This paper describes a design of real time fuzzy controller using Minimum fuzzy control Rule Selection Method(MRSM). The control algorithm of dynamic systems needs less computation time and memory. To reduce the computation time of fuzzy logic controller, minimum number of rules are to be selected for the fuzzy input variable. The universe of discourse is divided by the number of linguistic labels to allocate the assigned membership function to the fuzzy input variables. In this case, since fuzzy input variables are continuous, scale factor SU is tuned independently. According to increment of SU control surface is improved to adapt the change of system parameter. At this, crisp control surface is increased. With the increament of crisp control surface, fuzzy control surface is reduced. When error state deviates from desirable error state, crisp control surface is more useful than fuzzy control surface for obtaining fast rising time.
Platelet-derived growth factor (PDGF) is a critical regulator of mesenchymal cell migration and proliferation. The vital functions of PDGFs for angiogenesis, as well as development of kidney, brain, cardiovascular system and pulmonary alveoli during embryogenesis, have been well demonstrated by gene knock-out approaches. Clinical studies reveal that aberrant expression of PDGF and its receptor is often associated with a variety of disorders including atherosclerosis, fibroproliferative diseases of lungs, kidneys and joints, and neoplasia. PDGF contributes to cancer development and progression by both autocrine and paracrine signaling mechanisms. In this review article, important features of the PDGF isoforms and their cell surface receptor subunits are discussed, with regards to signal transduction, PDGF-isoform specific cellular response, and involvement in angiogenesis, and tumorstromal interactions.

In this study, we used Sentinel-1 C-band synthetic aperture radar to calculate the surface state factor (SSF) for distinguishing the frozen-thawed state of soil. The accuracy of SSF classification was analyzed through comparison with air temperature (AT), grass temperature (GT), and underground temperature (UT). For the analysis, 116 Sentinel-1B Descending nodes observed over a period of 4 years from 2017 to 2020 were established for the central region of South Korea. AT, GT, and UT data were obtained from 23 soil moisture observation points of the Rural Development Administration during the same period, and analyzed using the 06:00 am data adjacent to the shooting time of the Sentinel-1B images. The average accuracy and F1-score for all stations were 0.63 and 0.47 for AT, 0.63 and 0.48 for GT, and 0.57 and 0.21 for UT, respectively. For winter (December-February) data, the average accuracy and F1-score were 0.66 and 0.76 for AT, 0.67 and 0.76 for GT, and 0.47 and 0.44 for UT, respectively. The increase in accuracy during winter data may be attributed to the fact that errors occurring in other seasons are not included.
An one dimensional atmosphere-vegetation interaction model is developed to discuss of the effect of vegetation on heat flux in mesoscale planetary boundary layer. The canopy model was a coupled system of three balance equations of energy, moisture at ground surface and energy state of canopy with three independent variables of $T_f$(foliage temperature), $T_g$(ground temperature) and $q_g$(ground specific humidity). The model was verified by comparative study with OSUID(Oregon State University One Dimensional Model) proved in HYPEX-MOBHLY experiment. As the result, both vegetation and soil characteristics can be emphasized as an important factor iii the analysis of heat flux in the boundary layer. From the numerical experiments, following heat flux characteristics are clearly founded simulation. The larger shielding factor(vegetation) increase of $T_f$ while decrease $T_g$. because vegetation cut solar radiation to ground. Vegetation, the increase of roughness and resistance, increase of sensible heat flux in foliage while decrease the latent heat flux in the foliage.
Flow with suction to water turbine must be in stable state at small hydraulic power plant. But because of water level fluctuation and water gate effect according to irregular supply of cooling water, it would happen to produce bubble and vortex and finally lead to problems in power-plant system. With utilizing the concept design of double size gate, surface water overflowed the overhead of gate for stable flow at suction. We developed the overflow condition and analyzed the design factor with existed one such as water level(overflow amount) and overhead of water gate(overflow figure). Flow test and CFD simulation say that flow have stable state around suction and 20% of wave reduction effect at surface layer after surface water overflow.
Time-dependent formulations of the reactive scattering theory based on the wavepacket correlation functions with the M${\phi}$ller wavepackets for the electronically nonadiabatic reactions are presented. The calculations of state-to-state reactive probabilities for the quasi-Jahn-Teller scattering model system were performed. The conical intersection (CI) effects are investigated by comparing the results of the two-surface nonadiabatic calculations and the single surface adiabatic approximation. It was found that the results of the two-surface nonadiabatic calculations show interesting features in the reaction probability due to the conical intersection. Single surface adiabatic calculations with extended Born-Oppenheimer approximation using simple wavepacket phase factor was found to be able to reproduce the CI effect semi-quantitatively, while the single surface calculations with the usual adiabatic approximation cannot describe the scattering process for the Jahn-Teller model correctly.
To lower the fabrication cost of silicon solar cells, a surface treatment using a dielectric barrier discharge instead of a wet cleaning technique was examined on electrode surfaces on silicon solar cells. The fill factor obtained through measuring current-voltage characteristics was evaluated, and the treated surface state was characterized by energy-dispersive X-ray. It was found that the dielectric barrier discharge effectively activated the electrode surface and the surface treatment on finger electrodes contributed greatly to improve the fill factor.

The adsorption of CO on W(111) surface in the range of adsorption temperature between 300 K and 1000 K has been studied using AES, LEED, and TDS in an UHV system. After CO saturation at 300 K, four desorption peaks are observed at temperatures (K) of about 400, 850, 1000, and 1100 in thermal desorption spectra, called as α, β1, β2, and β3 state, respectively. The state was attributed to molecular species of CO, which is well known. Because the CO in βstates (especially the β3 state) is still debated as to whether it is dissociative or non-dissociative, the β3 state is mainly discussed. By using the variation method of heating rate in the thermal desorption spectrometry, the desorption energy and pre-exponential factor for the β3 state are evaluated to be 280 kJ/mol and 1.5×10 12 s-1 , respectively. A lateral interaction energy of 5.7 kJ/mol can also be estimated by Bragg-Williams approximation. To interpret the thermal desorption spectra for the β3 state, moreover, those for the model of a first order and a second order desorption are simulated using quasi-chemical approximation. In this study, a model of lying-down CO species is proposed for the β3 state of CO adsorption.
In this study, we propose a three-dimensional simplified slope stability analysis using a hybrid-type penalty method (HPM). In this method, a solid element obtained by the HPM is applied to a column that divides the slope into a lattice. Therefore, it can obtain a safety factor in the same way as simplified methods on the slip surface. Furthermore, it can obtain results (displacement and strain) that cannot be obtained by conventional limit equilibrium methods such as the Hovland method. The continuity condition of displacement between adjacent columns and between elements for each depth is considered to incorporate a penalty function and the relative displacement. For a slip surface between the bottom surface and the boundary condition to express the slip of slope, we introduce a penalty function based on the Mohr-Coulomb failure criterion. To compute the state of the slip surface, an r-min method is used in the load incremental method. Using the result of the simple three-dimensional slope stability analysis, we obtain a safety factor that is the same as the conventional method. Furthermore, the movement of the slope was calculated quantitatively and qualitatively because the displacement and strain of each element are obtained.
The radius and coordinate of sliding circle are taken as searching variables in slope stability analysis. Genetic algorithm is applied for searching for critical factor of safety. In order to search for critical factor of safety in slope stability analysis efficiently and in a robust manner, some improvements for simple genetic algorithm are proposed. Taking the advantages of efficiency of neighbor-search of the simulated annealing and the robustness of genetic algorithm, a hybrid optimization method is presented. The numerical computation shows that the procedure can determine the minimal factor of safety and be applied to slopes with any geometry, layering, pore pressure and external load distribution. The comparisons demonstrate that the genetic algorithm provides a same solution when compared with elasto-plastic finite element program.
