본 연구에서는 일반 중학교 3학년 학생들의 일상적인 수업에서 집단 창의성 발현을 통해 수학적 모델링 활동을 지원한 사례를 분석하였다. 이를 위해 첫째, 선행연구 분석을 통해 사회문화적 관점에 따른 집단 창의성의 의미와 수학적 모델링의 사회문화적 특성을 확인하였다. 둘째, 4명씩 5모둠으로 구성된 한 학급에서 실험을 수행한 뒤, 집단 창의성 발현이 잘 이루어진 한 모둠의 사례에 초점을 둔 사례 연구를 수행하였다. 그 결과, 첫째, 수학적 모델링의 각 단계별로 다양한 유형의 상호작용이 나타났으며, 수학적 모델링의 단계와 발생한 상호작용의 유형에 따라 다양한 창의적 시너지가 관찰되었다. 즉, 수학적 모델링 활동에서 집단 창의성 발현이 관찰되었다. 둘째, 발현된 집단 창의성은 수학적 모델링의 각 단계의 수행을 지원하였다. 이때, 수학적 모델링의 단계와 발생한 상호작용에 따라 각기 다른 방향으로 수학적 모델링 활동을 지원하였다.

In this paper, we examine the roles, mutual relationships, and guidelines for a healthy life as exemplified by the characters Santiago and Manolin in Ernest Hemingway's novel "The Old Man and the Sea" and use this content to compare the happy home life of elderly couples in Korea. Through a metaphorical exploration of the lives of elderly husbands and wives in Korean society, the study examines their significance as the core of the family, particularly during their senior years. Ernest Hemingway's "The Old Man and the Sea" portrays Santiago as a unique embodiment of virtue and humanity. As an elderly male fisherman, he symbolizes a profound connection with the sea, as well as qualities such as courage, patience, and unwavering passion. His story underscores the importance of pursuing new goals and maintaining hope even in old age. The relationship between Santiago and Manolin provides insights into the dynamics of elderly husbands and wives in their domestic lives. Manolin's unwavering support for Santiago and his understanding of Santiago's dreams exemplify the significance of mutual support and the establishment of common goals for elderly couples. These characters serve as exemplary models for understanding and supporting one another within a family setting. Within the context of family life, applying these exemplary models and relationship dynamics fosters mutual respect, collaboration, emotional expression, and effective communication. Supporting each other and working towards common goals can enhance the family atmosphere, resolve conflicts, and enrich domestic life. Furthermore, when elderly couples share common goals and enjoy activities together, they strengthen their bond and create a more fulfilling family life. These shared activities deepen the affection between elderly husbands and wives and contribute to a thriving household. Through the characters of Santiago and Manolin in "The Old Man and the Sea," we present in this study a deeper understanding of the values and roles within the domestic lives and affection of elderly husbands and wives. Mutual respect, collaboration, emotional expression, communication, mutual support, common goals, hope, and shared domestic activities all play pivotal roles in maintaining a healthy family life and establishing happiness and well-being within the family. We expect this study to offer valuable insights into the fields of family studies, elderly welfare, and sociology.

Over the years, probabilistic risk assessment (PRA) research activities conducted at the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) have played an essential role in support of the agency's move towards risk-informed regulation. These research activities have provided the technical basis for NRC's regulatory activities in key areas; provided PRA methods, tools, and data enabling the agency to meet future challenges; supported the implementation of NRC's 1995 PRA Policy Statement by assessing key sources of risk; and supported the development of necessary technical and human resources supporting NRC's risk-informed activities. PRA research aimed at improving the NRC's understanding of risk can positively affect the agency's regulatory activities, as evidenced by three case studies involving research on fire PRA, human reliability analysis (HRA), and pressurized thermal shock (PTS) PRA. These case studies also show that such research can take a considerable amount of time, and that the incorporation of research results into regulatory practice can take even longer. The need for sustained effort and appropriate lead time is an important consideration in the development of a PRA research program aimed at helping the agency address key sources of risk for current and potential future facilities.

As data-based research activities and outcomes increase and ontact or non-face-to-face activities become common, the demand for easy utilization of resources, tools, functions, and easily accessible information required for research in the R&D sector has increased accordingly. With the rapid increase in the demand for collaborative research based on online platforms, research support institutions strive to provide venues for research activities that merge various information and functions. ScienceON, an integrated science & technology (S&T) knowledge infrastructure service developed and operated by the Korea Institute of S&T Information (KISTI), supports open collaboration by connecting and merging all the information, functions, and infrastructure required for research activities. This paper describes the online research activity support tool provided by ScienceON and the remarkable results achieved through this activity. Specifically, the excellent creation of the following flow of meta-material research activities in the ontact space is elucidated. First, the papers required for a meta-material analysis are retrieved, virtual simulation is conducted with the experimental data extracted from the papers, and research data are accumulated. ScienceON's tools for supporting ontact research activity will play a role as an important service in the era of digital transformation and open science.

The changing structure of organization and the increasing diversity of business have forced organizations to have abilities to coordinate dispersed business activities. They have required cooperation and coordination among the functional units in the organization which should involve group decision-making processes. Although many group decision-making support tools and methods have been introduced to enable the collaborative process of group decision-making, they often lack the features supporting the dynamic complexity issue frequently occurring at group decision-making processes. This results in cognitive unfit between the group decision-making tasks and their supporting tools, bringing about mixed results in their effects on group decision-making. This study proposes system dynamics modeling as a group decision-making support tool to deal with the group decision -making tasks having properties of dynamic complexity in terms of cognitive fit theory.

Learning community is one of the important pillars of the education in knowledge-based society. How to encourage students' spontaneous participation to the learning community is one of the actual problems to solve for the revolution of the education scheme. In this paper we introduce a strategy to boost the activity of the learning community, which works in the on-line space. The keys for the on-line supporting system for the learning community are to have communication space, trading space and connection with industry. To support activities of each space, we provide an on-line web site which includes a community module, a knowledge market module and an industrial commentary module. Students can start their self-leading study in the communication space, and they can also practice skills for the knowledge management in the knowledge trading space. Through the connection space, they can learn more from the real world critics with help of industry.

In this paper, we propose a new approach to providing interactive and collaborative lens among multi-users for supporting level-of-detailed views using smartphones in a public display. In order to provide smartphone-based lens capability, the locations of smartphones are effectively detected and tracked using Kinect, which provides RGB data and depth data (RGB-D). In particular, human skeleton information is extracted from the Kinect 3D depth data to calculate the smartphone location more efficiently and correctly with respect to the public display and to support head tracking for easy target selection and adaptive view generation. The suggested interactive and collaborative lens using smartphones not only can explore local spaces of the shared display but also can provide various kinds of activities such as LOD viewing and collaborative interaction. Implementation results are given to show the advantage and effectiveness of the proposed approach.

This study reviews an overview of the current tax support system for venture company and provides the directions for developing tax support system related policy for the venture company in Korea. The tax authority provides a supporting directions of venture company in three ways: a financing viewpoint, a technical and manpower viewpoint, and the location viewpoint. And the supporting system for venture company is devide into tax support system through tax laws and support system through other law. The requirements of receiving tax support for venture company are a venture company, a small and medium company, a newly starting firm, and so forth. To mitigate the restriction imposed by the current tax law on venture company encourage venture activities in Korea.

As the aging of this society, instead of growing numbers old protective functions of families decreased according to increasing tendency of nuclear families, increasing rates of females' participation of economic activities. Now, the problem of supporting the old is in need of social supporting system the cope with this are based on these factors are like this: 1) It is necessarily the instruction of medical welfare service. 2) The overlapped service is avoided and the service of specialized. 3) Most of the welfare service institution is Seoul and local city hall, so it needs the institution is transferred. 4) It needs the increase the number of home helper. 5) When the service is offered, the government must considers finance, elderly health condition and preference. 6) It needs the department for the welfare service for the old who stay at home.

The diverse set of phenomena, concepts, and activities existing in academic disciplines could be studied from multiple perspectives. One of the promising approaches to explore phenomena is hermeneutics, especially in the form of hermeneutic phenomenology, which has been formed as a consequence of postmodern movements. Hermeneutic phenomenology has taken root in the original ideas of philosophers like Husserl, Heidegger, and Gadamer, and has become one of the fruitful research methodologies over time. After a brief review of the foundations of hermeneutic and phenomenological methodologies, the role of the hermeneutic phenomenology approach in supporting research and information services is discussed. The present article seeks to describe narratively the use of hermeneutic phenomenology in such issues as information technology, information behavior, knowledge organization, and librarians' roles as related to Information Science.
