Julia sets, their variants and generalizations have been studied extensively by using the Picard iterations. The purpose of this paper is to introduce Mann iterative procedure in the study of Julia sets. Escape criterions with respect to this process are obtained for polynomials in the complex plane. New escape criterions are significantly much superior to their corresponding cousins. Further, new algorithms are devised to compute filled Julia sets. Some beautiful and exciting figures of new filled Julia sets are included to show the power and fascination of our new venture.

Block of superior hypogastric plexus has been advocated as a useful technique in the palliation of various of pelvic pain syndromes. This technique has been performed under fluroscopic or CT guidance using bilateral placement of needles. We performed a modification of transdiscal approach with the patient in oblique position permitting successful superior hypogastric plexus block using a single needle placed under fluoroscopic guidance. Our experience suggest transdiscal approach performed in oblique position allows easier, safer, and more accurate needle placement for superior hypogastric plexus block.

The incidence of superior cerebellar artery aneurysm is less than 1% of all intracranial aneurysms. These aneurysms usually occur at the junction between the superior cerebellar artery and the basilar trunk, however, seldom occur distally. We present a extremely rare case of distal superior cerebellar artery aneurysm arising at the junction between anterior pontine segment and ambient segment.

More than twenty years have passed since the approval of the first recombinant DNA product for therapeutic use (recombinant human insulin, 1982). However, the biotechnology industry is still facing a shortage of manufacturing capacity due to the increasing demand of therapeutic proteins. This demand has prompted the search for a growing number of biological production systems but, nevertheless, the Gram-negative bacterium Escherichia coli remains one of the most attractive production hosts. This review highlights the most important features and developments of plasmid vector design, emphasizing the different reported strategies for improving the expression and secretion of heterologous proteins using the cellular machinery of E. coli.

This thesis is to analyse the correlations between superior's behavior and subordi nate's personal character. In order to do this study first, I set up a hypothesis. Second, I surveyed the result from the questionnaire to verify it on the basis of the data on the 442 employees who work at Ban-Wol Complex in Ansan City Third, I used the SPSS program. Based on the result of the research, the hypothesis is proved as follows: The result from superior's autonomy shows high subordinate's Self-esteem and Self-regulation, but result from strong superior's regulation shows low Self-esteem and Self-regulation.

Lymph node metastasis of thyroid cancer occurs to anterior compartment (level VI) and superior mediastinal lymph node (Level VII). In lateral neck, it occurs commonly in middle and lower jugular lymph node (level III, IV). And it can also metastasis to posterior neck lymph node (level V). Superior mediastinal lymph node metastasis of thyroid cancer requires superior mediastinal dissection with massive removal of peritracheal and periesophageal soft tissue. After superior mediastinal dissection, severe complication may occurs such as innominate artery rupture and tracheal necrosis. We describe a case of tracheal necrosis as a complication of superior mediastinal dissection and total thyroidectomy in thyroid cancer patient.
