부속품의 계약제도 적용방안에 관한 연구 (Research on Applying Contracting Systems for repair parts)

  • Supply units in each command are multi-tiered and each supply unit keeps a supply level independently, which can cause excess stock, leading false reports to the Logistics Command and increasing difficulties in managing user needs. This causes excess assets and the excess then causes deformation in demand. therefore, the supply support systems of our armed forces have become high-cost/low-efficiency and are insufficient to meet the needs of users in combat units. Civilian corporations and the US Department of Defense are downsizing the aforementioned multi-tiered supply systems thus revolutionizing efficient and effective logistics by adopting Supply Chain Management(SCM), and Prime Vendor policies. Prime Vendor policy is a logistics support method that allows users to directly request and receive supply items from suppliers, based on supply contracts between suppliers and central maintenance organizations like KDA. In other words, it is a system that allows for users to make orders to suppliers directly and suppliers to deliver goods to the users directly, cutting out the middle stage, thus allowing an efficient supply. This is a way forward in finance that cuts costs in net supplies and allows an efficient utilization of civilian assets. which is also known to fasten the speed of logistical support and stripping down the logistical structure. therefore, this report will explore Prime Vendor policies adopted in certain number of units for medical supplies that were taken in consideration of improvements in stock management in civilian organizations and the US Army, and aims to apply such policies for repair parts.

수요와 수율의 불확실성을 고려한 공급망 조정 (Supply Chain Coordination for Perishable Products under Yield and Demand Uncertainty: A Simulation Approach)

  • Purpose: This study developed a simulation model that incorporates the uncertainty of demand and yield to obtain optimized results for supply chain coordination within environmental constraints. The objective of this study is to examine whether yield management for perishable products can achieve the goal of supply chain coordination between a single buyer and a single supplier under a variety of environmental conditions. Methods: We investigated the efficiency of a revenue-sharing contract and a wholesale price contract by considering demand and yield uncertainty, profit maximizing ratio, and success ratio. The implications for environmental variation were derived through a comparative analysis between the wholesale price contract and the revenue-sharing contract. We performed Monte Carlo simulations to give us the results of an optimized supply chain within the environments defined by the experimental factors and parameters. Results: We found that a revised revenue-sharing contracting model was more efficient than the wholesale price contract model and allowed all members of the supply chain to achieve higher profits. First, as the demand variation (${\sigma}$) increased, the profit of the total supply chain increased. Second, as the revenue-sharing ratio (${\Phi}$) increased, the profits of the manufacturer gradually decreased, while the profits of the retailer gradually increased, and this change was linear. Third, as the quality of yield increased, the profits of suppliers appear to increased. At last, success rate was expressed as the profit increased in the revenue-sharing contract compared to the profit increase in the wholesale price contract. Conclusion: The managerial implications of the simulation findings are: (1) a strategic approach to demand and yield uncertainty helps in efficient resource utilization and improved supply chain performance, (2) a revenue-sharing contract amplifies the effect of yield uncertainty, and (3) revised revenue-sharing contracts fetch more profits for both buyers and suppliers in the supply chain.

최적 구매량 결정을 위한 QF 계약 모형 (A Quantity Flexibility Contract Model for Optimal Purchase Decision)

  • Quantity Flexibility contract coordinates individually motivated supplier and buyer to the systemwide optimal outcome by effectively allocating the costs of market demand uncertainty. The main feature of the contract is to couple the buyer's commitment to purchase no less than a certain percentage below the forecast with the supplier's guarantee to deliver up to a certain percentage above. In this paper we refine the previous models by adding some realistic features including the upper and lower limits of the purchase. We also incorporate purchase and canceling costs in a cost function to reflect the real world contracting process more accurately. To obtain the solution of the model, we derive a condition for extreme points using the Leibniz's rule and construct an algorithm for finding the optimal solution of the model. Several examples illustrating the algorithm show that the approach is valid and efficient.

소매 공급망 관리에서 블록체인 활용에 관한 연구 (A Study on Blockchain Adoption in Retail Supply Chain Management)

  • 본 연구에서는 블록체인 기술의 지속 가능성을 달성하기 위해 소매 공급망을 개선할 수 있는 방법과 공급망 관리에 대한 잠재적인 블록체인 및 스마트 계약 애플리케이션에 대한 분석 결과를 제시하였다. 또한 블록체인 기술이 어떻게 다양한 소매점 운영에서 고객과 상인 모두에게 많은 이익을 줄 수 있을지 그 방법을 제안하였다. UTUAT 모델의 수정된 버전을 활용하여 소매점에서 공급망 관리를 위한 블록체인 사용의 실행 가능성을 추가적으로 검증하였다. 그리고 소매 산업의 공급망 관리에서 블록 네트워크 사용에 대한 행동 의도와 수용 사이에 통계적으로 중요하고 긍정적인 연관성이 있음이 확인되었다. 블록체인 기술을 채택하려는 행동 의도(BI)는 성능 기대치, 효과 기대치, 주관적 기준 및 활성화 변수에 의해 크게 영향을 받고 있고 성능 및 노력 기대치는 공급망 관리에서 블록체인을 채택하려는 행동 의도에 상당한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

  • According to the 4th BPE(Basic Plan for long-term Electricity Supply and Demand), Electricity demand of Jeju island in 2012 will be reached to 682MW. Jeju island will be faced with severe shortage of electricty, also needed to find transport route to supply green energy which will be made from "Carbon free island" energy policy toward land at that time. For that reason, The plan which construct 400MW size HVDC connection line was decided for potential supply stabilization and transportation of green energy. KEPCO organized special construction office not only to observe the successful project completion which aims 2011 December but also to build up professional manpower. KEPCO is putting spur to the HVDC project these days. Construction site of converter stations has been already confirmed and contracts of cable, converter have done as per turn-key early this year. On this report, we would like to discuss about project scheme, main characteristics of system, and the furture progress plan of "Jindo~Jeju HVDC construction project expecially converter station part" which is being pushed by KEPCO.

  • 공급 기반 전반에 걸쳐 소싱(Sourcing)에서 조달에 이르는 프로세스를 자동화하고 외부 파트너인 공급사와의 관계를 전략적으로 운영하여 공급망 전체의 효율을 높이고자 SRM(Supplier Relation-ship Management)에 대한 관심이 증대되고 있다. 최근 조달청은 국가 조달행정의 새로운 패러다임을 구축하고 공공조달의 경쟁력을 강화하고자 SRM 개념을 도입하였다. 공공조달 환경에서의 SRM을 위해서는 공정하고 객관적으로 공급사를 평가하고 선정하기 위한 계약이행능력 평가모델의 구축이 요구된다. 본 논문에서는 공급사의 계약이행능력을 평가하고 이를 등급화하여 전략적으로 활용할 수 있는 SRM 솔루션을 제안하고 이를 통해 국가 공공조달 시스템의 혁신방안에 대해 설명한다.

The Impact of the Buyer Participation in CSR Activities on a Supply Chain

  • Purpose - This study aims to investigate whether the buyer's participation in CSR activities can affect the informal cooperation and relationship beyond formal cooperation and relationship. Research design, data, and methodology - We defined the research model and selected variables(monitoring and contracts by the buyer, formal cooperation & relationship, and informal cooperation & relationship). After completing the questionnaire, we analyzed 319 manufacturing companies. Prior to the hypothesis testing, Exploratory factor analysis(EFA) and confirmatory factor analysis(CFA) were conducted to check for discriminant validity and convergent validity. Results - The stronger the buyer monitoring on the company's CSR activities, the more positive it affects the formal business cooperation. On the other hand, strong buyer monitoring did not affect formal business relationships. Therefore, even if buyers' monitoring of CSR activities is strong, it does not mean that the formal business relationship is improved, but it means that it is possible to improve the formal business cooperation. Conclusions - This study shows that the stronger the buyer monitoring on the supplier's CSR activities, the more positive it affects formal cooperation. It also demonstrates that formal business cooperation between the supplier and the buyer, that is, sharing goals and works for CSR activities, has a positive effect on relationships based on emotional exchange and commitment.

Important Role of Power Exchange in Conducting Futures Market for Stabilizing Electric Power Industry in Transition

  • At present the electric power industry in Korea is going through a major restructuring process. The restructuring is motivated by a desire to reduce electricity supply costs, to attract new in-vestment in modern generation, transmission and distribution facilities, and to stimulate innovation in the wholesale production and the retail supply of electricity. The experience to date shows that restructuring of electric power industry in the US, however, is marred with a number of problematic market performances including unreasonably high prices at wholesale. This paper investigates the important role of Power Exchange for stabilizing electric power industry in transition by offering various financial products. These financial products are used for risk hedging by the market participants. The paper focuses on the risk hedging by an individual supplier and derives an explicit decision rule that incorporates the attitude towards the risks. In addition to providing the financial products for risk hedging by market participants, the Power Exchange plays another very important role of financial safeguard system. Because of its unique characteristics, the Power Exchange is well suited for financial surveillance where it performs the early detection of unsound financial (and to a large extent operational) practices on the part of any system users and protect the system integrity and the market participants from the consequences of a default in the clearing structure.

Statistical Analysis of the Usage Type of Online Cremation Reservation Service in Funeral Information System : Focused on the Public Cremation Facilities of Incheon Metropolitan City

  • As of 2016, the cremation rates in the capital area are 91.2% in Incheon Metropolitan City, 87.5% in Seoul Special City, and 87.1% in Gyeonggi-do Province, of which Incheon has the highest rate, and cremation of general corpses through the online cremation reservation service of the funeral information system is continuously increasing every year. And as of 2017, the ratio of the cremation for those outside the jurisdiction (residents of other regions) among the users of public cremation establishment in Incheon, is about 32%. As the supply capacity is expected to reach the limit within several years due to the increase in demand for such a cremation facility, I would like to suggest a policy as follows. The expansion of cremation supply capacity by increasing the number of operations in the cremation furnace; The attractions of operating funds through contracts for joint use of the cremation facility with other local governments and investment funds for the expansion of cremation facilities; The plan for controlling the demand in cremation such as an increase in cremation charge for those outside the jurisdiction(residents of other regions), should be considered.

7차 전력수급계획에 따른 송전계통 손실 분석에 관한 연구 (Assessment of Transmission Losses with The 7th Basic Plan of Long-term Electricity Supply and Demand)

  • In recent years, decentralized power have been increasing due to environmental problems, liberalization of electricity markets and technological developments. These changes have led to the evolution of power generation, transmission, and distribution into discrete sectors and the division of integrated power systems. Therefore, studies are underway to efficiently supply power and reduce losses to each sector's demand. This is a major concern for system planners and operators, as it accounts for a relatively high proportion of total power, with a transmission and distribution loss of 4-6%. Therefore, this paper analyzes the status of loss management based on the current transmission and distribution loss rate of each country and transmission loss management cases of each national power company, and proposes a loss rate prediction algorithm according to the long-term transmission system plan. The proposed algorithm predicts the demand-based long-term evolution and the loss rate of the grid to which the transmission plan is applied.
