for the entire analysis process. While the big data components are not open source, they are also available for a trial if required. After importing, cleaning and transforming the smart meter big data, it is possible to interpret each meter data in terms of electricity usage behavior through a dynamic time warping method.
Objectives: This study was carried out to evaluate the effects of embryonic stage, cryoprotectant, and freezing-thawing method on the rates of survival and development of the cryopreserved mouse early embryo and finally to establish the cryopreservation method of surplus embryos obtained during assisted reproductive technology (ART). Materials and Methods: Two to eight cell embryos were obtained from oviducts of mated $F_1$ hybrid female mice superovulated by pregnant mare's serum gonadotropin (PMSG) and human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG). Two-step 1,2-propanediol (PROH), dimethylsulfoxide (DMSO) and 4-step PROH DMSO were used as cryoprotectant and dehydration and rehydration method of embryos, and slow-cooling or rapid-cooling method was used as frozen program. The survival rates of embryos were measured after thawing and rehydration, and the developmental rates of embryos were compared and observed during culturing embryos for 24, 48, 72, 96 hrs. Results: As for the survival and development rates of embryos according to embryonic stage, the survival rate of 2 cell stage in PROH and DMSO was significantly higher than 4-8 cell (64.5% versus 62.1 %,79.7% versus 73.2%) (p<0.01, p<0.01), but the development rates of 4-8 cell embryos in PROH and DMSO were significantly higher than 2 cell embryos for whole culture period (p<0.01) and the development rates of 4-8 cell embryos in PROH were significantly higher than 2 cell embryos in DMSO (p<0.01). As for the survival and development rates of embryos according to cryoprotectant, the survival rate of 2 cell embryo in DMSO was significantly higher than that in PROH (74.4% versus 64.5%) (p<0.01), whereas the development rate of embryos was not differ till 24 hrs. The developmen1 rate from morular to hatching blastocyst, however, was significantly higher in PROH than in DMSO during 48 hr (p<0.01). The survival rate of 4-8 cell embryo was 62.1% in PROH and 73.2% in DMSO. The development rates of embryo in PROH were significantly higher for whole culture periods (p<0.01, 0.05). In respect to the effect of freezing and thawing program on the survival and development rates of embryos, method of slow cooling and rapid thawing was more effective than that of rapid cooling and rapid thawing. Conclusions: The survival rate of embryo in 2 cell stage was higher than in 4-8 cell stage, and PROH appears more effective cryoprotectant than DMSO because PROH showed better development rates of embryos in 2 and 4-8 cell stage. Moreover, slow cooling and rapid thawing method was considered as the best cryopreservation program.

'Saemimyeon' a Tongil-type rice variety (Indica ${\times}$ Japonica), which contains high amylose contents is suitable for rice noodle production. Nowadays, the major parts of rice processing industry that includes products like rice flour and noodles are expected to partially replace wheat flour market. The volume of rice noodle market is getting bigger and can contribute to the rice surplus and farmer's income. This study was carried out to promote productivity and flour-making quality of 'Saemimyeon' by finding the most suitable transplanting and harvesting times. The transplanting days used were May $10^{th}$, May $17^{th}$, May $24^{th}$, May $31^{th}$, June $7^{th}$ and June $14^{th}$ and the planting distance used was 30 x 12cm. In addition, harvesting time was determined by days after heading time (40, 45, 50, 55 and 60 days). The field experiment was conducted at the experimental field in Miryang (Southern plain area of Korea) from 2015 to 2016. Our results suggest that the optimum transplanting days were from May $24^{th}$ to May $31^{th}$ which resulted to an average yield of 748~751kg/10a. Interestingly, yield was sharply decreased below 700kg/10a before May $10^{th}$ and after June $7^{th}$. The average grain filling rate before May $31^{th}$ was more than 83% but it declined to 75% after June $7^{th}$. The average temperature ranges from heading time to harvesting time was $ 21\sim25^{\circ}C$ and the estimated optimal temperature was $23.4^{\circ}C$ which is similar to May $24^{th}$ by regression equation. We found that the optimal harvest time was 45~50 days after heading time. It is hypothesized that low temperature at seed maturation time caused the lower grain filling rate therefore 'Saemimyeon' need to be transplanted before May $31^{th}$ for higher productivity. We found no statistical variation in amylose contents among experimental plots (28.2~30.4%). We conclude that the productivity of 'Saemimyeon' highly depends on temperature that is critical for grain filling stage controlled by transplanting time.
Recently, technology for energy recovery from waste has been increasing interest globally including the Korea. In Korea, we have interested in using biogas generated from the sewage treatment process. As one alternative, there are operating biogas combined heat and power plant. The generation amount of the Sewage Sludge are expected to grow in the future. For this reason, total processing cost of Sewage Sludge will increase. To solve this problem, it seems will be invested with the expansion of facilities that use biogas as energy. Therefore, quantitative information on such facilities is required. Thus, this study attempts to economic feasibility analysis for Seonam Biogas Combined Heat and Power Plant. Meanwhile, as the benefit items for economic feasibility analysis consider electricity supply benefit except for heat supply benefit. The average prices of electricity use were residence 123.69, commercial 130.46, and industry 102.59 won per kWh for the year 2015, In addition, the economic benefit are calculated to be residence 310.21, commercial 378.49, and industry 222.87 won per kWh. The results of economic feasibility analysis is NPV 72.18 billion won, B/C 1.90, IRR 37%, shows that economic validity of Seonam Biogas Combined Heat and Power Plant.
The objective of this study was to assess the regime of heat shock protein and leaf temperature caused by high temperature stress in chinese cabbage grown in alpine region. In monsoon period, high temperature and heavy rain have caused a stress condition for the cultured higher plants. Chinese cabbages were grown in different altitude, i.e. 600 m and 1,100 m. It was demonstrated that heat shock protein (Hsp 90) in alpine chinese cabbage leaf was actively expressed by high temperature and surplus nitrogen application. As a results of thermo-graphically observed leaf temperatures, chinese cabbage grown in high altitude region were ranged from 20.5 to $24.3^{\circ}C$ while in low altitude from 24.0 to $31.5^{\circ}C$. Furthermore, analysis of assimilated nutrients indicated that total nitrogen content was higher in plant grown under high temperature than under low temperature.
This study aims to reveal the meaning and essence of male immigrant workers' life who underwent industrial accidents through specific experiences. This study is based on the Van Manen(1990)'s lived experience phenomenological method, which actively describes the experiences about the industrial accidents in the perspective of male immigrant worker. The in-depth interviews were carried out with the thirteen male immigrant workers participants who underwent the industrial accidents. Through the interview, 121 meaning units and 38 disclosed themes were constructed. The following is the summarized results as 9 essential themes: < the oppression of the Industrial accident compensation insurance's hospitals to the aliens >, < being treated like the surplus man who lost the labor force >, < the class rank below despite undergoing the industrial accidents >, < survival having resistance sentiments >, < living at the anonymous lands as the Homo sacer >, < the stratified strategies between the immigrant workers >, < the origins as the bodiless shadow >, < struggling to escape the present conditions >, < present circumstances tied by the past experiences without hope >, researcher sought the essential meaning structure about the four Life-world Existentials (Body, The other, Space and Time) of constructing human's live-world. Based on the study results, some suggestions were made to restore the male immigrant workers' damaged quality of their lives who experienced industrial accidents and to contribute the social integration in view of the social welfare.

In this study, we assess the recent changes in the amount of excretion by the livestock industry, and discuss the effects of increasing the ratio of cultivated land on the reduction of surplus nitrogen from a cost-performance perspective. Nitrogen has contributed to acidification of ecosystems and nitrate concentrations in groundwater, especially in Europe. Therefore, we assessed the level of nitrogen waste from the domestic Japanese livestock industry, including cattle, swine and poultry during the period 1987-2001. This assessment assumed that 40% of the nitrogen from the domestic livestock industry was emitted as gas into the air and that 60% of the nitrogen was contained in manure used on domestic cultivated land. Nitrogen excreted from livestock, excluding gas emission, decreased by 11% from 0.504 million tons to 0.447 million tons during 1993-2001. Thus, the peak period of nitrogen excretion from livestock is already past in Japan. However, the area of cultivated land under management also decreased during 1990-2000. In addition, the area of paddy and upland fields left unplanted for a year increased during 1990-2000. Therefore, if all manure from the domestic livestock industry had been utilized on the fields as organic fertilizer, but not on arable land left uncultivated for the past year, the nitrogen per net area of cultivated land would have increased by 5%, from 125 to 131 N kg/ha, during 1990-2000. To reduce the nitrogen ratio on cultivated land through the planting of feed grain to utilize the nitrogen, a comparison of the cost performance of feed grains indicated that barley would be more suitable than wheat, rice or soybean. Had barley been planted in 100% of the land left fallow for the past year in 2000, 4% (20,000 tons) of the nitrogen from livestock waste would have been used in the harvest, and the nitrogen per land unit would have not increased but decreased from 125 to 121 N kg/ha during the same decade. Furthermore, when converted into Total Digestible Nutrients, 7% of imported feed corn could have been replaced with the harvested barley in 2000. Planting barley on this fallow land had three benefits; reducing the risk of manure overload on the land, slowing down the decrease in cultivated land, and raising the feed self-sufficiency ratio. Thus, it would be beneficial to plant feed grain such as barley in land left fallow for the past year through utilization of manure.
