공급사슬네트워크 시뮬레이터 개발 (Development of Supply Chain Network Simulator)

  • The competition between companies for prior occupation of the market is becoming fierce. In this highly competitive situation, it is important for companies to differentiate themselves if they are going to have a chance at success. And the competition to create the best solution method possible is higher than ever. Increased competition is forcing companies to lower costs and improve efficiency. A supply chain management(SCM) has become one of the most important solution methods of competitive advantage. This study has developed a simulator for the supply chain network problem. The simulator is designed to simulate the conditions of an actual supply chain network considering uncertainties. The simulator developed using commercial simulation tool ARENA and the results of computational experiments for a simple example were given and discussed to validate the developed simulator. Further research is needed, but using the simulator could become a useful tool for decision making in the supply chain network area.

The Effect of Supply Chain Management on Total Quality Management: An Application of Just-in-Time (JIT) Practices

  • The study attempted to answer the questions related to the expected effects of supply chain management variables which include: Partnership with Suppliers (PS), Relationships with Customers (RC), Quality of Information Exchange (QIE), and Postponement (P), as independent variables, total quality management (TQM) as a dependents variable, and just in time (JIT) as a mediator variable. The study relies on the descriptive approach by conducting an empirical study on commercial companies in Riyadh Governorate in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Through the methods of descriptive and analytical statistics represented in exploratory factor analysis (EFA), confirmatory factor analysis (CFA), and structural equation modeling (SEM)), using the AMOS and SPSS programs, the results of the applied study indicated that: There is an effect of supply chain management variables (quality of information exchange, Postponement) on just in time (JIT), there is no effect of the supply chain variables (relationship with customers, partnership with suppliers) on just in time (JIT), there is an indirect effect of the quality of information exchange, Postponement, partnership with suppliers, the relationship with customers on total quality management (TQM), relationship with customers affect on total quality management (TQM) indirectly, just in time (JIT) does not affect total quality management (TQM)

소규모 제조기업의 ESG경영 도입 및 활성화방안 (Introduction and Activation of ESG Management of Small Manufacturing Companies)

  • Recently, ESG management has become a global trend, receiving increasing attention from stakeholders such as consumers, investors, and governments, as regulations related to ESG disclosure and supply chain due diligence have been strengthened since the United Nations Principles of Responsible Investment (UN PRI) was announced in 2006. ESG is an acronym for the environment (E), social (S), and governance (G) and is accepted as a key factor for the continuous survival and growth of a company. As a result, there are over 600 ESG management evaluation indicators operated domestically and internationally, and numerous global initiatives have emerged. Korea's Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy also announced "K-ESG Guidelines (December 2011)" and "K-ESG Guidelines for Supply Chain Response (December 22)" to help SMEs introduce ESG management and respond to supply chain due diligence. However, small-scale manufacturing companies with poor financial, human resources, and technological capabilities face significant challenges in introducing ESG management. Accordingly, this study aims to examine the current status of ESG management adoption in small-scale manufacturing companies with less than 150 people in Korea and propose activation plan ESG management based on the diagnostic requirements of the "Supply Chain Response K-ESG Guidelines."

  • 환경에 대한 관심이 높아짐에 따라 제조업체들에게 생산제품의 수거 및 처리를 강제하는 규제들이 강화되었고, 이에 따라 제품 수명 종료 후의 흐름인 역공급사슬(Reverse Supply Chain)을 구축하도록 강요하고 있다. 역공급사슬의 구축과 운영에 있어 정책적인 선택에 따라 환경에 미치는 영향은 크게 달라질 수 있으므로, 관련 정책이나 규제, 기업의 전략이 공급사슬에 미치는 영향을 파악하는 것은 매우 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 공급사슬 전체에 걸쳐 환경 영향과 운영 효율성을 평가할 수 있는 도구를 개발하고, 시나리오 분석을 통해 역공급사슬 구축 정책이 공급사슬에 미치는 영향을 분석할 것이다. 본 연구에서 제안한 분석 모델은 정부의 환경 정책 수립, 기업의 역공급사슬 구축, 운영 효율성 향상 등에 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

글로벌 반도체기업들의 공급체인 관리와 전략에 대한 비교사례 연구 (A Comparative Case Study on Supply Chain Management and Strategy of Global Semiconductor Companies)

  • 최근, 4차 산업이 새롭게 시장에 등장하면서 다양한 반도체의 수요도 증가하고 있다. 이에 따라 반도체산업은 더욱 빠르게 변화하고 있는 기술과 시장의 요구에 대응할 수 있도록 혁신을 통해 새로운 4차 산업의 니즈에 대응하고 있다. 아울러 그동안 공급체인에 대한 연구는 다양한 분야에서 활발하게 이루어져 왔다. 그리고 반도체산업에서도 공급체인과 관련된 연구는 어느 정도 진행되었으나 반도체기업에 대한 사례연구는 그동안 많이 부족하였다. 따라서 국내와 해외의 4개 글로벌 반도체기업들을 대상으로 공급체인 관리와 전략에 대한 연구를 진행하고 각 기업의 실제현황을 상호 비교하여 분석하였다. 결과적으로 사례의 모든 기업들은 공급체인 관리를 적극적이고 조직적이며 체계적으로 실행하고 있는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 그리고 각사의 공급체인 관리에 있어서 많은 부분이 서로 유사하였으며 일부에서만 약간 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 공급체인 전략에 있어서는 각사마다 독특한 전략을 가지고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 나아가 본 연구결과를 바탕으로 다른 반도체기업에 도움이 되는 전략적 시사점을 제시하였다.

공공임대주택의 2단계 공급방식 적용 방안에 관한 연구 - 일본 스켈레톤 임대형 SI주택 사례를 중심으로 - (A Study on the Application of the Two Step Supply System of Public Rental Housing - Focused on the cases of SI housing with skeleton rental in Japan -)

  • In recent years, there has been a demand for a residential supply model that can actively and flexibly cope with various housing demands in the changing paradigm of public rental housing. This study focuses on the two-step supply system that has been studied in Japan. It was used to examine and analyze cases to recommend a supply plan that can be used for domestic public rental housing. In more detail, the literature review of the two-step supply system discloses that four types by supply methods (A-1, A-2, B-2, and C-2) and four types of relationship (construction and management combine entities type, management entity type, construction entity type, a separated entity type) can be categorized. In addition, from the actual case study, it revealed that the way of linking and supplying activities among the entity can have a great influence on "ease of supply (supply)", "diversity of housing demand (diversity)," and "quality of construction (construction)". "Ease of supply (supply)" refers to whether the construction entity is separated, and the owner is a manager. "Diversity" refers to whether the management subject is separated, and if the owner is also the constructor or the manager. "Construction" is whether the management entity is connected and managed by the management entity and can be evaluated in "Good", "Middle", and "Bad" level. As a summary, even if the existing public rental housing in Korea can be separated into a skeleton and infill system, the result suggested that it has a limitation on response to residential demand. In addition, the paper was able to propose an improved plan to make the infill as a secondary operator.

Development of a Composite Revenue Sharing-Quantity Flexibility Contract

  • In supply chain management, the supply contract can induce collaboration and coordination among the supply chain members in order to optimize supply chain performance. Numerous supply contracts have been examined; however, some difficulties related to the application of these contracts still occur. One of the solutions is to apply the composite supply contract which can assist in the supply chain coordination. This research examines the composite contract of the revenue sharing and quantity flexibility contracts in a two-stage supply chain, which comprises a retailer and a supplier. In this research, a mathematical model of the composite contract is developed; then, the applicability of the proposed composite contract is examined by investigating its capability in terms of supply chain coordination and profit allocation. In the numerical experiments, the composite revenue sharing-quantity flexibility contract showed that it is superior to both component contracts in terms of supply chain coordination and profit allocation among supply chain members.

A Study on the Effect of Win-win Growth Policies on Sustainable Supply Chain and Logistics Management in South Korea

  • Purpose: In Korea, win-win growth policy has been successfully implemented in supply chain and logistics management. In the policy, it is recommended to support supply chain partners with various mechanisms including financial and technical aids. This study attempts to scientifically analyze the effects of direct and indirect win-win growth policy factors on supply chain and logistics management performance through partnership factors. Research design, data and methodology: This study builds a structural equation model reflecting the relationship between the win-win growth policy, partnership and performance factors. The proposed model is verified with the PLS (Partial Least Squares regression) methodology. Data from shipper and logistics companies were collected and analyzed by the PLS model. Results: The analysis showed that both direct and indirect policy factors are meaningful to improve supply chain and logistics performance. Indirect support factors including R&D, management innovation, human resources development and educational supports have positive impacts on partnership factors. Direct support factors including financial aids and fairness also have positive impacts on the performance. Conclusions: This study is meaningful in that it suggests a turning point in which supply chain Win-win growth and partnership efforts are perceived as new value-creating mechanism rather than unilateral cost reduction for logistics industry.

RTE 환경에서의 SOA 기반 협업적 분산 에이전트 개발 (Development of a SOA-based Distributed Collaborative Agent in RTE Environments)

  • The organizations in the competitive business environment are under pressure of handling internal management processes as well as external supply chain issues. In addition, the paradigm of supply chain management (SCM) has been shifted from static to dynamic problems. For the efficient SCM, organizations should be a RTE (Real Time Enterprises) that views entire supply chains as a single entity. In this paper, the agent system that makes RTE and dynamic supply chains possible is developed. Then, the developed agent system is verified in the TAC SCM(Trading Agent Competition Supply Chain Management) experimental environment and a dashboard is also developed for monitoring management activities of supply chains. The contributions of this paper are as followings. First, unlike the previous agent systems, the suggested agent system in this paper provides autonomy and scalability using SOA. Second, this suggested model for dynamic environment can be applied for the development of software supporting a SCM.

친환경활동이 공급체인성과와 환경성과에 미치는 영향에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Green SCM Strategy and Business Performance factors in Korean Enterprises)

  • This paper examined the supply chain management Integration factors and evironmental performance in Korean industry. As SCM got evolved, the importance of Socially and Environmentally Responsible Supply Chain among the Supply Chain members are increased. we should consider the following critical factors such as SCM Integration, environmental practice, SCM performance and environmental performance. The purpose of this study is to focus on linkage between conventional SCM factors with new environmental factors to clarify the critical factor for the SCM firms who may concerns about environmental performance. Based on the analysis of sixty-two cases, the following results were found. First, SCM Integration factors of supply chain management have a positively significant influence on SCM performance and environmental performance of supply chain management. Second, SCM performance have a positively significant influent on environmental performance. Third, environmental practice factors of supply chain management have a positively significant influence on SCM performance but not significant influence on environmental performance. This study suggests that with high level of Integration and environmental practice, firms may have good result on SCM performance and environmental performance. Especially, our empirical evidence shows that environmental practices without good SCM performance, may not have good result on environmental performance.
