Pseudoaneurysm of the right ventricular outflow tract (RVOT) has been reported as a rare complication of RVOT reconstruction performed using conduit replacement or patch repair. Rarely, it may present alongside symptoms secondary to the compression of adjoining mediastinal structures. We report the case of a patient who developed a symptomatic RVOT pseudoaneurysm one month after a total correction of tetralogy of Fallot. In the present case, superior vena cava syndrome was caused by compression of the superior vena cava, which was a very unusual presentation.

A 56-year-old male presented with severe exertional dyspnea and pitting edema in the lower extremities. The preoperative evaluation demonstrated biventricular dysfunction associated with severe tricuspid valve regurgitation and a persistent left superior vena cava. He was registered as a transplantation candidate, and orthotopic heart transplantation was performed using the standard bicaval technique. The left superior vena cava was connected to the right atrial appendage after the construction of a conduit using the recipient's autologous coronary sinus tissue. One-month postoperatively, computed tomography imagery demonstrated a patent conduit between the left superior vena cava and right atrial appendage.

Mesenteric ischemic symptoms appear only when two of the three major splanchnic arteries from the abdominal aorta are involved. Recently, we encountered a case of chronic mesenteric ischemia in a 50-year-old female patient caused by atherosclerotic obstruction of the celiac trunk and superior mesenteric artery. She was treated with a retrograde bypass graft from the right common iliac artery to the superior mesenteric artery (SMA) in a C-loop configuration. Complete revascularization is recommended for treatment of intestinal ischemia. When the celiac trunk is a not suitable recipient vessel, bypass grafting to the SMA alone appears to be both an effective and durable procedure for treating intestinal ischemia.

This study was conducted to ramify of the splenic arteries by injection of Vinylite into the splenic arteries in twenty five adult Korean cattle. The results obtained are summarized as follows : 1. Splenic trabcular arteries of bovine were originated from 3 chief Rami lienales, Aa. terminales superior et inferior and A. polaris superior, of the splenic arteries, and the splenic parenchyma was ramified to 4-9 arterial segments by the course of the Rami lienales. 2. Each one of the arterial segments was dealt with 2-4 Teilsegmente, therefore, the splenic parenchyma was ramified from 12 Teilsegmente in minimum to 30 Teilsegmente in maximum. 3. The distribution of the arteries in the spleens was divided into 6 types by the number of arterial segments, and also was 15 kinds by the distributing arteries, Aa. terminales superior et inferior and A. polares superior. 4. The anastomosis was not observed between the arterial segments and Teilsegmente.

Superior hypogastric plexus block is extensively recognized as a unique nerve block method for the treatment of low abdominal pain originating from organs of the pelvic area. This block is difficult to perform on older patients, especially those with osteophyte, as they will experience a high degree of pain with this technique. Therefore we reported trans-discal superior hypogastric plexus by method of approach needle through disc. This method is less painful to the patient as compared to bilateral approach; and easier to place the needle tip at precise and proper location.

Both pelvic pain associated with cancer and chronic benign conditions may be alleviated by blocking the superior hypogastric plexus. Traditional bilateral placement of needles is the appropriate technique for the patient with pelvic pain due to the bilateral distribution of the disease as well as allowing for individual difference of pelvic cavity. However the technique is a very difficult procedure and painful for the paient. However we have performed transdiscal superior hypogastric plexus neurolysis free of complication.

This paper reviewed the relationship between internal marketing(management support, education, pay system, internal communication, employment security) and food safety climate(prevention, superior attitude, work condition), and the moderating effect of employment type(permanent or temporary employees) in food service company. Based on the responses from 304 responses, the results of hierarchical multiple regression analysis showed that 4 factors(management support, education, internal communication, employment security) effect positively on food safety climate(prevention, superior attitude, work condition). The positive effect of internal communication on superior attitude and work condition appeared to be more positive in permanent employees than in temporary employees. And the results of t-test analysis showed that permanent employees perceived more positively all internal marketing factors(management support, education, pay system, internal communication, employment security) and food safety climate(precaution, superior attitude, work condition) than temporary employees.

This study was conducted to selected Korean black raspberry (Rubus coreanus Miq.) for high productivity. The eight major agronomic traits were investigated from 198 clones of the clone bank established in Korea Forest Research Institute, Suwon, Korea. The selection levels based on number of fruit per fructify lateral (NFFL) over 20, and fruit weight (FW) over 1.3g, and yield of individual per fructify lateral (YIFL) over 25g, were applied on 198 clones, resulted in 17 clones selected. The selected superior trees, 17 clones, appeared regional differences for amount of fruiting among 4 different test sites. When number of fruit per fruit petiole (NRFP), fruit weight (FW), yield of individual (YI) and sugar content were satisfied over 20, 1.4g, 6kg and 9.5 brix, respectively, as a select condition, 5 clones were reselected as the superior trees among 17 clones. for 3 years.

The superior hypogastric plexus block (SHPB) is used for treating pelvic pain, especially in patients with gynecological malignancies. Various approaches to this procedure have been reported due to the anatomic obstacles of a high iliac crest or large transverse process of the $5^{th}$ lumbar vertebra. Here, we report a new technique of superior hypogastric plexus block using a unilateral single-needle approach to block the bilateral superior hypogastric plexus with a Tuohy needle and epidural catheter. We have confidence that this new technique can be another option in performing the SHPB when the conventional bilateral approach is difficult to perform.

The paper reports on alternative hybrid/mixed formulations being developed by the Structural Analysis Research Group of Institute Superior T$\acute{e}$cnico. These formulations open the scope and increase the power of the finite element method by allowing different fields to be independently approximated, within certain consistency criteria, and by enhancing the use of a wide range of approximation functions. They have been applied to the analysis of 2-D problems, laminar structures and solids, using different constitutive relations, both in quasi-static and dynamic regimes. The fundamental properties of the formulations are identified and assessed and their performance is illustrated using simple, linear applications.
