  • This research is to examine the relationships between viscosity and fluidity according to binders in the super flowing concrete. And this research is described with respect to rheology concept, confined water ratio($\beta_p$) of binders in paste and mortar, also investigated experimentally the relationships between the relative flowing ratio ($\Gamma_m$) and the funneling velocity ratio($R_m$) on the mortar state according to the water binder ratio(W/B) and the dosage of the superplasticizer. From the confined water ratio tests, it is found that $\beta_p$ of the class C fly ash is higher than that of the class F fly and limestone in paste and mortar, therefore class F fly ash and limestone and super flowing concrete. The result of test, the optimum mix condition to the compactibility if satisfied when the replacement ratio is 30% and $K_p$ is 0.8 for the case of fly ash and limestone.

  • This study is aimed for investigating the rheology property and fluidity of superplasticizer which is necessary using for high flowing concrete fluidity establishment. Therefore, this study is analysis the rheology property and fluidity by different according temperature and elapsed time. From the results, the fluidity and rheology value were different according temperature. Over 2$0^{\circ}C$, the flow value of A, B, C, D, E type is increased, according as the increase of temperature, but the flow value of F type is decreased.

  • The purpose of this study is to put to practical use the economical high-strength lightweight concrete manufactured by domestic materials, through the analysis on the properties of lightweight concrete with the natural zeolite and mud stone abundant in domestic and compare them with those with silica fume. As a result, it was possible to gain proper workability in the lightweight concrete with admixtures through using the superplasticizer. the optimum replacement rate of zeolite and mud stone powder is respectively 5~10%, 10~15% on unit-cement amount. The strength development rate for plain concrete is 27%, 18% at optimum replacement rate.

  • To perform high-strength of concrete, fine powers of pozzolan such as fly ash, silica fume mixed with cement. But mobility of cement and concrete decreased due to using of these powers. To control decrease of this mobility, it is required that mobility is improved by using of chemical admixture such as superplasticizer. We used admixtures -NSF, NM-2, NT-2 etc- in order to improve mobility of cement paste being substituted by 10, 20% of pozzolans respectively. It proved that optimum dosage of NSF, NT-2 was 2.0% for being substituted 10%, 3.0% for 20% so as to increase mobility of cement paste mixed paste mixed with fine powers of pozzolan at W/C=0.40.

  • The paper explores the potential of applicability of Genetic programming approach (GP), adopted in this investigation, to model the combined effects of five independent variables to predict the mini-slump, the plate cohesion meter, the induced bleeding test, the J-fiber penetration value, and the compressive strength at 7 and 28 days of self-compacting slurry infiltrated fiber concrete (SIFCON). The variables investigated were the proportions of limestone powder (LSP) and sand, the dosage rates of superplasticiser (SP) and viscosity modifying agent (VMA), and water-to-binder ratio (W/B). Twenty eight mixtures were made with 10-50% LSP as replacement of cement, 0.02-0.06% VMA by mass of cement, 0.6-1.2% SP and 50-150% sand (% mass of binder) and 0.42-0.48 W/B. The proposed genetic models of the self-compacting SIFCON offer useful modelling approach regarding the mix optimisation in predicting the fluidity, the cohesion, the bleeding, the penetration, and the compressive strength.

  • This paper presents coal mine waste (CMW) for use in concrete manufacture as a replacement of normal aggregates. The CMW in this study was collected from Sabook, Jungson-kun, Kangwon-do. Fine and coarse asggregates from CMW were prepared by crushing it in a jaw crusher and separating debris with #4 sieve. CMW aggregates showed good physical and mechanical properties with having specific gravity over 2.65, absorption less than 1%, and abration ratio below 20%, but particle shape of CMW was long or flat, which caused a poor workability in mixing. Therefore, to make workability better, a 1/4 of CMW coarse aggregate was replaced with normal aggregate which had a good particle shape, and a superplasticizer was added to the mix. Compressive strength and other mechanical properties of CMW concrete was very good. In conclusion, characteristics of CMW concrete was acceptable for use as a concrete structural material.

  • This experimental study was performed to produce high flowing nomal strength concrete using viscosity agent. Test variables were selected to the viscosity agent contents with 4 levels, the cement contents with 5 levels and the coarse aggregate contents with 3 levels, etc. As a result, the high flowing and filling properties of concrete were obtatined by proper amount of viscosity agent and superplasticizer in the normal strength concrete. For the concrete mix proportions, it was found that unit weight of cement was more than 364kg/㎥ and volume of coarse aggregate was less than $280\ell/\textrm{m}^3$ in this study.

  • Recently, great efforts and investment have been made in order to achieve economical production by applying new methods like minimization of man-power into construction field. Therefore in this study, we have been focused on the development and practical using of high of high flowing concrete with fly ash, superplasticizer and viscocity agent, also we find out the optimum mix proportions to accomplish good wuality high flowing concrete. The results of this study show that high flowing concrete with the ratio of fly ash replacement of 20%, viscosity agent of 300g/㎥ and superplsticizer 2.0%(C$\times$%) in W/B of 35, 45% has better performance than the high flowing concrete without fly ash replacement

  • This study is the experimental results on the flowing properties of the super flowing concrete (SFC) using limestone (LS), which is to develop the SFC in level of ordinary strength. And this study is described with respect to basic concept, confined water ratio ($\beta_p$) of binder (cement+limestone) in paste, relationship between volume ratio of water-binder (w/b) and addition ratio of superplasticizer in mortar, flowing velocity and funneling time and compressive strength in concrete to replacement ratio of LS. The results of this study is improved to flowing properties in fleshly concrete with increasing replacement ratio of LS. The optimal mixing condition of the SFC using LS in level of ordinary strength is proved W/C 55%, LS 40% and W/C 60%, LS 50%.
